Beautiful vehicle. Plenty of power, excellent braking. Fit and finish is outstanding. More headroom that other SUV's we drove. Right size for us, plenty of room in a midsize+ vehicle. Love the 4-wheel drive. Highly recommend.

Steve showed us everything about the car; explained why things were designed as they were; how they worked and made everything available to us, so we could make the decision - he was exceptional! This was absolutely the best car buying experience we have ever had, and a big shout out also goes to Joe and Inna in the Business Office. Clear, informative, helpful - we went with the idea of “looking” - not the first dealership we had tried - but it is now our go-to! I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

Previous car- Subaru Forester 2015- 154,000 miles. Owned it for 10 years. Excellent car. After test driving 22 vehicles of 10 different models from 7 dealerships, I happily purchased a 2025 Subaru Outback XT from Stateline Subaru in Somerset, MA. I worked with Lauren Silva. She knows the Subaru product. She was intuitive to my needs in a car. Initially, I thought the driver seat was going to be too low but was pleasantly surprised at the newly designed seat- comfortable and supportive. Also, Lauren has just the right balance of enthusiasm and grace throughout the sales process. She gave me time to think; I did not feel hustled. Thank you to the managerial team at Stateline Subaru- Roger, Jerome, and Joe. They were very fair and have created an atmosphere that is down-to-earth and respectful.

This is my 4th Subaru and my 2nd Ascent. Overall it is a superb vehicle with minor issues in my view. The Driver Monitoring function is basically annoying. Either it disables itself or doesn’t alert at all (I’m always wearing sunglasses). The infotainment screen, at boot up, is agonizingly slow with some improvement after a couple of minutes. I assume that it is a processor issue. The front camera switch is in an awkward position (on the center console). It should be on the steering wheel or an icon on the screen. Acceleration is very good, brakes and steering as well. It is very quiet. Visibility is outstanding. All of the safety features are major pluses. Seats are very comfortable.
