One of 1,591 HO-equipped GTO Convertibles produced
One of just 1,591 HO-equipped GTO Convertibles produced in 1967, this car features a long list of coveted factory options that include an upgrade to Ram Air set up, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, power convertible top working 8 Track Tape Player and a 3.90:1 Safe-T-Track Posi-traction rear end. Only 1.9 percent of the total 1967 GTO production run were allocated to HO-equipped convertibles, making this car extremely rare. This Pontiac GTO presents beautifully in its Red finish with a black convertible top, highlighted by a set of Rally II rims. The interior is classic GTO with black vinyl upholstery, wood-grain dashboard, Rally gauges with a tachometer, sport steering wheel and factory-issue seat belts, both front and rear. This particular GTO is a low-production example with all of the right equipment, making this a very desirable, high-performance classic. The Rebuild and Balance of this HO 9786133 WS motor was performed by a professional engine build speed shop to provide peak performance with long engine life. The rebuild included re-work of the 670 heads, 72cc chambers with a fresh 3 angle competition valve job, resurfacing of deck, new Viton positive valve seals and new hardened exhaust seats. The 9786133 WS motor was fitted with a new complete Stroker Rotating assembly from Butler Performance with dished Forged Piston to provide 9.75:1 compression with the 72cc #670 cylinder heads fitted with a COMP Ram Air IV Cam, Scorpion Raving 1052 Roller Rocker Arms, 4 barrel Quadra-Jet with a RAM AIR configuration sitting on top of the original 9786286 intake manifold with Power Coated HO D Port Exhaust Manifolds in place for connection to the new 2.5” PYPES no X- pipe SS exhaust system, running on pump gas 92-93 octane.

Honest and reliable
My 2007 Mercedes CLS550 had a complicated engine problem. So expensive that I drove it from California to Phoenix for repairs. As an out-of-state walk-in customer I feel I could really have been taken advantage of. Munich Motors honored their original estimate despite unforeseen additional problems and then shipped the car back to California at their expense. I highly recommend Munich Motors for their honesty and dedication to getting the job done right. They are the place to go for reliable repairs.
2006 GTO, Excitement by the best division ever
I have always wanted one. Now that I have it I am not disappointed. Pontiac knows how to make excitement. The Red leather in my car is just beautiful and the seats are the best ever. Performance is off the chain with this thing, stomp the pedal and the thing almost jumps off the road. It will be a keeper!

A great place to shop!
As I was just browsing and checking out the vehicles, the place was just great. They have a wide variety of options and high quality cars. I didn’t however speak to a employee, but overhearing other customers brought me to accurately say that the employees are very well trained and extremely polite. They give you any information you need on a vehicle and help get what you need. It’s simple. Just a great place overall.
My Dream Car
1967 GTO far exceeded my expectations in every category! I have wanted one since the 1970's and found one on-line at Classic Auto Cars, Inc.

So glad I purchased a GTO when they were available
Back in 2005 I never thought I would purchase a $35,000 car, but the Pontiac GTO had everything I was looking for in a sporty car: Excellent styling, rear wheel drive, large powerful V8 engine, solid transmission, and a stiff suspension. I am SO glad I bought it when I did, rather than waiting for the "new" Camaro to debut. The Camaro was a HUGE disappointment, with its high belt-line (meaning much smaller windows that are too high to comfortably rest your arm on the window sill while driving!), poor visibility, and cheap interior plastics. In contrast, the GTO has large windows, very nice soft plastics in the interior and very nice suede fabric on the door panels. The seats provide excellent support. While the GTO is low to the ground (it IS a sport car, after all), it is not difficult to get into and out of as many sporty cars are. And you do not feel like you are sitting in a "bucket" that you need to climb out of, as is the case with most unibody constructed cars. The LS2 6.0L V8 engine is awesome, with plenty of power in reserve at all times. Yes, premium fuel is recommended, but at least the engine has no gimmicks like a turbo that needs to be cooled down after you stop, before you turn the engine off! The automatic transmission is also a very strong 4-speed (including overdrive) model, rather than those newer 6-, 7-, and 8-speed automatics that cannot decide what gear to be in when you are trying to accelerate quickly or climb the mountains! The steering and suspension are very tight, with no play whatsoever. Problems? The throttle-body unit had to be replaced, and would have been under warranty if I had driven it more in the first 3 years (warranty period). The radiator sprung a leak after 120,000 miles, and a small plastic heater valve developed a crack at 146,000 miles, causing all coolant to drain out; then the replacement part also cracked within 3 weeks! But that has been it. One interior mistake was the standard power seats. When you are in a hurry to get into or out of the back seat, you need to press a button and hold it to move the seat forward to give enough space to climb in and out of the back. This mechanism has broken on BOTH of my front seats; the passenger seat now cannot move at all; it cannot even recline. I have not had it fixed because the estimate for parts and labor was close to $1100! Speaking of the back seat, you would be hard-pressed to find a two-door car with as roomy a back seat as this one. Back seat passengers have a tremendous amount of room. Because of the different rear-impact standards in the USA from Australia (where the GTO was made), the gasoline tank had to be relocated for the US market to behind the back seat. The result is that the trunk is quite small. I have not had a problem with it, but that's because I travel alone. My GTO has 147,000 miles now and is still on the original set of brakes! I am upset that this vehicle is nearing the end of its reliable life (how much longer can the water pump, fuel pump, hoses, etc last before I get stranded?) because there is really nothing else to replace it at a reasonable price. The Camaro design is poor (a shame because I usually love the feel and characteristics of GM cars), and I don't trust Ford (Mustang) or Chrysler (Dodge Challenger) reliability; I have heard of too many problems with them (Challenger = 8-speed automatic transmission.... ridiculous!). And I don't want to buy any technology that is older than this GTO. I don't mind continuing to pay for repairs, since I still love this car, but I just don't want to get stranded in some remote unfamiliar area, away from repair shops I trust. I wonder about parts availability in the future too, since it is a Pontiac, and there were so few GTO's built during its 3-year run (I believe it was limited to 18,000 per year?).

