Better be small

Too tight to get in under the steering wheel. I am 6 foot tall and I am not overweight, very hard to get out of has a good bit of road noise and windows are small also. Shifts up & down a little too much seems confused. Has nice blue metallic paint which really can be buffed out to shine. Also extra room because the back seats fold down. Average 32 MPG if driven with MPG in mind.

This was my first Toyota purchase & first experience with Seeger Toyota. After seeing a used Tacoma on their website, I visited the lot on Sunday afternoon to make a cursory inspection. I called Monday and Kent informed me it was available & gave me a brief run down of truck history (ownership, service, etc). I made an appointment for 10am Tuesday to test drive. I was fashionably late at 10:15 on Tuesday. The truck I called about, which on Sunday had been buried among other cars on a cramped lot, was parked out front, ready to roll. How cool is that! I was introduced to salesman Doug Saunders. After chatting a bit and trading some tales, he put a plate on it, gave me some directions and sent me on a test & said see ya when you get back! I know the test drive was longer than the time it took to hammer out a fair deal with Doug. We each had a number and in very short order just met in that gray area in between. A handshake ensued! A bonus for me was they were able to handle all TTL work for an IL resident. This saved me time & extra running around. Closing out the deed with finance manger Don Norath was smooth, taking less than an hour. The icing on the cake was the assistance of Mike Kabbaz in helping me get the truck back to IL that day. All told I think 3 hours was total time involved from the moment I stepped on the lot. My observation of Seegers personnel is of total focus on the customer, as it should be. But as a customer, be reasonable and realistic in your expectations and negotiating. When buyer & seller are on the same wavelength, all transactions should be as smooth & easy as mine was. This was great experience, and one I will gladly relay when asked where I bought my Tacoma.

I use the Scion iM for commuting as I have a high performance car for fun and driving in nice weather. The iM is the perfect commuter car for me. Great features for the price, very reliable and economical both in terms of good miles per gallon and low maintenance requirements. Not the quickest car around but it’s more than adequate for commuting and will cruise at 80MPH with ease. its also very quiet inside for an economy car. I’m very happy with the car.

This testimonial is well over due! My experience started almost 15 years ago as a little kid seeing my parents come home with a new car, from Tom Pappas Toyota of course. I never understood why they???ve bought approximately 4-5 cars from Pappas until it was my turn to buy as a 18 year old teenager ready to make my first major purchase. I of course had to use Mark Garner because well, that???s who my parents trusted and referred. I bought a 2009 Scion tC, which meant no way to negotiate which meant pure pricing back then! I???ve had my ups and downs with my tc, bought her July 3, 2008. lets fast forward and talk about what seemed to me a very simple recall, regarding my car burning through a ton of oil, not good with cars but that???s the English version. I remember calling Chris Banks in a panic because my car was driving very ???rocky???. Of course he knew about the recall, told me to drive it up to so many miles so they can track the consumption per Toyota to figure out my issue. I drove away, got 1 minute away and freaked out! Called Chris and he said please come back and go from there. He was so good with keeping me calm and explaining the issues. Come to find out I almost blew a rod, what ever that meant, found out could have destroyed my engine and my car would essentially be non drivable. Chris immediately put me in a loaner and said he would look at her in more depth. Make a long story short, the oil piston recall if I???m using correct terms resulted in the damage. The damage would cost me roughly $7,000 in repairs including labor and rental. I was in no state of mind to drop that kind of money, she???s been paid off for roughly 2 years at this time. Oh and she unfortunely was not worth $7,000. This is where Kyle, Chris, myself and the Vice President which I believe was Tom Pappas son had a private conversation with how we were going to resolve this unepected surprise. Most dealerships would hand me the 1-800 number and say take it up with Toyota, because it???s a Toyota recall, not the dealerships issue. When I say this dealership went above and beyond, that would be an understatement. My out of pocket expense cost me nothing, they figured out the repair cost directly with Toyota! I remember Kyle calling me with the news and I was so happy and appreciative! They easily could have started the whole conversation with buying a new car but they didn???t. They recognized the many many years of loyalty myself and my parents had to Tom Pappas! I tell this story to a lot of people when buying/servicing their vehicle to go straight to Tom Pappas! Tom Pappas I really hope you recognize your team, I???ve never had any negative experience with any of your staff members. Do I have my go to favorites, well of course! Without those people, who knows what kind of car I???d be driving or how much debt I???d be in! As much as I???m dreading buying a new car, I just can???t listen to other people recommending dealerships and sales people to me. I laugh and smile and respond with telling them I have my people and place to buy my next car! Biggest shout out to Mark Garner who I bought my first car from, Chris banks who is always there to answer my silly odd questions and of course goes above and beyond without question, to Kyle who is service supervisor who went to battle with Toyota regarding my major car repair, to the Vice President at the time, I???m sorry I don???t recall his name, young fella who was extremely helpful as well! I was really blown away by my car buying experience at Pappas Toyota. I was in the market for at particular make and model of vehicle which Pappas had on their lot. Mark Garner was great to work with. He was very responsive through text message, phone and email. Mark was also very honest/ up-front with me about where Pappas was on price. The experience was quite pleasant and I never once had the sense that number games were being played with me as I have experienced in other St. Louis area dealerships with whom I had been working while I was looking for my vehicle. That aspect of the experience was perhaps the most refreshing. Given the distance of my home from the dealership, much of my discussions with Mark took place before I set foot on the lot. Mark made it very easy for me throughout. After we reached an agreement on price and I provided a deposit, I came to Pappas to test drive before I completed the purchase. Mark had the vehicle started, warmed up (it was a very cold morning and ready to go. Again, Mark was very professional throughout the entire experience. Then, I dealt with Nick Yuede, the Pappas Finance Manager who was equally professional and made the financing part of the experience painless explaining to me all of my options. Again I was extremely happy with this level of service. Although the vehicle I purchased was not a Toyota, I do drive a Toyota Sienna and I definitely plan to return to Pappas when I am looking for my next Toyota even though there are two other Toyota dealerships closer to my home. Again, I can't say enough about the overall experience at Pappas. I had been looking/ shopping for my car for some time and been in quite a few dealerships and was frankly tired of the more typical car dealer experience which I did not at all get in my dealings with Mark Garner & Nick Yuede at Pappas. Keep up the great work!

