The 2.4L engine delivers smooth acceleration with excellent fuel efficiency, making it ideal for both city commutes and highway trips. The CVT transmission ensures a seamless and comfortable driving experience. Inside the cabin, the premium feel stands out. The leather seats are not only luxurious but also extremely comfortable, especially with the heated feature. The dual-zone climate control is a thoughtful addition that allows for personalized comfort. The technology package is impressive for a 2016 model. I love the touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto for seamless connectivity. I rented an P100D for the weekend. When compared to my 2018 M5 this is better one of the two. The Model S is faster both straight line and in corners, more stable at speed, has more nicely weighted steering and is much more comfortable. It doesn't shake or rattle on bad roads. The infotainment system is far superior without frequent lockups. The only thing the S lacks is industry standard blind spot and cross traffic monitoring systems and a Heads Up display which the M5 has. Rear seat head and leg room is also limited when compared to the M5. Range of the model S on a charge is significantly less than a tank of gas on the M5 when driven quickly. Visiting the supercharger every 150 miles for 30 minutes is the fastest way to top off the battery. The Tesla driving experience is well worth the wait at the a supercharger.

purchased used with 2,200 miles. At first, I hated it, I've never had an all-electric car and the batter was dead. Luckily they sent someone to jump it. I was still thinking it was a mistake, until I actually drove it and got to know it and learn it. Drives totally different than my corvette. Now I like the Tesla better than my 650hp corvette. It hugs the road like nothing, takes off like a bat out of xxxx. I felt safe and comfortable hitting the pedal to the floor and feeling the rush of this thing taking off and just hanging on to that jet style steering wheel.
