One of the best sports cars available today. Comfortable daily driver with canyon carving capability. Still available with a naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a manual transmission. One of the last (mostly) analogue delights at a (relatively) affordable price.

This car has been maligned as having reliability issues due to IMS issues and bore scoring. From what I can gather, bore scoring occurs from improper maintenance and driving beyond 7200 rpm. Maybe I am wrong as I am no mechanic--far from it. If you know the car has a good history as did mine, with one owner and regular oil changes and dealer inspections, it is hard to go wrong. I did a PPI with an independent mechanic and as far as he could see past the spark plugs he found no issues and no leaks or evidence of same on the underside. Every time I drive this car I have a smile on my face. What is that worth?

Tim was great. Took extensive time to explain EVERYTHING to us and no pressure, even when we left for a few hours to check other dealers. Nothing compared with the deal we got there, but most of all, it was a pleasure dealing with Tim who explained all the differences between models, factory warranty vs. extended warranty and much more. Even after the sale, he practically insisted upon helping us get my son's phone Bluetooth synched with the car, so he could make hands-free calls safely. I bought a 2006 Cayman S three years ago. After I test drove it I was sold. I had been rear ended in my 2000 Toyota. After a few days the battery went out and my wife came to jump me off. Bought anew batter. A few weeks later fluid was leaking. I was pleased it was just the water pump. It seems people who buy this car and don’t use it have water pump problems. Eventually new brakes and a tune up. Runs like a jewel. I could not have fully appreciated this car at a younger age. Yes, it is an attention getter. I am quick to let people know it is a 2006 model. I think that keeps me grounded that I am not a helluva fellow because I own a Porsche. Oh yeah, eventually got new tires even after being told I could wait.

I am a long distance customer that happened upon the perfect car after a long search. If you can afford this beast, you will fall in love in no time at all! It's fast, handles like a true sports car, and turns heads like you wouldn't believe (regardless if whether you're into that sort of thing or not). Positives: it's a (rare) manual, it's low and sleek, it's luxurious, it has two trunks (one of them a frunk), and you won't see many GT4's out on the road. Negatives: it's really low to the ground making it hard to get in and out of, it's quite expensive (mine was $135K used), the trunks are small (ie. it doesn't carry much), the gas mileage is mediocre, and maintenance costs are on the higher side. For a car enthusiast, however, this car will get your juices going just thinking about taking it out for a drive!

I chose a used boxster after spending several years reviewing every roadster out there. Everyone you can think of. This car was designed by a genius Harm Lagaay. This is the car that saved Porsche. I know why, design, engineering, fun, performance, reliabilty, every adjective you can tell how great a roadster is doesn't describe how you feel when you drive this car. It is an absolute work of art. Best sports car I ever owned.

Interior it’s bigger then you think . A lot of space for luggage. High performance car and very reliable. When you drive this car , you spent 30-35k$ but all people look and ask if you spend over 100k$ when you park your car people look at you all the time

This is exactly the car that I expected, and more beautiful in person. It meets all expectations, and the interior and driving position is perfect for long distance touring.

I have owned the car for nearly 6 yrs, and it previously was owned by the Porsche dealer's owner, so I knew it was well taken care of for the 13000 miles on it before I bought it. I have put on 62K miles and have had relatively few problems, nothing major. Normal maintenance and expenses are not cheap, but love the feel and looks of the car. Previously only owned 2 door Porsches and never thought I would buy a 4 door. Glad I got the car.

From first contact through cars.com on my used '05 Boxster to final paperwork, the experience was excellent. Zoe Hutton had the car ready for me when I arrived. Communication about pricing was direct and unambiguous, though there was a small misunderstanding with what I owed, I chalk that up to a gap in my differentiation between the estimated price and total OTD costs which were all laid out, and the OTD price was within tens of dollars of my expectation, so I'm quite happy with that. Lea Schneider helped me work that out and was again very clear and pro-actively helpful in sorting it all out. Overall, the experience was great. The car was of course ready, clean, and full of fuel on pickup. Just got a 2019 Carrera 4 GTS. Seems great so far, very fast and handles great. GTS model seems to be the best bang for the buck as far as power and options that are included

The mid-engine layout and a 3.2l Porsche flat six makes it super fun to drive. Over the 18 years of ownership my Boxter S also proved to be a extremely reliable. Can't beet this combination.

This review if for my ‘13 911 Cab(a very sweet ride); which I purchased as a two year old certified Porsche; which I just traded for a new ‘22 911S Cab, an even sweeter ride!! The only reason for the 4 for value for the money, these cars are very expensive, but for a young 78 year old guy just a great car if one can afford them.

I have always wanted a 911 Targa. I've always been inspired by the airy glass canopy in a refined and reliable sports car like the 911. I have wanted one since it was introduced. The glass canopy allows the outdoors in and provides plenty of light when driving through Mt. passes and canyons. I have been wanting to drive the famed 993 911 as well. So this opportunity gave me the best of both worlds.