New car shopping a picked up a 2019 Toyota Yaris (scion ia). Let me just say this car is an absolute blast. This car is extremely light and being it only makes 106 hp, you don’t really notice unless you come up to a hill. Very zippy around town, and high speed handling is phenomenal on the highway. Fuel mileage is outrageous! I average between 42-44 mpg with the 6 spd manual. Interior is very well laid out, the materials look and feel much higher quality than any of the other sub compacts. Pretty much every option is standard, and the sound system jams out! My only complaint is I’m 6’0 and it takes a bit to get comfortable. Other than that, you cannot beat it and I don’t think there is any other new car out there for less than $20 grand that can beat this thing!!!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

One of the most fun to drive and reliable cars you will find. Nice engine and decent performance for the money makes this an amazing value. Driver and front passenger positions are very comfortable with a surprising amount of leg room for the rear passengers as well, especially considering this is a two door coupe. Headroom is a little tight if the rear passengers are taller than 6' though, so be sure to check that out before purchasing if that could be a potential issue.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

I have driven or owned many different cars in my 87 years . My dad owned lots of cars from a 36 chevy 4 dr sedan to Crosley (probably the first small car in the U.S.) not to mention various pickup trucks! My first car was a '53 MG TD, my emotional favorite. Ever since day one, this car has amazed me. It is not a muscle car. It is more. It is a performance car that builds driver confidence. I could be foolish and say it could use more power but that would be illogical considering the average road conditions where 0-60 in 3 seconds is meaningless from both a safety and fuel consumption perspective. It's fine the way it is 0-60 in about 6 seconds. It is relentless through back road curves and turns not to mention its svelte design that women just love, if that is even important. Buy this car. It will not disappoint.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. Reliable and fuel efficient but that’s about it... Nice for a summer car, but not really designed to tolerate bad weather and rough roads- I just can’t see this car surviving too many more of these Massachusetts winters, and I just financed it in December 2018!!

I could not believe how easy - and fast - buying a car could be. I decided a used car was for me, so I started looking online and at local dealerships. All I can say is that that experience was enough to put me off the whole process. Dealer add-ons. Limited or no warranty. ???What are you willing to pay???? Enough!!! I saw an ad online for Carvana, which I had never heard of, and thought ???what the heck.??? Such a great find! From the quick and easy search, to no haggle pricing, to easy payment (I was able to pay cash online, but they also offer financing), to a no-risk 7-day return policy AND an additional 100-day warranty on top of that! There was nothing to lose. It took only a few days for delivery - to my home! - and the paperwork was handled in about 5 minutes. They even had a notary show up! They handle the registration, too - no waiting in line at DMV. Bottom line: I love the car, I got it at a good price, and it could not have been easier. Actually, it???s scary how easy it was. I have to stop myself from looking more on he Carvana website, lol.

