This car has been the best car I have had! I bought it when it had 52K miles on it and it now has over 235K and still running strong. I haven't had to do much to it other than regular oil changes. Everything still works just like it did when I Bought it.

Bought this car in 2017 for $6500. It had 86k miles. Currently its at 188k miles. Never changed the transmission oil. Other than regular maintenance I've only had to change the radiator, water pump, the struts and the coils twice. I will be changing the axles , front shocks and the valve cover. Car has been good to me. I thought the CVT would have given out by now with all the stories I've heard about them. Car is slow. Back seats are uncomfortable. MPG isn't the best for a 4cyl. Plenty of leg room and trunk space. If you can get one with less than 120k miles for cheap and you have a reliable and affordable mechanic take the risk. Worst case scenario you burn 3-4 thousand dollars. best case scenario you have 5-10 years of a reliable car without a car payment and you save on car insurance.

I had this car for 5 years, and it took me all over the place. I will miss my lil catmobile. Car was reliable, good on gas and had a little power to it.

Getting my license reinstated and receiving this car at no cost and so far 2 years and I’ve had one problem and it was the starter! This vehicle means a lot to me!!

This is, by far, the best vehicle I have ever owned! I now have $169,800 MI on the car that I've had for about 6 years now and it rides like brand new! It starts right up, and except for battery issues and a parasitic drain which you have to watch out for, as well as transmission issues at 100,000 k. But if you have one of the car services that that you pay into, and repairs the card, after the first transmission is replaced, you will have no issues with the car for at least another $125,000 MI! it's an awesome car and I would highly recommend it! If you tune it up, this vehicle will have 340 horses and will be a beast! I know that's exactly what I did!!

The front seats are comfortable and supportive. The 4 cyl has pep, gets 20 mph in the city at 165,000 miles and has been very reliable. When first moving in cold weather, the CVT transmission has to warm up for a couple of minutes before it smoothly shifts gears or manually shift it. It starts every time with a 5 year old battery in 0 degree weather. All in all, a good purchase.a

I was looking for a specific model of used car. On line I found Woodrum Toyota and saw they had the vehicle I was looking for in stock at an affordable fair price. After confirming they still had the car on the lot, I drove 3 1/2 hours from the St. Louis area to check it out. In the Fall of 2018, my mechanic said: "My customer's daughter bought a new Altima, and is giving my customer her used Altima. So my customer must get rid of the previous Altima that her daughter gave her. It runs like a top & the air conditioning works." I've been driving said 2000 Altima to date (7/15/2020) without problems except for the duct-taped bumpers & fenders. Good acceleration. The smooth automatic transmission allows me to drive slower more comfortably than I do in my manual 5-speed 1990 240SX. The check engine light lit recently. It probably indicates I need a routine oil change as it did last time. 18 mpg under all conditions. My other car is a 1988 Fiero which handles better than anything new available below $50,000. The Fiero is better in the snow. But the Altima makes me think a new 21st-century car might be a good thing.

I recommend this car to anyone! I had the car for 4 years to get me through college and unfortunately I hit a deer and completely totaled the car. Nissan gets too much hate, this was an absolutely solid car. Bought the car with 48,000 miles and the odometer read 235,000 miles right before I totaled it. I have never had a single mechanical issue with the car, the only thing that needed to be replaced was my AC system at 140,000 miles. If you want a car that last forever buy an Altima you won’t be disappointed. I have owned a 2008 Rogue, 2009 Versa, the 2015 Altima, and now I own a 2023 Nissan Rogue and I have never had a problem with any of my cars. I will be buying Nissan again again.

I was in the market to purchase a reliable used car for my daughter for under $5k. We had been all over town for a couple of weeks. Mom bought this car new; it was fresh off the delivery truck when we test drove it. The first test drive odometer had less than 1 mile! It’s been a great car, no major issues, and very reliable! Now I am the proud owner, still going strong! Love the mpg, and the 2.5 has plenty of pep for daily driving. I would buy another one before one of the newer CVTs!

This is my second van I purchased here. My first one was a 1996 Aerostar back in 2015 and it was really clean and drove nice. I never had major issues. I have had my 05 Altima for 18 years. Still running fine except for a few hiccups here and there which are expected for any machine. It now has over 200K miles and hopefully will last to 300K or more.

This car is the xxxx, the steering wheel pulls in and out for adjustments, I don’t like the radio it’s not loud enough but that is my only complaint.

This car has never failed me, except when it needed a new battery. It only has 79000 miles on it, but I was 77 yrs. old when I bought it, and am now 91 yrs. old. I made long distance trips in it when I was younger. I drove it to Wyoming a few times and Florida and Hilton Head. Now I primarily use it to go to play golf once a week during Spring, Summer and Fall. I believe this was one of the best years for the manufacture of the Nissan Altima, as Consumer Reports has not had much good to say about the ones manufactured after the 2008 model.

I bought a Altima coupe a few years ago, used with about 150K miles on it, and besides a few battery issues (not the cars fault, don’t buy batteries from auto zone.) it’s been nothing but a great little sports car! It drives fantastic, sounds great, and can get up to speed quickly. I love my car and I think with a tune up and some fluids changed it can feel just like new! Would definitely recommend this as a first car for a teenager or young adult, has amazing gas mileage and is easy to park and drive since it’s so small. Overall I love my Altima coupe and I hope to keep it for a long time!
