After finding out we had a stripped oil drain plug at a service garage, we ordered a new pan and gasket, knowing we would be in town in a few days. To make a long story short, the Ford mechanic was able to remove the plug and save the pan. A new plug was inserted saving us $125, not to mention a huge labor charge. The service underwriter Shawn did a great job, the mechanic, whose name escapes me (great mustache, gray in color) did a great job and both reinforced my decision to have purchased our F-250 super duty. Rounding out a great experience was the parts guy not charging us a restock fee while crediting back the pan and gasket! Thanks all for a terrific job done!

Great crossover. A lots of room, lots of good features. Easy to drive, comfortable on long trips. Great visibility. Very quiet in the passenger compartment compared to other vehicles I have owned.
I called up the dealer, since I saw online they offered FREE VT state inspections, wanted to find out the details, assuming there was some catch, since everywhere else in the state charges $50-$100!!. Come to find out it is exactly what they say. FREE. FREE for anyone, and there is no hidden fine print like you have to have purchased your car there etc. I did not buy my car from them, and they had me in and out in less than an hour, and didn't have to pay a dime. Treated me like I had spent a million dollars. The whole experience was great, from the time I checked in to the time I left they kept me informed, and delivered on everything they promised. Everyone was friendly, must have been greeted by 6 different people in the time it took me to walk across the showroom to the waiting area. Thank you Berlin City Kia service team, job well done!

This car has what we want: all-wheel drive, many safety features, comfort, and amenities galore. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. We will be sticking with Subaru.
I feel that the staff over at Carter's got me literally the best deal available. They (Kevin, Christie, and Tim) were very efficient and so great to deal with. I'd suggest Carter's Cars to all of my family and friends. See you three in the future for more business and thanks for all of your hard work getting me into my 2014 Jetta for under book value!!!! I couldn't find a better deal if I tried.

Best ICE / SNOW Vehicle

Looked at Volvo’s and the rest before deciding to buy a Subaru. The ride is noisy most of the time. So far, I get 28 mpg, so why buy the slow noisy 4cylinder? The traction system is called X-Drive and it works well in glare ice and deep snow. Dealer maintenance is outrageously expensive, charging $600 to replace 6 spark plugs. The. CVT causes this wagon to be slow even with the high output six cylinder. The cabin heating system needs to improve so that you don’t have to idle for 1/2 hour to get heat when it’s -10.
I love that I know that my wife will be safe and will feel comfortable driving it . I really have DRIVE THIS CAR FAR AWAY, and still going and still have way more lives....
I filled out an online app in hopes of a newer/used vehicle for myself and family as I have 4 children 2 of witch are teens who drive and as a single father i wanted something i can feel 100% worry free with as I send my daughter's out on their daily errands, school, etc. With 2 divorces and struggles in life I never thought it would be possible to get a new car however I had to try. I got approved online and like most everyone else thought ya sure until I get there I'm approved then they'll want a years salary for a down payment but I went anyway! I got there and meet with Art and after a half hour he had gotten me into not a used car but a brand new 2018 Nissan Altima! Now I can go work my 10 hour days, my children can go to school, run their errands and I don't have to worry about their safety or if their broke down somewhere! Thank you from the bottom of my heart MR. Lucia!

The "new to us" Outback is a 2010. It has very low miles and is immaculate. We drove it off the lot feeling like it is was brand new.
This car is roomy but still gets great gas mileage. It has the bells and whistles I wanted without being priced too high. Subaru is a reliable make that I will be able to count on for many years to come.
This car is unbelievably practical, well made and good looking. It has great gas mileage and is extremely reliable. I have never had ANY issues with it. I once went on a ski road trip with 4 of my friends and we all fit comfortably with all of our ski gear in the back & skis on top! I am so sad to say goodbye to it. I am only selling it because I am graduating Medical School and starting residency in NYC in June.
Test drove an 2009 Impreza that was cheap, but have a few problems so I wanted to check out my options. First time buying a car. Saw a 2007 Outback here. Staff was as friendly as it gets, and went out of there way to help with little things. Asked if we need anything, came out when the hatch was stuck, let me haggle over the price including taxes and registration, totally accommodating. In fact, after I bough the car, and paid cash so the whole sale was done as far as they were concerned, they noticed I was fiddling on my phone and asked if I needed help with setting up my insurance. Very much above and beyond. Bought as is, but insisted that if I had any problems to bring it back because they want to do right by their customers. By coincidence, my neighbor just barely bought from Carterss as well, and had a similar experience. I recommend them, and will be top of my list next time im in the market.

I especially like the room in the back storage area, i had to use it to haul bags of leaves when i first got it and could haul 8 bags, I can put in 2 golf bags easily, and for traveling its great.
This car just keeps getting better. Eyesight, Appleplay, auto door locks, improved display......I thought I loved my 2017 Outback!! Subaru continuously strives to improve upon what they have instead of trying to razzle dazzle you. I will never own anything but a Subaru.
Third vehicle here; staff worked on affordability each time.

