Used Toyota 4Runner SUVs for sale near Hugo, MN

I have now purchased two vehicles from Adam at Walser Toyota and couldn't recommend him enough. I even sent a family member to purchase a Tacoma from him too! The process was easy and straight forward, and they were able to track down both vehicles that I wanted. Service was also quick when both times I've serviced there they finished the service before the time that was stated when I arrived.

Not the most technologically advanced but that is what I was looking for, keep it simple! The features it has are the important ones, at least to me. This is my third one since 2011 and I love not having to bringing them in for repairs.

I live in Sioux Falls and recently purchased a 2022 Toyota Highlander from Walser. I had never purchased a vehicle before that I had not seen or driven. Phillip Sosin walked me through the steps needed to complete this process in a very thorough and polite manner. Not being a (techie) I was worried but everything worked out. I couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle other than I have yet to figure out all of the electronics which my grand kids have been helping me do. Phillip was wonderful through this entire process, he answered all of my questions and was in constant communication, even after the sales letting me know the status of the title transaction. I have yet to get this 2024 4runner TRD Pro stuck, and I have tried. Love this thing. Its already made it across the country and back. Ive had it since April of 2024 and about to break 20k miles. Had water to the bumper and mud to the frame and this thing keeps on ticking wheels keep turnin.

Very pleasant and helpful. Curtious , patient, and a place I’d like to do business at, if I could travel to the Minneapolis area. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. I was able to purchase locally. 150 miles closer. Would consider purchasing in the future. Thank you!

I had a great experience buying a new Jeep Grand Cherokee L at Barnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of White Bear Lake. I found the Jeep I wanted online, contacted them and came to look at it. I worked with Nick and he was great to deal with. What I liked about Barnett is that their online list price was legitimate. I had contacted a few other places prior to Barnett and they kept adding on fees for this or that. One place wanted $400 to install a module so your brake light would flash, another said their online price included discounts for being a current lease holder and and first responder so I would need to add a couple thousand dollars to their list price. But Barnett didn't do that, they sold it to me for the price listed and gave me a reasonable trade in offer for my current Jeep. I did pay cash so I can't comment on financing but the paperwork was quick and efficient, overall great experience all around. It feels like an honest environment where they are straight shooters and not trying take advantage of anyone.

Two reviews below clearly doesn’t understand how having a FRAME instead of a unibody means. Take your Ford Exploder, Honda pile, Jeep Grandcrappy and flush them where they belong. The 4runner has Solid rear axle, IFS with upper and lower control arms, and a real transfer case with low range. If you are looking to stay on the pavement and pay out the wazzoo for suspension repairs if you do hit the dirt. Then go ahead and buy those “cheaper” SUV’s. If you want a true and classic SUV the way they were first built, then the 4Runner is for you. Good factory ground clearance, yet can cruise to ANY destination. Yeah that’s why we defend these. That’s why they hold there value. That’s why there nothing else on the market that can compete. I hit dirt roads every day and sometimes I can’t tell if I’m on pavement or dirt. Super smooth suspension and dependability you won’t find in any other vehicle in its class. I’ll give a wave as I pass you on the beach while your buried in the sand. You will regret buying any other so called truck.

Traded 2023 Highlander Ltmd AWD for 2024 4 runner because it was sadly disappointing. Chose 2024 4runner before they ruin it with the 2.4L turbo & electric motors the 2025 is suppose to get. Have a 2022 4runner we love so why not have another as our second vehicle. Both are TRD Off Road models and seem to go just about anywhere you dare with surprising results Everytime ! Good visibility,great comfort, enough room and safe & reliable.

Josh Hartigan had absolutely terrible customer service. You should absolutely try to avoid him. He was incredibly rude during the entire financial process. It seemed like he was upset I didn't take his loan insurance offer that would give him commission. I expected Luther Toyota to hire better employees for a more friendly experience. Cheer up Josh, come on. Dave Thomas was a great guy! I loved my experience with him, and he made the process very smooth. I got the car that I liked and he didn't try to sell me anything extra on top. Class act. Superb service. Friendly guy. Bottom line: ask for Dave, avoid Josh.

Just purchased by 3rd 4runner Limited. Love that Toyota is reliable and I like sitting up over looking traffic. Toyota's hold there resale value. I did not purchase the extended warranty, I've never used it previously and think it's a waste of money unless you pur a EV. Also, the dealership might try to get you to buy windshield coverage....it's already in my auto insurance coverage. Shop around for rates, usually a credit union has pretty good rates if your credit score is good. Dealerships generally run higher interest rates. Also, make sure you get 2 key fobs. Just offering some general buying tips.

He seemed knowledgeable and honest. He answered our questions well and was responsive to our requests.

I purchased a 2025 4Runner TRD Pro and only in a few hundred miles I love it. I had a few 5th generation 4Runners and they were great. But this is a whole new level with the 6th generation. Great ride, comfort, technology, and capabilities is unmatched by the previous generations. The only thing I don't was the price tag. But personally, I would do it again.

The staff at Buerkle is amazing. They take time to really hear your needs and find the perfect vehicle for you. I was also very pleasantly surprised by how smooth the process was and that I didn't have to spend all day at the dealership. Thank you Sarah and Noah and the whole staff for a great experience.

Amazing build quality…you can feel it in everything. The last of its kind. Buy one while they’re still around. Don’t buy if you’re concerned about fuel mileage. Trade off is drive it easily 20 yrs without replacing hybrid battery packs and CVT transmissions. Old school bulletproof reliability and quality.

I couldn’t wait to own the new model year and had to wait for months for it to be delivered. I love it. The exterior is gorgeous and interior is just enough for a 4WD SUV. The brakes are NOISY in reverse and quite embarrassing so I hope they fix that soon. It’s only in reverse and never in drive. Overall I give it a solid 4/5.