The Scion IQ is a fun little city car that feels just fine on the open road at 80 plus mph. The 94 horsepower engine is only doing 3000 rpm at 70 mph. And it fits in my garage leaving space for my two motorcycles and my wife's car. It will make a you turn into the first lane with ease. And remember it is a Toyota.

This is a bit of a story, so I apologize in advance. My wife had recently got into an auto accident, and her car was totaled. We wanted to get a new car that could be big enough for our family of 4 and a dog. We finally decided on the Toyota Highlander (hybrid), as my wife prefers fuel efficient vehicles. Getting a new car, you strive to get exactly what you want. We wanted either a blue or red color, one that would be within our budget. Believe it or not, that car is truly hard to find, even in the large state of Texas, where we live. The only compatible vehicle that met our needs was at Seeger Toyota in St. Louis, a good 13 hr drive away. To my great fortune, I called and was lucky enough to speak with John Gilliam. Mind you, my wife and I are individuals with high expectations, and they are not usually met. Not only did John exceed our expectations, he went above and beyond for our car buying experience. He was extremely friendly, very professional, and happily offered to pick me up from the airport when I flew in (he was quite prompt, even when my flight came in early). I also might add, that we had agreed to buy the car on a Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, a hail storm blew in that night, and damaged our vehicle a bit. I kid you not, John had already ordered replacement parts for the damage, and promised all would be fixed before I arrived on Saturday morning. Sure enough, he kept his word. What a turnaround on service!!! Upon my arrival to Seeger Toyota, I felt as if I had been there already, and knew John on a personal level. He knew all about my vehicle, gave me a quick and optimized tour of everything, and was really knowledgeable of the features. Knowing that I had a long drive home back to Texas, John had me in and out of the dealership within 1 1/2 hours and I was on the road. This was single handily, THE BEST car buying experience I will probably ever have in my life. I could not have been more pleased with this place, and I wish I didn???t live all the way in Texas, as I would absolutely make this location my go-to car dealership. I can???t say enough about John Gilliam and how incredibly personable he was throughout our entire endeavor. Seeger Toyota understands the car seeking business, and has set the bar for all, and will be very difficult to beat. Thank you all so much, as we couldn???t be happier with our purchase!

Wow what an outstanding leasing experience my husband and I had with Scott and Larry. From the first phone call that our new vehicle was in at the Hampton loaction. To driving our SUV off the parking lot was so easy and not stressful at all. Some much to learn because of all the fun features, but Larry had such an excitement teaching us it made the learning fun and easy. Larry was very patient and didn't mind repeating himself for both of us to practice. We could have stayed all day with him and he won't have minded at all. He was like a school kid with a new game. The excitement from him was so contagious. I know from this experience that we are hooked line and sinker to this dealership now with these professional employees with the patience of angels.

This vehicle is my very first car that I own. Currently going to college, and this car is very reliable and cheap to own. Does great in gas, very sporty, and best of all, very fun to drive. It came with interior lighting, dual-pane sunroof, and a powerful 160hp 2.4L fuel-saving engine. Although Scion is a defunct brand from Toyota as this point, still recommend this car for any driving enthusiasts out there. Since it's a branch under Toyota, it is one of the most reliable car out there.

We bought a 2012 Honda CR-V LX with 16,671 miles recently. The entire experience was first rate: From searching online for the right vehicle (price, features, condition) to the buying experience and through delivery. Everything was accurate and straight forward. Our new car met all expectations when delivered: Clean. No apparent defects.The items listed as imperfections were barely perceptible. Our test drive before accepting the car was flawless. Our delivery person was friendly, professional and informative. After delivery, I took our new car to our long-time trusted mechanic for an in-depth inspection. He was impressed with all aspects of our new car. His only comments were associated with (1) light under-body rust and original equipment tires with few miles, plenty of tread, in good condition but six years old. All manuals, one full feature key, and one valet key were provided. (Two full feature keys would have been nice.) Documentation of Carvana's 150 point inspection was not provided. This, too, would have been a nice addition to complete the sale documentation. All-in-all, close to a perfect buying experience! So much so that I'm looking forward to purchasing another vehicle from Carvana in the near future.
