First time buyer with Ralph’s for a used car. Ralph met me personally at dealership, negotiated a fair price for the car, and is currently making all necessary safety repairs before I pick up car. Tammi took care of all tax, title, registration , and MA State Inspection.

This is my 2nd one, 1st was used for a 150 mile + a day 5 day week commute to the DC area. It's in it's element for local driving, parking, mpg, fun to drive(especially with convertible). If you install a Scan Gauge and use the manual paddle shifters, mid 50 mpg is easy. Interstate driving keeps the mpg to around 42 +. 1st one had some issues, but incompetent mechanics were most of the problems. Replacement a/c hoses run $1200 each (2)does require Premium fuel, I alternated between mid & prem. each tank on the 1st. one. Get an extended warranty, any major repairs may have to be done by MB dealer.

We were visiting from out of town when our car started having issues. With no appointment, we stopped by the Kia dealership and were lucky enough to be helped by Tracy. She went above and beyond to get us in quickly, and within just a couple of hours, we were back on the road. I have a 2016 and I an 6’ 4” my wife is 5’ and we are both 70. We use it every day and we live in a retirement community. We can park it right beside the golf carts. It is fun to drive with good gas mileage. It is not our trip car for sure but it takes up very little space up in our garage. It feels like a regular car once you are driving it . In fact it feels like a sport car. I don’t get out of a regular car very well but this is almost like a SUV to get out of. Our other car is a Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige . When we go from the Smart to the GV70 you think you are in a Bentley! The 3 cylinder vibrates or shakes (not crazy)through the first 5 mph but after that it is fine. It is not a car for everyone but for us it is the cat’s meow. We use it every day while the GV70 goes weeks without moving.

No pressure, cars looked great, loved Pierre heroldson very knowledgeable, helpful. I've decided when I buy my car it will be at carmax. Only thing I don't like is paying for transferring car.

It was my old cars time to go (Gloria) at work my coworker brought up CarMax as he just got a new pickup truck from them. My partner and I scheduled an appointment for a viewing Wednesday the 6th. This has been a great vehicle for the last 6 years. It saves a lot of space in the garage, it's fun to drive with the manual transmission, and it stands out amongst all of the other cars on the road. It is a perfect fit for the beach town that I reside in. I have also driven it on long road trips and it was completely comfortable and capable. Personality and unique details seem to be difficult to find in most new vehicles today. I am grateful to own "compact, forward thinking" transportation that never gets boring and continues to turn heads.

A good car to get in and out of work for a short distance. However, it is a pity that fast charging is not possible.

A well rated car after the generally negative review above. I have been driving them for over two years now and just love their road character whether in the city or on long trips. I have also learned that they are tough little cars and very reliable along with great NHS crash results, way better that the average. We are past the era of driving half acre size cars !

I love this car! It's my second smart, only this one is a convertible. It's fun to drive, cute and turns heads. The convertible top is easy to use by one person. People stop me in parking lots all the time to ask about it and to take photos. Shifting is a little rough in the lower gears, but man, will she go. I've had her up to 90mph a few times without protest from the engine. I can comfortably pass slower traffic. You get a bit of road noise at high speeds. I bought the car 900 miles from home, and really enjoyed the trip back. A small seat cushion is a good idea on long drives, but she's perfectly comfortable around town. I can park nearly anywhere, a big plus in big city parking garages and on the street. A big thumbs up for the Smart Fortwo!

We absolutely love our two Smart electrics. Virtually maintenance free, charge it up in the garage overnight. Bet we do 98% of our driving in them. Range is only 75 miles or so on a full charge, so that makes it tough for long trips, but around town they are perfect.

This is my third Smart electric. I leased a 2013 and a 2016 electric (if I bought either, I would have had to continue leasing the battery, which didn't make sense for me). I leased a 2019 electric and, since they've stopped selling the Smart in the US, I've decided to buy this one (which comes with the battery - yay!). I love the Smart for its utter cuteness and tininess. It has like a zero degree turning radius, and I'm able to zip in and out of anywhere. It's perfect for my needs, as I tend to do mostly local driving, and I occasionally take it on the freeway if the drive isn't too long. With regenerative braking, I usually get at least 80 miles with each full charge. The only issues I've had with this car are (1) when I first picked it up, it died on me within the first week, and it took the dealer 28 days to reboot and fix everything, and (2) the cup holders aren't adjustable, so my big water bottle doesn't fit (my other Smarts had adjustable holders, so why did they change this?). After driving Smarts for 9 years, I can't really drive other cars -- they all seem so huge and cumbersome. But for longer drives, I do borrow my husband's EV, which has a longer range. I did consider at some point getting a Fiat electric and test-drove one, but it just wasn't as cute as the Smart. Its adorableness makes me happy every time I come out of a building and see it waiting for me. Even after driving it for 3 years, its cuteness still sometimes takes me by surprise!

