We absolutely love our two Smart electrics. Virtually maintenance free, charge it up in the garage overnight. Bet we do 98% of our driving in them. Range is only 75 miles or so on a full charge, so that makes it tough for long trips, but around town they are perfect.

The owner, GM and Michael Faina all dealt with me with integrity and honesty. It?s a rough time right now for auto sales and they went out of their way to take great care of me in buying my first truck.

This is my 4th Electric Car. It has limitations (no fast charging), but it also is fun to drive and has a lot of storage places inside...seriously. I used to have a LEAF and still have a BMW I3, Tesla Model X and this in the garage. The ED is my go to for quick around town drives. Yes it takes 3 hours to charge if empty...but I knew that going in...and have never come home empty in any of the EVs.

I own two, one gas, one electric. Iam 6'3" and fit very comfortable in both. Excellent gas milage and about 70 miles per charge. Very inexpensive to repair and a very safe car ( titanium fram).

Love the stop on a dime ability. Safety is the best car tested, it bounces off other car's and wall! Be sure to wear seat belts. I'm concerned if when I get into the car will it have enough battery power? Price right with low mileage. I dropped my insurance coverage since my head gasket blew which most dealerships will not let me take car on freeway and tole way. Is this an excuse not to let me drive it on freeway since I have perfect driving record? Where can I take this car on a test drive with perfect driving record TX Driver license?

Bought the car because it fits in my RV. Its a cabriolet so tooling around with the top down electrically fun. High price but offset with $7500 credit from the government. Mercedes quality. Cons: More range....does not have enough range to make it to the dealer without trailering.

When I decided I wanted an electric vehicle, I set out to do my due diligence.  After months of research, I had a list of 5 cars.  The Polestar 2 was third on the list.  Truth be told, my top two choices have not arrived in the US, and I am in need of a car come summer, so I went for a Polestar 2 test drive.  I really liked this car on paper, but we know how that works sometimes.  Still, I went into the test drive with excitement.  The car actually exceeded my expectations.  But I will write a review of the actual vehicle once I take delivery this summer.  I opted for the Plus Pack, the ventilated Napa leather seats, and the Pilot Pack.  I'll let the readers of this review research the Performance Pack and decide if it is for you.  What I wanted to review more than anything else is the excellent test drive experience I had thanks to Nick Olson.  Nick is very knowledgeable and his customer service skills are second to none. He explained, in great detail, every aspect of the car inside and out before the test drive. While I was driving, he answered all my questions thoroughly and honestly. After the drive, we went over the specifics of the cost and I decided to order the car. As I was leaving, I asked him for a business card. I was shocked when he stated he doesn’t have one yet because he is new to the company, and he’s not a salesman yet and only does the test drives. Nick is not a salesman?? What??!! Then Polestar needs to promote him to salesman right away! He is phenomenal. He was articulate, professional, and funny. The best thing was that he did not pressure me to buy anything that I did not want. Polestar needs to hang on to this guy and promote him up the ladder, for I have a feeling no matter what he does professionally, he will excel. Thanks Nick! You were awesome! Really, the best value in a car I have ever experienced (Value = Performance divided by cost)! Did you know that both the cost of the 2016 Smart ForTwo Electric and beefed up home charger have tax credits to offset about 25% purchase price? Did you know that you do not have to purchase the internal battery or maintain it because you can just rent that battery? By the way, that means you save a few thousand in your initial purchase price. The cockpit is surprisingly roomy, get in one to convince yourself! We go where ever we want in town, without worries at minimal cost. I'll bet you can not find a new Smart ForTwo Electric to buy, We were told that Mercedes Benz loses $ with every purchase.

live in a adult community & had a golf cart to get around. we live about 15 miles to nearest shopping & dr. couldn't get that far in cart & put a lot of miles & gas into car so bought this smart4-2 coupe & it is great. will keep up with the big cars & is so smooth & a pleasure 2 drive. it also has most of the luxury's in my big car. installed a 220 v charger & now completes a charge in 4 hr or less. my down side is I have 2 travel a long distance 2 have it serviced when needed & wish others could service besides M- Bz or all M-Bz would service.
