I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

I bought my 2009 forester with 200k on the click. She was well locked after but has a few scratches here and there but paint work is still beautiful. Performance is great but she is heavy on fuel. This is expected from an AWD as the engine is pulling all 4 wheels continuously at the same time. No oil leaks, aircon works well. The only major issue I have had was the thermostat falling. I caused my radiator to crack due to pressure building up. I removed it and she is running perfectly. I live at the coast in South africa so our winter temp never drop below 10° and our summer average at 30°. Overall, I'll will be buying another forester with it's great space and power....love it

This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

Bought a few vehicles from B&B, can’t write anything negative about my experience either time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to others. They will go above and beyond to help you. A few weeks after I purchased a car, a check engine light came on, (loose wire) they took care of it promptly on the spot. The light never came back on.

This is a follow up review, I did have to change the head gaskets out on my 2010 forester. I've seen this is common, once again, the work is able to be done by a DIY mechanic. Since 2020 Ive had to change the ignition coil, spark plug wires, head gaskets in February of 2024, and also the crankshaft position sensor. The car had 165,000 miles when the head gaskets needed changed. So far it has 173,000 miles and still runs well. Also changed were the clutch and throwout beairng, and another timing belt change. It still runs very well, the exhaust is getting rusty and have had to fix that, overall its been a good car. I've owned it for 12 years and the ability to work on it yourself is what I really like about it, it isn't fast, but its quite utilitarian and my dog loves it as well. So if you don't mind working on your own stuff its one of the easiest cars to work on with the way the engine is oriented in the longitudinal position. I've always changed the oil every 4-5000 miles since I've had it, the heads and valves were completely clean. I'd say if one keeps up the servicing on these they are good vehicles to own. Not looking forward to when it blows, they don't make plain cars like this now adays.

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

I was impressed how well I can see out of the car at all angles. It is difficult for me to turn my body due to neck, hip and back problems. I am 5'10" and have very long legs. This car also has alot of head and leg room. My daughter rides comfortably in her booster seat in the middle seat. I feel I have more control and better handling with this car then any other. I have had a Honda Accord, Volvo XC90, Toyota Corolla and Cadillac Deville in recent years. My only complaint is the front seats are uncomfortable. (My other car is a Deville which feels like a recliner.) There isn't anything fancy about the car but I just have the base model. I am happy with all the features and the gas mileage is awesome. There is a ton on truck space.

I've had three other Subarus and this one is my favorite. One of the best parts about this car is how spacious it feels inside. The tall roof combined with the panoramic sunroof bring the outside in and make for a happy drive. It also has the famous Subaru boxer engine and AWD. Road noise is a bit louder than competitors, but that's ok to me because it makes the ride more fun. Also like the Eyesight suite of safety features. It adds a level of confidence to my commute. It also holds a lot of cargo when it needs to do it.

Found a great car listed on Cars.com. Called to confirm that the vehicle was still available and was able to make an appointment to see it a few hours later with Anthony C. The buying process was straightforward, didn't have to play games. Anthony was knowledgeable and went out of his way to make us comfortable. We live quite far from the dealership but would be happy to go again if we needed.

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. I ended up getting a 2019 subaru forester. Lots of room and a perfect vehicle into the middle of my adult life. I hope this car lasts me through the next few years. I had a great experience from start to finish with Justin and the staff. I did not have a car to get there but seen a 07 Yukon Denali on the website with no pictures yet. I spoke to Justin and he explained they just got it in and they did not take pictures yet. Justin took pictures and videos of the whole truck. He even went under the car for video and pics of the undercarriage. I been looking for a car for a little over a month and the bait and switch the dealers did was not fair. 101 motors not only understood what I was looking for but they did not try and make me feel uncomfortable by showing me cars I could not afford. I dealt with Justin as a salesman and Joshua the manager in finance and I could not be happier with the service I received. If anyone asks me where to look for a car I will tell them to go to 101 motors because they know how to treat their customers. I cannot thank Justin and Joshua enough because the nightmare of not having a car for over a month is finally over.