I have now purchased three used vehicles from Heritage; a Camry, a Sienna and a Corolla. (Also another Camry from a dealer in Rutland.) Very happy with the life span and performance of the first two from Heritage; hopefully #3 will continue as a trend. I worked in retail management for 30 years. My crusty old school boss, generally a good guy - classic tough but fair person (these days seems like too much "tough", nowhere near enough "fair" anymore) used to say this on the regular about hitting sales targets, often challenging ones: First time's luck; second time's coincidence; third time's a trend. I made it a point of my career to hit as many of my targets as reasonably possible just so I could throw that old chestnut back at him during sales meetings. Not surprisingly, he didn't seem to mind... I appreciate the staff working on price; we are a family of four, currently one income, living in very expensive Chittenden County. Rural area; we need at least two affordable cars, plus probably one more next year or so when my teen son starts driving. I truly wish there was ONE visionary out there in car dealership land that would just put their used auto inventory out there with a finite price, inclusive of a *reasonable* markup to cover conditioning, etc. and a modest profit, and end all the lunacy and stereotypes surrounding deal-making. Having worked so long in retail, I genuinely understand the need and right to make an honest profit. I do not believe anyone, any "customer", has the right to try to screw down the price of a car (or anything else) to cost or almost cost. Nor should dealers abuse the nice, naive people who are often just confused. One loud obnoxious jerk will wail to the heavens at the injustice of the price of a car, to the point where usually you're willing to do almost anything to get rid of them, I suspect to the point where another more pleasant customer will get a bad deal to make up for it. This is wrong on so many levels. That jerk doesn't deserve a deal, though I know they are usually the type that can afford most whatever they want. This recent deal was a bit of a misunderstanding, BTW, so I hope I wasn't being that jerk here. Not my intention at all. I just wanted to get to a loan not above 10K due to our financial situation; that's all. Your initial price on the car was almost exactly what the bank's listing had it at. I just knew I couldn't afford full book PLUS all the extras (tax, fees, etc.). You worked on it, and made an offer and I appreciate it, truly. I plan to turn this car over to my son late next year, and hopefully look for another for myself. Our daughter will need a vehicle in two+ years. You have the potential for two more sales right there over the next few years. Isn't that worth offering a good deal to a loyal patron? Please consider a used "Fixed Price/ Everything Included" option on your lot someday. No arguing/haggling/wailing to the heavens crap. "Here is our price, all in, inclusive of our *reasonable* markup and reconditioning costs." This is the very first place I would look in the future. Why not try it? I get the whole new car BS (sorry, but it is, and you all know it), with "incentives', rebates, etc., etc. Probably hard to get to a fixed price wading through all that nonsense, though I believe it could still be done with a bit of determined and legally creative accounting. Lastly, what I wouldn't give to peruse your full P&L for a lunch hour or so. Right in my wheelhouse, as I am an intensely curious person, generally. I used to tell that crusty old boss of mine that it's one thing to understand an operational line item (like a supply line, say); another thing entirely to be able to actually MOVE that number. Sometimes you can't; the best you can do is hopefully contain it. But I digress...sorry. Thanks for what I hope to be yet another great car from Heritage. I look forward to working with you in the near future. Steven
I recently purchased a vehicle there and I had 2 things not working correctly. Even though one item was after the warranty period they fixed it for free. Great service. The purchasing was very easy and they have a wide selection to pick from.

The only concern that I had was the fact my leg room may have been less then I had hoped for. Other then that it was an outstanding auto.
We recently purchased our second rebuilt car from Paya’s. The car is virtually brand new—less than 1,100 Miles. We appreciated their full disclosure of the prior damage to the car and the repair work prior to sale. The car inside, outside, engine compartment and truck are spotless. Tom Patterson provided exactly what we requested and there was no effort to upsell. That was much appreciated. He is an asset to their operation. Our first Paya car was an excellent vehicle. We trust this one will be too. We are already planning our next buy. We recommend Tom and Paya’s.

The rear automatic braking system kills my love for this car. If the eyesight thinks you're going to hit something (a wall, another car, etc), it sounds a brief warning, then slams on the brakes. You might just be backing into or out of a steep driveway though. It scares the daylights out of you if you're not expecting it. Literally, the brakes will lock up. There is no instant kill switch for it, and it takes a while to turn it off while holding your finger on the button. I can't back into my own driveway without this thing slamming on the brakes unless I hold up traffic while pushing and holding a button to clear. It resets every time you put the car into reverse. I hate this "feature" so badly. I wish I could permanently disable it.
i had a great experience purchasing a used vehicle from Burlington Subaru. I worked with Pinhas, but everyone I dealt with there was great. From day one, I felt they were being honest and fair with me on the purchase on the car. If you're looking to buy a car in Burlington or anywhere in the country, Burlington Subaru provides an outstanding buying experience.

The 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited is a Fantastic car! It has an excellent six cylinder engine/CVT trans. Lots of power whenever you need it. The Outback Limited is loaded with all the latest technical wizardry you could want. The Outback has a great ride and very good handling. Plenty of room inside for people and cargo. No need for an SUV when you can drive an Outback.
Had a great experience, Paul was very helpful and attentive. Dealership was clean, and well staffed. Comfortable waiting area, and a very nice facility. Will go back again.

When it comes to safety, reliability, value for the money, and best of all it's performance in the snow, Subaru is hands down the VERY BEST. I would challenge any other car brand to beat any of these qualities in a car . . . no matter what the price!!!
This is the way to buy a car. Josh was prompt and regular with e-mail communication. Process was completely transparent with before and after photos freely shown. When we came for test drive, the key was given freely without any sales pressure. We knew we wanted to buy, and the whole process of closing the deal took 45 minutes.
Impressive showroom for a used car dealer, to boot.

Way more room in this year car than previous ones I’ve owned. Seat height is great, you don’t fall in and have to crawl out. Very roomy and comfortable
