I have a 2003 Baja - bought and maintained its whole life by Stivers Dealership. Most amazing car ever made and I’ll keep it til it dies!! Only has 107k miles. Great in snow and/or rain - preferred its safety over my Rubicon. It’s not depreciating in my book!

George was amazing, despite me calling after hours he answered and provided me all the information I asked for. On the day of, he checked in and made sure everything was right. This is a used/salvaged car lot, do not expect to find a clean car here, the cars will all need some for of work, the trade off is you will find amazing deals if your willing to put in the TLC.

Own this since 2009 had 80000 on it. With regular maintenance and recommended timing gear replacement and a few other thing typical to wear and tear I now have 243000 miles no rust and still runs great drive everyday. Told the wife I’ll never buy another car I love my Subaru Baja.

I bought my Baja in 2003. I now have about 130,000 miles on it and have never had any major problems with it. Yes I've had to.replace a water pump, an alternator, and the spark plugs (once). I've used synthetic oil since day one and only had it tuned up twice. The last tuneup was really because I didn't think it was running quiet right, so I asked for the plugs to be replaced. Mechanic said they didn't need to be replaced, but I insisted. He was right. It is in need of a paint job, but I think it is still one of the best looking cars on the road today and I think it rides as comfortably as it did when purchased. Still proud to drive it!

Perfect for hauling 3 mountain bikes, hiking and rock climbing gear. Pros: Love funky and cultish outside styling and functionality. Seats four comfortably, awesome, fun, cool, head turner. Have 150 miles logged. Expect to double, low repair costs, low cost of ownership, AWD, simple and quality build. Cons: reliability not at Porsche or Honda level, non-turbo version way underpowered/ slow 0-60 and passing, wide turning radius.

BY far, this is the greatest vehicle I've ever owned. It's a high performance turbo sports car, yet also a highly convenient and practical SUV with the AWD, high clearance, rear seat declining, back bed extension, and rear rabbit hole features.

I went to Grote while in a terrible divorce and was able to trade in my rust bucket for a sports car! The sales guy Kenneth brandle helped get me out of losing situation and now I’m bragging to my ex about it haha, thank you so much Kenneth!!

This a great car that does alot of things well. Never let me down. Use it as daily driver and weekend getaway car. We go kayaking alot and hiking. Gets us where we want to go in all weather conditions. More importantly, gets us home safe all the time. Too bad that Subaru discontinued the Baja. I wish I could get a new one.

The General Manager Steve checked into the situation I had about a recall alternator and Steve was able to fix my situation. Come to find out it was all a misunderstanding. The car is half car half truck. Very very hard to find one, people who bought them hang on to them for a long time. Parts are well within budget and are easy to find, so maintenance is a breeze.

Great service and communication. Have a decent size inventory, you can definitely find the vehicle you’re looking for. I settled for a 2008 Ford F350 King Ranch. Beautiful frame and sound engine and transmission. Claudia was very helpful and very knowledgeable with financing. I left the dealership an hour later with a beautiful truck. Recommend!

I bought a 2003(first year edition) while stationed in Hawaii...what a good value! To date-2000, it's still running strong at 240,000 miles. I changed the air flow intake early on a short ram intake, gave the 2.5 non-turbo engine much needed power and acceleration. Changed the stock muffler to flow-master exhaust...love the throaty sound of the boxer engine. As for general maintenance...brakes, oil changes, shocks/struts, radiator, tires, battery and that's it! Alternator, starter, rack and pinion, no electrical, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, air conditioning, or cabin problems...buy one...and you won't ever sell it!

I just helped a very dear senior friend of mine buy a car here, Subaru Outback Limited and explained to the salesman (Dan) that this transaction had to go very smooth without stress as I was out of state so my help was coming both to my friend and the dealership via phone and e-mail. I have to say that not only did they have the perfect car for my friend Cathy, but we were able to do 90% of the transaction prior to Cathy ever getting to the dealership. When Cathy arrived, her new car was all ready, they took in her trade, she signed docks and she was out the door and on her way back home in only about an hour! Didn't expect to downsize , but did it out of need. This car surprised me. Easy to drive, it handles very well and feels solid. Good gas milage too. The interior is comfortable too even though is small. Trunk is a good size, not crazy about the separate key. Overall happy with my purchase.
