I Love Montana's
I bought my 2004 Montana after owning 2 mini vans due to my growing Family. I owned a sienna and an Odyssey and after owning my Montana for almost 6 years I can say, when our Family is ready for a new vehicle, I will be purchasing another Montana. This is the Cadillac of minivans. It feels so luxurious. I especially appreciate that my Children can watch their DVD movies with earphones, while we listen to any CD on the CD changer. I love the room this van provides, although ours is the extended version which is a plus for my husband when he needs to remove the seats and haul his things around.

My Montana is Still Running Strong
Bought a 2004 Pontiac, Montana 7 years ago for a great price. Overall, this has been a very good vehicle. Yes, I had to repair minor things on it through the years, but that’s fine. It’s been reliable on the highway/never broke down on me. I use my Montana as my commuter for work and also a camping van in summer. It’s very comfortable for long road trips. I can pack a lot of things in it.

2003 Pontiac Montana N16 review
Squeaking under the hood.
I currently have a 2003 Montana with 250 klm on it. It has been a great reliable van. However recently when at low speed in town it "squeaks" quite loud. I took in to my local mechanic and he advise there is a bar causing the squeak and he would not work on it for there is rust around the connection. Is there a simple remedy for this problem.

Mileage is good, performance not so much.
My over all take on the montana, its runnabilty is good sadly lots of nickel and dime repairs, plagued w cooling issues, ive put 3 radiators in this one and one transmission and an alt other than that has been very reliable the air ride for rear shocks are problematic as well. Would i buy another? Yes.
