This is a great muscle car! Probably too powerful for some, but it sure does have some scoot! We'll be sad to see it leave, but just don't have the time to keep the engine maintenance up.

What an absolute beauty of a car! You can make money with it at shows... Just ask anyone if they know what kind of car, you response will generally be 69 Camaro, then double up since it has wing (vent) windows, and point that out. There next guess...a 67 Camaro... no go big! and unveil it is a 67 Firebird dressed like a 68/69/70 Camaro!! You'll win everytime.

After owning a first year Firebird 35+ years I cannot tell you the number of people who confuse it with the Camaro. At first glance I can certainly understand it but when you take the time to look at the details, the unique features and style of the Firebird there is no comparison. The Firebird is far superior.

I've always been a Pontiac conisur. In '77 I got a 69. Absolutely amazing. In 2003 I got a 91. Now I have a '95 and it is tops. Named her SAM for Surface to Air Missle. Yes I am retired Army. I had been looking at C3 Corvette's for almost 2 years and I finally found my 1979 Corvette with Glass T Tops and a 4-speed manual transmission and a very clean interior and very clean interior. Very good looking Corvette and they called me earlier today and the shipper told me it was ready to be shipped out, so I should have my dream car next weekend. professional..however a lot of the cars they are selling don't run or need extensive work..it makes me feel the ads are a bit deceptive..not disclosing that info upfront..I wouldn't have wasted my time pursuing these vehicles

This car was a weekender, so not a lot of miles on in for a car that's been owned since 1979. All original, AC duct work, very minor paint touch ups, and a little interior work will get it back to near showroom condition.

It?s awesome, fun to drive and the exhaust sounds godly, it?s pretty quick off the line, and it?s just an overall fun car to have in a small collection a good grocery getter

2002 was the end of the line for performance cars at Pontiac. The Firebird and Trans Am were iconic muscle cars that helped define the genre. I was lucky in finding 1 of 2000 Collector Edition models with super low miles. The car runs strong, handles well, and still looks great 19 years later. The interior is dated but nobody buys a Trans Am for the interior. It is still fast and fun to drive. Getting a 4th generation Firebird is more economical then buying a project and restoring/modifying it to meet modern standards. This car is for serious drivers to are tired of the current run of the mill cookie-cutter tin can cars today, and it is half the price of current muscle car remnants, it can still keep up with most of them too!