Love my goat. I want more.
I have owned my GTO for about 17 years. The car is true to the name and is a great grand touring car. I have driven it all over the country. It is about to cross the 250,000 mile mark. No real major issues. It is rough, but still going just fine. I plan on rebuilding it.

Johnny was a great salesman, and the experience was stressless. I had anticipated a long day making my purchase however it went quick. The price of my purchase was at a good price. I would recommend this dealership to all!
Fun, fun, fun!
I bought mine new in January 2006 after I totaled my 1999 BMW Dinan M3. The GTO is simply an amazing performer. The only mod on it is a K&N cold air intake, which actually added a little spunk to it. It revved up quicker and got an extra mile or so to the gallon. I bought a second used 2006 GTO in 2012. It had an aftermarket cat back exhaust system on it and the sound was definitely worth it. Stock, they were identical cars. At the time my husband and I ran them head to head. I was in the one I bought new, which had 40k miles on it and he was in the used one, with 68k miles. I got him through 1st and 2nd gear and he couldn’t make up the difference. My only complaint was the front suspension was set up weird and the front passenger tire rubbed on the spring. It was a fairly common complaint but Pontiac was done making them and refused to correct the issue. We were able to adjust it ourselves and take care of the problem. There was one issue with the climate control electronics but the dealer repaired it. The cars were designed to be put to the test and they held up reasonably well. The used one had to have the top end of the LS2 rebuilt at 70k miles, consequently the bottom end started making noise at about 75k miles, so I sold it. The first one needed a slave cylinder at 44k miles. I I’ve never regretted buying either of them. The interior is a far cry from the M3, but the performance of the LS2 would have left the Bimmer in the dust. In 2006, only 13948 were produced in 7 colors. 63% came with the Tremec 6 sp the other 37% were automatics. They have held their value due to the low production numbers. 15740 were produced in 2004 and 11069 in 2005. If you ever see a 2004 Purple Cosmos GTO, buy it! There were only 700 produced before that color was removed from the lineup.

Simply THE BEST experience I have ever had purchasing a classic car, and I have had many throughout the year! I worked with the salesman Jay and his attention to detail was amazing. Communication, Paperwork Process, and Delivery was spot on. I would highly recommend checking with Jay at Thiel Motors if you are in the market for the classic. The 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle I purchased came EXACTLY as described, if not better! Thanks to Jay and everyone else at Thiel Motors that helped with my purchase.

It's a muscle car incognito.
This car is faster than I imagined. I bought it from a friend who kept it up very nicely. It's in beautiful shape inside and out. Everything about this car I love except for two things: 1. Getting in and out is difficult. It could just be me. 2. It's hard to see out the back window using the rearview mirror because of the angle of the back window. But other than that ... it's the bomb!!

My family and I has always had a great experience with Premier Automotive Group, their honesty and transparency bring to customers’ satisfaction and great reputation they have, I highly encourage everyone to check their inventory and prices before going anywhere else.
Absolutely Love It...
I Loved imports all my life and still own a new and old R32 and R35 Skyline. Nothing like a import Turbo Spool and Blow off Valve. However I own a 2006 GTO as my daily driver. In fact this is my second 6.0 GOAT. They are Cyclone Grey. 1st one I had I sold to my brother who loves it. So far I've done every Full bolt on you can think of. From twin xxx rear mounted turbos, Long tube headers, highflow cats with X pipe. Front mount intercooler, ported throttle body from a c7 vetted. Basically everything that goes along with a twin turbo setup. At low boost (26lbs) On a mustang dyno, it makes around 920 hp to the ground. 1100 ft lbs of tq. Now im sorry for the list of parts. However I've had this set up for 3 years now and running high 9's in a 1/4 mile. I drive to the track and drive home. 690miles to and from. This car is insane. The only issue I ran into was having to roll the fenders for bigger rear tires. Which are now 305s. (275s) for daily which actually fit on the stock oem wheel. Oh also the stereo is trash. Lmfao. So I upgraded to a set of 10 speaker bose with a 1500 watt amp right next to my fuel cell in the trunk. Other than being a vette and viper and lambo killer. I would strip all its parts and ride this car stock until the wheels came off. Point Blank Period......
