I got my Saturn Ion new back in 2007.
I got my Saturn Ion new back in 2007. I wanted an affordable black car with a manual transmission. This car has been a rock for me. I've put on new all season tires a few years back. In this past summer, 2024(158,000 miles), I had to replace the brakes. Outside of regular maintenance(oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes) that is all I have had to do! Mine is a manual transmission, which has been very helpful controlling the vehicle in the snow here in MN. I am very grateful for my Saturn and happy to share the feedback.

2009 Saturn Aura XE review
an excellent sleeper
I purchased an aura xr v6, 2009 with 65,000 miles. it is the top one, including some wireless headphones, dual Chrome exhaust with 6 speed auto with steering shifters and great sound system. this car is a joy to ride and it is well mantained, the parts are really cheap because it shares platforms with malibu/g6/impala, shocks, brakes, body, etc. it runs AMAZINGLY, doesn't save gas but for the power is a nice trade willing to make. It looks better than bmw serie 3 of those years by far and runs faster. the only bad thing is that the car is limited to 115 mph, the competition the top is after 140mph. just that's it. excellent ride

I had a 2011 f-150 ecoboost which I was having problems with. The turbo was squealing and cab rust that no dealer would give me a fair price for. I bought a 2009 Aura XE in 2010 and so far I have put 200010 miles on it. Bought it used with 30000 miles. It is by far the best, most reliable car I've owned and it is still running strong. Nothing but routine maintenance. I've changed spark plugs once and I change the oil and filter every 3000-4000 miles. I've changed the wiper motor once and a sensor once. I've owned a few brand new cars but none were as good as this one. Garage kept so that may contribute to it lasting for 14 years. But it's been a great car.

2008 Saturn Vue Red Line review
Safe dependable transportation.
I have owned two 2008 Saturn Vue. First one had a accident where was hit by a pickup truck doing roughly 45 mph, in the rear. The deck behind rear seats and chasis observed the impact. No one in car was hurt. Second Vue now has 213,000 miles on it. Just replaced replaced radiator. Replaced wheel bearing, caliper, rotors and tires all way around car. Good inexpensive transportation. Engine could use more guts. But it gets you down the road.

i bought my saturn ion redline about 8 years ago private party with 84.090 orig miles for 2.500 and in real good shape,,i dont go far so im just hitting 100,000 miles on it this week,,,all ive done is regular maintenance and one tune up..its always ran great,,,fast ,,and fun to drive everything works great,,i love it and plan to keep it and hand it down to my grandson when i kick the bucket,,,,