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

I’ve driven the Forester before and have been wanting one for two years. So now that it was time for me to give up my 2010 Legacy with 222,000 miles on it, I chose the Forester. The dealer is very customer friendly and very competitive in their pricing, even though I paid 25K plus for a four year old car…vestiges of the used car pandemic pricing. The car drives beautifully, smooth and quiet. I am very happy with my purchase.

Very reliable for the 2010 2.5 limited I bought used in 2023 with 196k miles. very sporty feel and look, quick response and the automatic was quiet even when pushed, acceleration on the base engine was awesome and driving was lots of fun. the leather seats are incredible although the lack of dual zone as an option was disappointing. The brakes were somewhat uninspiring but got the job done, and the steering feel and moonroof were awesome. Gas mileage is decent even in 2024 but was somewhat low in comparison to the 2010 outback at 22 city and 27 highway, at 17 city and 21 highwayI for the forester 2010 . I got in a high speed accident and cabin intrusion was non existent and all occupants got out uninjured. Best car I've ever had, would buy over any other Subaru new or used.

The service department is always excellent. Even though I did not purchase my new vehicle at this location in 2022 (not by choice, but because inventory of new vehicles of my preferred model was very scarce at the time) they still offer all the benefits of the warranty and extended service plans I signed up for during my purchase elsewhere - making for great Toyota brand loyalty. I work closer to this dealership than the one I purchased from, so it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy working with this dealership right from my first visit. I especially appreciate the shuttle service they offer to take me home and back when there is going to be a long service procedure. Also, I have a choice to schedule online or by phone, and I like having both options. Finally, the explanatory videos taken by the technicians when they have finished the job are great to have both at the time, and later at home when I want to review and fully understand what they said once more.

Had this car for seven years, never any problems, very low mileage. Very nice to drive, smooth gas mileage around 30 mpg. Traded it in for a new forester, I actually was ready to cry, when I left it. Very reliable.

The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

Love my Forester only drawback is the tires are made of a soft compound and you only get 25k miles then they need to be replaced.

Can't say enough about Kyle and the overall experience at Smythe. We had just come off a horrific experience at another dealer (two bad experiences, actually). We were so turned off. But we found this beautiful Audi at Smythe and decided to give it another go. My wife stopped in and met Kyle. He was terrific from the start. All she did was want to see it before the two of us went back. There was no pressure, no "sales-pitch" or anything. Just a nice guy who listened to my wife and her auto buying needs. We went back that night, test drove the car, talked with Kyle (again, "talked", no pressure). He took the time to answer to every question we had and explained everything in detail. It was more of a conversation than a sales transaction. We explained what we were looking for, in terms of deal (money down, monthly payment, etc.). Kyle introduced us to Abood, helped us explain exactly what we were looking for and we were told "No problem. We hear you and will do our best. If it doesn't turn out to be the deal you are looking for, no worries, but we'll call you in the morning." Next day, my wife got the call and the deal we talked about the night before was they deal made happen. No sweat, no stress, no anxiety. We walked in later that afternoon. Car was prepped, big red bow on it, papers ready to sign, and my wife as out of there in under an hour. THANK YOU Kyle, Abood, William (our delivery specialist) and everyone at Smythe. 2018 forester 105000 miles it's smooth, quiet and very reliable it's needed nothing but a rear wheel bearing and oil changes. Has great visibility and drives really nice the gas pedal is a little touchy, and it sips gas I ave 30mph in winter and 34mph in summer

Great! It was easy and the dealer was well organized which which made the experience enjoyable.

It drives like a dream. I enjoy driving it and so does my husband. The visibility is awesome. It sticks to the ground and takes corners and curves well. It is comfortable and we have driven on several long trips with it. The drawback is storage. We had three people on one trip and with 3 suitcases, a cooler, and the sundry items you pick up, there was barely room for a passenger in the back. The ride was great even through some awful weather. Daily drive is great and I consistently get better gas mileage than on the sticker, unless my husband drives then it is worse. Lol.