Just bought a used Toyota at Lexdan. I would buy here again and recommend this dealership. My salesperson was Franck, who was friendly, transparent, and didn’t pressure me at all. Ben, the owner, took time to walk me through some financing scenarios and he was very helpful and patient. I just had my trusted mechanic of nearly 15 years take a look at the car I bought and he confirmed what I already knew - it’s a great vehicle and the price was right. Overall I had a great experience at Lexdan.

I've owned this car for at least a year now. And the ride comfort is better than they say. It is on the road I'm impressed with the off-road. Ability of this vehicle. Love the looks and the style. I was actually looking for a truck. When I bought this but I'm glad I made my decision for the forerunner.

I bought a 2019 Kia Sorento and was promised an extra key and have yet to receive it even after emailing them about it. The rest was great but disappointed they didn't follow through with what was agreed upon as far as key is concerned.

This is our fourth 4Runner since 1996. 4Runners are a supper reliable SUV. Each of our 4Runners had over 250,000 miles with no issues. I would recommend a Toyota 4Runner as primary vehicle. They are stylish, reliable, economical to own and operate.

Overall a pleasant experience, Jeremiah and Poe were both extremely helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. We never felt pressured to make a decision or felt like we were being rushed. Additionally, they had the entire process streamlined and were able to get everything done rather quickly once we had made our decision.

This review is based on 300 miles so reliability is really an unknown but I purchased based on Toyota's reputation. I was looking at larger SUV such as the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Explorer/Expedition. Reliability has become questionable on both so, I opted for my first Toyota. I have the SR5 which is the bottom trim level. It has all of the safety features and same engine as the other models. It's not a luxury SUV by any means but, it's functional, purpose driven and the cost was reasonable. You can go as high as $70K+ on some trims. I added 4WD to mine and it had a few small extras. Cost was MSRP and about $44.5K plus tax. The cabin is quiet, seats are comfortable. I did not get the third seat option. I prefer the large open space. On the topic of cargo area, Toyota left the third row side panels in place so, that eats up a little room. Also, the cargo floor has no underfloor storage, it's fixed. Infotainment is good, 8" screen is ample for most folk. Safety features seem good so far. Gas mileage is averaging 23mpg but, on a run at or below 70mph, you should get 25+ in eco mode and sensible throttle use. The engine seems to have a lot of power that kicks in at low RPM. Very nice. Lots. of plastic on the inside but fit and finish is good. No rattles so far. I did not purchase the car for 4WD activities but nice to have is stuck in the snow.

I requested an on line quote on a 2016 Honda Accord and got an almost immediate reply with a very competitive offer. I liked the up front approach taken with the offer.The offer was significantly lower than the No haggle Walser dealer in the Twin Cities area. The follow up was appropriate without being stalking. I ended up purchasing from my local Honda dealer who priced matched and wasn't a 100 miles further away. I almost felt guilty about not purchasing from Brookdale as the on line process was so smooth. I don't usually do reviews , however this was a very pleasant experience. I will be contacting this dealership again in the future for my next vehicle purchase.

My wife drives this vehicle and she is a small gal. She said it fits her great and rides very smooth. Gas mileage isnt the best but she doesnt drive it everyday so its not a big deal for us .

Simple made the process easy and mostly remote, which was great. Lance from the F&I team was fast and efficient. The only downside was the wait time to sign paper for finance?it took a bit longer than expected. Kevin went over everything in the car thoroughly, promised a full charge, and delivered on that promise with a full charge and no decals. Overall, a great experience! I love everything about my 2017 TRD PRO Cement Gray 4Runner "except" the ENTUNE system. The Quick Text message system only works 1 out of 20 times. Not very useful when hands free safety is concerned. Dealer R&Red the Entune system, however replacement Entune has same problem. Not happy as this adds to the danger of handling a phone instead of using the Entune Quick Text while driving. The Entune system Quick Text didn't work with either of my new Samsung or Moto Android phones even after I changed phone carriers. Also the right side touch screen buttons on the original Entune system failed as well. Very disappointed Toyota. This was my second 4runner purchase. Other than the Entune system, a perfect vehicle IMO.

My experience with Land Rover Jaguar Richfield was excellent. Janna was incredibly responsive and proactive from my very first virtual interaction. When I first inquired on a previously owned Range Rover via Cars.com, it turned out to not be quite the package I wanted. (My mistake; I hadn’t noticed the rose gold accents. No thank you.) Still, Janna heard exactly what I was looking for and offered to keep an eye out. A week later -- voila! -- she informs me of a "unicorn" that had just come in. It was perfect: very low miles, white exterior and beige interior AND a great price. I said, “Let’s do the deal!” She pulled out all the stops to get it detailed and all ready to pick up by the next day. Their great collaborative team of Vince and Elizabeth also worked in sync to get my trade done and get me on the road quickly with a new ride. First class experience! We bought a 4 year old vehicle, which was in great condition but had an unexpected mechanical issue within the first few weeks. It ended up being a costly, substantial repair. Without any push back, Rudy Luther’s Toyota stood behind the warranty with integrity and great customer service. Everyone we dealt with was respectful and professional. They took what started as an issue that really concerned us and made it right! Even though we live 85 miles away from the dealership, we plan on buying our next vehicles from them. They’ve earned our trust!

Purchased a new 2024 Toyota GR Corolla from Rudy Luther. This was a positive experience. I knew there was little chance to go slow MSRP on a new Circuit Edition, but the dealership did not ask for more than MSRP, and have me a fair price for my 2014 Prius. Good transaction.
