I purchased a 2025 4Runner TRD Pro and only in a few hundred miles I love it. I had a few 5th generation 4Runners and they were great. But this is a whole new level with the 6th generation. Great ride, comfort, technology, and capabilities is unmatched by the previous generations. The only thing I don't was the price tag. But personally, I would do it again.

I couldn’t wait to own the new model year and had to wait for months for it to be delivered. I love it. The exterior is gorgeous and interior is just enough for a 4WD SUV. The brakes are NOISY in reverse and quite embarrassing so I hope they fix that soon. It’s only in reverse and never in drive. Overall I give it a solid 4/5.

I had no issue with the service. I appreciated the customer service and my calls were returned in a timely manner. I received follow up call after the purchase which was a good customer service.

This review is based on 300 miles so reliability is really an unknown but I purchased based on Toyota's reputation. I was looking at larger SUV such as the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Explorer/Expedition. Reliability has become questionable on both so, I opted for my first Toyota. I have the SR5 which is the bottom trim level. It has all of the safety features and same engine as the other models. It's not a luxury SUV by any means but, it's functional, purpose driven and the cost was reasonable. You can go as high as $70K+ on some trims. I added 4WD to mine and it had a few small extras. Cost was MSRP and about $44.5K plus tax. The cabin is quiet, seats are comfortable. I did not get the third seat option. I prefer the large open space. On the topic of cargo area, Toyota left the third row side panels in place so, that eats up a little room. Also, the cargo floor has no underfloor storage, it's fixed. Infotainment is good, 8" screen is ample for most folk. Safety features seem good so far. Gas mileage is averaging 23mpg but, on a run at or below 70mph, you should get 25+ in eco mode and sensible throttle use. The engine seems to have a lot of power that kicks in at low RPM. Very nice. Lots. of plastic on the inside but fit and finish is good. No rattles so far. I did not purchase the car for 4WD activities but nice to have is stuck in the snow.

Highly recommend the service team at Pat Lobb Toyota. Scheduling and drop off are simple and quick. The service advisers are right on top of getting my car into the service department and completed the work faster than I expected. And the coffee is good.

The overall process was a positive experience overall. The presales process of setting up an appointment was great. I was able to test drive the vehicle, negotiate a trade in and settled on final pricing. Finance was quick. All staff were great to work with. That includes sales support staff setting up appointments, the sales staff that supported me withe purchase, and finance staff that closed the deal. I would purchase from McKinney of Toyota again! Yes, I have to commend Desmond Adger who was the service manager that took care of me through the entire process of getting me a new headlight for my RAV4. He went out of his way to locate the new headlight out of your Houston Toyota location and got the new part in 24 hours and into my car. during this entire process, he paid attention to detail and kept me informed at all times.
