New and used 2025 Subaru Ascent for sale near Princeton Junction, NJ

There was an issue with the original order that I placed but the team at Haldeman Ford found a resolution. The General Manager ( George Abel) and Sales team ( Brandon Z and Kevin) stepped up and delivered ( above and beyond). No one is perfect . The way they took ownership and handled the issue at hand leads me to recommend this dealership without reservation. i would go back for my servicing needs and if I do need another vehicle.

This is one of the best cars I have ever driven, and at 82, having driven for sixty four years, I have owned or leased one of almost everything. Subaru, in my opinion, is the best product there is. My dealership in Tucson is an award winning find, and now that this is my fourth Dubsru in thevv CB last six years, I can truly say I have found a great car.

We bought this because of the great experience that we have had with a 2020 Forester Touring and expect this car to be solid reliable as well. BUT - I am on my second example of this vehicle, in Onyx Touring trim, because the first one delivered to me had a serious internal engine defect that was causing a plume of oil smoke occasionally at startup. Subaru finally decided after a month that they would replace the original vehicle. This defect is not typical, as far as I can tell. Aside from that, the acceleration is quite good, even though the throttle is very touchy at take off. By the way, you CAN get 20 mpg or so out of it if you are careful, but expect only about 18.5 miles to the gallon on average if you have a heavy foot, because spooling up the turbo makes it suck fuel like a dragster. The car has a quality feel to it and is comfortable and quiet. The digital rearview mirror is a plus if you carry a lot of cargo because it displays the rear camera image instead of a convention mirror. The front seats are very supportive and have a lumbar support with both vertical and depth adjustment. The rear captain seats are excellent. The Ascent couples the Driver Monitoring System with the Lane Centering System, which will cause disabling of lane centering if the Driver Monitor System fails to recognize a driver. This is the only real irritation that I have with the driver assist functions. To be frank, I have seen more features on other vehicles in this price class, like, specifically, power folding third row seats and power steering column adjustments, which aren't even available on an Ascent, but overlooked that in favor of the expected durability. Since we already own the 2020 Forester, we have become accustomed to the Subaru quirks, like a poor user interface for the infotainment system, which we bypass by using Apple Car Play, and the persistent seatbelt alarms that are somewhat akin to riding around with an overprotective mother, but there are ways around that. Be aware that the oil change interval for the 2.5 litre turbo engine is only 6000 miles and Subaru recommends synthetic motor oil as well, so maintenance costs will probably be higher than other vehicles.

Erica from Miller sales beat every dealers out the door price on a new truck and then told me she could beat my credit unions rate. She did by 2.5% and the manager gave me an extra 1000 off for financing through Ford AFTER I was approved at a lower rate. True sales lady that cuts through all the unwanted salesman tactics. Erica knows her job and is supported by an honest manager. Best car buying experience in 20 years and I buy a new vehicle every two years. Finding a service dept that is just as great was the icing on the cake. Mark had my truck prepped exactly as I asked when had my first service done. Miller w Erica has my family's Ford buisness from now on.

Was very straight forward. Only thing is I would have liked to take the car out for a test drive at highway speed before we bought it-they didn't give us that opportunity.

Kyle provided an excellent assessment of the service needed, communicated those needs clearly, as well as accurate timelines for service completion. Kyle was able to provide a loaner vehicle for my use which enabled me to carry out my day's activities. I came across this dealership, Automotive Avenues, by chance and I am so glad that I did! I was looking at different cars on their website, but it honestly looked like it was "too good to be true" price wise for the cars that they were offering. I started the process with Anthony, who is in the online sales. He was so responsive and right to the point. He was communicating with me even on a Sunday when the store was closed! I was still not convinced and I thought there had to be more to it. He was very clear about the "No haggle" policy, which I love, and told me specifically what fees they charge. I decided to drive from Harrisburg, PA (3.5 hour drive) based on all the information that I had. I was looking at FOUR different cars that they had. They were kind enough to offer to hold one of them for me. It is not what they normally do, but they gave me an exception till I got there, since I had a long drive. Once I got there, I was amazed by how busy the place was on a Monday afternoon and how many beautiful cars they actually had on their lots! I was greeted by Charlie Jackson, one of their 22 sales people. He introduced himself, asked me if I was working with anyone. I told him that I've only spoken to the online sales, but I had an appointment for 5:30. He took me inside to check in, asked me if I wanted water or coffee then took me to his desk where we sat and discussed each one of the 4 cars in details including their Carfax and any other information that the dealership had to share with me. He was very patient and knowledgeable! After that, he brought the cars to the front for me to look at and test drive (except for one because I was looking at all electric cars, and the battery was not charged in that one) so we walked to it just so I can see it in person. Once I saw all of them and test drove the 3 that I could, I decided on one ( which was so hard because I wanted to take the 4 of them home). The one that I bought was a 2022 Mercedes EQS 450+. It was like brand new with just over 1100 miles on it! It was the car that I really wanted from the beginning and I ended up getting at the end. After that, we worked out the numbers on my trade, which I was NOT very excited about because it was about $1500 less than what I got from others! I agreed to it and they started to process the transaction. They stayed with me till about 9:30 pm, way after they were supposed to close, just to accommodate me so I would not have to drive again the next day. I must say that I change cars every 6-12 months because I love cars, and (other than the trade) I've NEVER felt as good purchasing as I did this time. Thank you very much and I will be back for my next one soon. You are doing things right and it is worth the long drive for sure.
