I bought this car because I was looking for a 4wd that could tow at least 3000 lbs if needed. I’ve owned this car for approx three years and I use it to drive to work and up to visit my friends in Maine. It is extremely reliable with loads of interior room for all transport needs. I highly recommend this auto.
I have been buying cars for a very long time. I have dealt with many stereotypical car guys and I have never met a sales professional like Chris Anderson! Why this guy isn’t in management somewhere I don’t know!

This car meets all of my needs. It is a dependable car with a few preferred features: AWD, heated seats, leather interior, excellent repair history , affordable .
I Love this car! I have looked for a Subaru Outback for almost 2 years and finally found the car I wanted! I have only had it a few days, but I am so happy with it already. I LOVE my heated seats, they come in handy in this cold weather. My visibility is awesome. I sit a bit higher than my last car and have no problem seeing clearly out of every window. The back-up camera comes in handy in those tight spots too! This vehicle handles like a dream! The AWD will come in handy when I am traveling for work also. I highly recommend a Subaru to anyone looking for a good, solid, reliable car.

This is my adventure car. It is great in the rain and snow and for heading to the mountain trails. The ground clearance is great for the rough mountain roads. Love it.
Emailed dealership listing what we wanted. Dealership emailed back they had it. Made a deal & purchased a Forester within an hour. First routine service completer in less than predicted time. Nice fcility. Nice people.

It met all my expectations! I absolutely love it! The ride is so comfortable for the driver and riders. The heated seats are perfect for this weather. I have nothing negative to say. I just wish I could have purchased a new one!
I am very happy with my 2014 Outback. My previous 2013 Outback saved my life when I was T-boned by a large pickup truck that ran a red light. I was able to climb out of the car and walk away but sadly the car was a total loss. I think a different car might not have been sturdy enough to protect me so well. I immediately replaced it with the same car but the newer year. I also love the comfortable seats, the smooth ride and the fun Nav features. I’m a Subaru fan for life.
I leased a new Subaru Ascent Touring, and from start to finish it was a very quick and painless process. The salesman was like a family friend, and was extremely helpful the day of the sale and in the days following. Five days after I bought the car someone hit me. Not only did the Subaru Ascent protect me and my passenger (no injuries), but the salesman offered to look at the car for me to see if it was safe to drive. When I took the car to the dealership, multiple staff members came out to look and talk with me and my husband, ask if we were ok, and give us their suggestions for the best body shop to use. They even gave us the info for the body shop THEY used for all of their Subarus on the lot for any work needed, and told us who to ask for. They worked with our USAA agent when she was unable to get an estimate (car was so new, parts weren’t in the system) - she was able to sit with them and call the Subaru factory to figure out pricing for the estimate. The dealership said they would even get me a loaner for a period of time if needed while my car was in the shop. While getting your new car mangled in an accident less than a week after purchase is never desirable, the staff at Hyman Brothers Subaru truly made it feel less painful! The repair shop they recommended was extremely easy to work with, and communicated with me throughout the process. I will definitely be getting my next Subaru from Hyman Brothers!

Very well accessorized. Really too many bells and whistles for my need.
Someone that is younger and more into cities and technology with cell phones will appreciate what this car has to offer. I personally will probably never use all of the gadgets.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.

Comfortable and smart interior, sporty handling. Looks good on the outside, plenty of space in trunk, seats fold down very easily. Good all round visibility
I've been a fan of Subarus for years and this model is the best I've had. I like how the large navigation screen, which I found annoying and not very practical in earlier models, was eliminated and replaced with a smaller screen that displays radio stations. And, this model has a digital clock that isn't in military time--such a relief! Overall, a few nice changes from years past. A beautiful color in pearly green too!
Amazing customer service, I would not go anywhere else. The best ever, great manager, great staff, some people hard to be satisfied, this dealers work hard to make their customers happy.

I drove my Pearl across the country from California to Tampa Florida, with no issues! Dependable/reliable and durable. Pearl was love at first site and thanks to the folks at Capitol Subaru, California I was able to finance my Subaru, with not stellar credit they helped. Now my car is fully paid for and I love my Outback. I got my son to buy his own 2016 Subaru!
I love everything about this dealership. They are the gold standard for all Volvo Service teams. I purchased my car from another dealer, but will not take it back there ever, having worked with Volvo of Richmond. The service professionals keep you informed of the nature, expense and timing of the appointment. The shuttle team is punctual and personable, and the car comes back in great shape. Kudos all around. Special note that the dealership sent an email overview of the condition of the car, followed by an email and phone call post service. Great team.

Just what I want in a car. It holds the road on ice and snow and is a pleasure to drive year around. My last Subaru, a 2000 purchased new had no major problems until it died an official death at alnost 300,000 miles.
I resently purchased a used Ford Expedition 2006, from Fivestar car and truck llc. , richmond va . I could not have been happier with my experience. I purchased the truck as is, but I did purchased a limited warrenty. On the very first day a check engine light came On. I called Chris S. the owner, he was very courteous and thoughtful. I brought the truck back and he brought it to he ford mechanic, to check the codes and see what needed to be done. We went back and forth a number of times. Throu out my dealings Chris and his team could not have been more professional and courteous. He really wanted to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Since the problem with the truck could not have been anticipated. Eventually the truck was repaired, with the dealership taking responsibility. I would recommend Fivestar to my friends, and intend to return in the future for sdditional purchases. Maria their financial/processing person was lovely. And Chris S. felt like a friend by the time everything was done. Great Place

It is a good car for shorter people who load things like kayaks on top of their cars.
It is also a very solid comfortable sporty little wagon. It could have a little more storage/stuff space by the driver but otherwise it has plenty of cabin space and roomy back seat.
I feel safe in it on winter roads. It has a noticable shift when accelerating but is fairly quick for a 4cyl.
This is our third Subaru, purchased through Harry. I think that says a great deal about this person. If we didn't feel like we were being treated fairly, we would have never purchased the first one. We love the car, but that is only half the story. The dealership is like a family member to us. The people in the sales, service and parts departments are first class. I am always treated as if I am their most important task for the day, and they do everything in their power to accommodate me and my request. They are good at providing advice, but not before they listen and understand what it actually is that I am requesting. As I tell everyone, they treat me like family.

Mechanically sound, good fit and finish. Excellent fuel economy for an awd suv, excellent safety assist features (Eyesight)
Horrendous user interface for all infotainment - I have never sworn so much at a car - all electronic controls were counter intuitive. Some were just plain stupid such as when putting car in reverse, as rear view camera comes on there is no way to mute stereo which is set at same level/station as when the car was last turned off! Even the window controls operated the opposite way I have been accustomed (down position of switch feels like it should be up, etc.)
Another con, I found the seat cushions to be too short (inadequate length under thigh towards the knee) for long trips.
Very odd that a car that could have been so good, struck out in such basic, easily correctable ways. They should fire their electronics designer and borrow some seat ergonomics know-how from the Swedes or Germans - and they will have a very good car!
Harry was very informative and helpful during the purchase of my forester. And I couldn???t believe how quickly I was able to get through the paperwork. It was a good experience.
Avoid the 2013 Outback.

Prepare to replace random bulbs monthly due to undiagnosable electrical issue.
Prepare to have CVT transmission warranty work if under 100K miles OR tough luck after extended warranty expires.
Prepare to have oil usage warranty work up to 100k miles or tough luck after extended warranty expires.
Customer service through Subaru is hit and miss.
Don’t buy the ’Love’ hype.
When it comes to reliability and customer service, it’s closer to Chevy than Honda.
The handling in poor road conditions is superior, but this generation Outback lacks dependability.