I always get its so small. I bought this car just to drive to and from work after totaling my Subaru. I pay about 23 bucks for gas in the state of WA. I bought it preowned for 5,000 after taxes 7,400 with 25,000 miles on it. It's pretty good when driving. I won't lie, I'm a speed demon and this little car goes 90 mph. When its windy that's when the driving gets a little crazy. Maintenance for the car cost me about 500 bucks for two new tires and an alignment. The inside of the car is good. I usually use the passenger seat for my dog when we go to the park cause my husband would die if he was seen in it. The downside is I don't have a radio. But you can always install one

I have not had to buy gasoline to commute for the last five years. It is unfortunate that Smart has withdrawn from the North American car market. I have owned a 2013 Smart ED and currently have a 2017 Smart ForTwo ED Passion coupe and just picked up the 2019 Smart ForTwo EQ Prime Cabrio. These cars are fun to drive, perfect urban, and suburban commuter car. Long trips take some planning but are quite do able. Published EPA mileage is way below reality. I average 70+ Miles per charge. Best mileage achievement was 129 miles between charges.

So far it is the best car for commuting that I have ever owned. I love the green color and the design. It is nimble in traffic and fits in even the tightest parking spots.

Great little car. I sold my first one and realized I need it. Great on gas and never had any issues. Why the didn't take off on the US I will never under. I have had multiple back surgeries and can't get in and out of most cars. The Smart Car is easy to get in and out and had plenty of room inside and I am 260 pound man. I have plenty of room.

This car meets all my around town driving! It is economical, I can park anywhere, and it turns heads! Maintenance is very easy.

No comment .. I'm not ready to purchase a low used car yet. When I do I will call the dealership.. Hope you have a car like a 2019 Audi A3 AWD 2.0T

This is my 4th Electric Car. It has limitations (no fast charging), but it also is fun to drive and has a lot of storage places inside...seriously. I used to have a LEAF and still have a BMW I3, Tesla Model X and this in the garage. The ED is my go to for quick around town drives. Yes it takes 3 hours to charge if empty...but I knew that going in...and have never come home empty in any of the EVs.

When looking for a reasonably priced used cars I was so excited when I ran across 518 Auto Sales and the large selection of cars they had!!! The staff including Alex, Wendy, Kyle and Scott were awesome and made me feel right at home!! I will spread the word about this place!!!

I have owned this car 2008 smart for 3 years and it work great some minor issues like engine light that was just gas cap and heater whlch i removed and cleaned. i live where it is cold and it will start in really cold weather most of the time. Got good tires and winter driving is good. With more attention this car would sell better in canada and states. would not part with it .

Love these guys I bought a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class GL 450 4MATIC AWD 4dr SUV came how they described no problem and they delivered quickly all within a matter of days. Buy a car from these guys they were pretty transparent and kept it 💯 with us. I will recommend all my people's here...!!!!! P.s even took the car to a known place to uncharge on work and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. Of course I purchased a warranty which they also gave me a great deal on. I use this car for business purposes. I drive about 1500 miles per month. I live in Colorado so it?s cold in the winter. I get approximately 42 miles to the gallon in the winter and about 38 in the summer because of the air conditioning. This is definitely not a luxury vehicle but it?s really not bad especially for the price. It has a great turning radius. There is a lot more room inside then you would expect. It has a very tight suspension so you are very aware of every bump that you hit. It also has a 70 hp engine so if you expect to get from 0 to 60 in anything less than five minutes this probably isn?t the car for you. However, I have never had any issues with the car and is very reliable. I have put approximately 40,000 miles on it since I got it and it currently has 60,000. My biggest complaint with the car is that rattles regularly, like something is loose but I cannot figure out what it is. It is worth mentioning that this used to be a ?Car to Go? and who knows what they did to it to fit it for their credit card charging systems, so this may be their fault. You can hear road noise quite a bit in this car. I love the fact that it is little and you can park it anywhere. You could make a U-turn basically anywhere. It does not go well in the snow so if you live in a snowy climate you might consider something else unless you have a winter vehicle.
