Luxury car, very spacious, leather interior, smart V6 engine, runs perfect!
I guarantee you that you are getting an excellent reliable car for the money!
We have owned Toyota's for 39 years and loved them all. Still have a 1988 Toyota 4x4 with over 310,000 miles. Looks and drives great. This Avalon is great, love it just like I did my 1986 Cressida wagon. Would recommend to anyone.
Found this dealership while looking for a Tahoe/Yukon, test drove 6 vehicles at their facility, purchased a Yukon from them, excellent experience would highly recommend this dealer

So far so good

Bought the 2015 Avalon about 6 months ago as a used vehicle. So far so good. No complaints! The sport/eco/normal performance option is awesome. Very comfortable interior. Sleek exterior.
Everyone in the family is tall and this car has front and rear legroom that you find in very few cars. I wanted to avoid vans and SUV’s so I spent a long time looking for the right Avalon. This model was downsized after 2012 which is very disappointing.
This is our second avalon for my wife , first was a 2001 with 168k miles which we sold to a high school kid cuz her parents wanted a reliable car for their daughter.
Absolutely the best bang for the buck (any year avalon). Reliable, beautiful, roomy, powerful and luxurious.
My wife puts snow tires on the car in the winter and this car (as did the 01) goes through anything up here in NH that mother nature wants to put us through.
Another great point most people dont think about is that you dont have to waste money on premium gas like you would have to with most other luxury vehicles (25-30% savings in fuel cost). I know this pain, my car is a yukon xl denali that needs premium gas and gets 13 mpg.
If you are thinking about buying one, there is nothing I can think of to discourage you.
I’ve been bringing my cars to Folsom Lake Toyota for nearly 13 years. The repair counselors always review the maintenance report with me and let me know if any maintenance will be required in the coming weeks/months, the facilities are always clean and comfortable, and the service is usually pretty quick. I’ve found that it is better to wait onsite for the car. Also, appointments fill up quickly (and can be made online) so expect to schedule at least a week or two out.

Defect

My side panel next to the driver's seat kept slipping off, after snapping it back on a couple times it seemed like it was going to break if I kept doing this. Since my car is still under warranty I thought Toyota would fix it, but was told since I broke it they wouldn't cover it. It broke because of the defect!
The sales person Edwin is the true definition of what world class service is. He was attentive and followed through. We worked with Sam for the financing and he was through and didn't gives the run around. Efficient and good service.

This car has meet all my needs and I have enjoyed driving this car. the reason that I’m selling this car because I’m graduating and traveling back home
This is a great car for traveling. Smooth, quiet, powerful and comfortable. Huge trunk and tons of leg room front and back. Very comfortable seats and good sounding entertainment center.
As a realtor, I needed a large comfortable sedan that was luxurious yet performed well. The Avalon Touring, essentially a Lexus ES 350 F type minus some frills for $11K less, delivers. 0-60 in under 6 seconds, 301 HP from a smooth V6 mated to an 8 speed automatic, all the safety and convenience features available. Plus the 4 mode driving selector that transforms the car from a relaxed cruiser to a very sporty car that is nearly Audi-like in handling, throttle response, and steering. Drive this car and forget what the previous version focused on. This new Avalon is for younger drivers that aren't ready to retire!
It is reliable and always gets me comfortably from point A to point B. It doesn't have all the new bells and whistles new cars have. But that is less things that could fail.
When I bought this car, I went with LE model because of the low price. Was my first Toyota and proved that Toyota was a reliable choice in cars. I have never had any major problems with the Toyotas that I have purchased since this Avalon
It was because of Khalil We happened to purchase our 4Runner from Elk Grove Toyota over other dealerships (Roseville, Folsom, Maita). We visited all these dealerships before coming here, and Khalil was the one who managed to hook us by giving his excellent service. On 7/2/16 at late in afternoon 5.30pm we visited Elk Grove Toyota. We were greeted by some other salesman, and looking at our interest and time factor (as it was approaching night and he probably wanted to end the day early) he ended up handing us to Khalil. I would like to highly praise Khalil for serving us from there onwards. He gave us a very smooth process from beginning to end professionally. He had good knowledge of the vehicle, extremely gentle and genuine with the negotiation process, inquired about our background and buying situation in a relaxed manner and then proposed what was best for us! His 25+ years of knowledge and experience in auto sales was far superior to that of the salesman's that I encountered at other local dealerships. At no time, we made the decision to buy the vehicle. He found a way to make this vehicle buying work in my favor and I couldn't have asked for much more than this. Thank you Khalil. He won my heart again, when the finance team required more documentation papers that we had to bring from home and also we had to drive our old car home (since my wife could not drive at night), Khalil volunteered to drive my old car back home (which was 30min drive one way) at 11pm on a Saturday night sacrificing his Family time during July 4th weekend. Who would do this? Khalil did it! He has a heart of gold, friendly manners and most important amazing customer service skills that made our new vehicle purchase possible with Elk Grove Toyota. Thank you Khalil for your patience and staying so late to wrap the deal up. Finally, this would not have been possible without the kind assistance of finance consultant Lee Saetuene. We appreciated your excellent service. Yogesh B.

Most comfortable car
by Sonu from Findlay OH

It is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever owned right after my Lexus. Toyota is the brand you can always trust, period.
I went through Consumer Reports online option so that I could complete as much of my car search and negotiations at arm???s length. Having all the info in writing allows me to think logically, choose exactly what I need, and compare prices, values, and features. I get anxious heebee-geebees having to go up against a salesperson and decide about anything on the spot. When that happens, i always end up feeling that I???ve been bamboozled. Mostly the Consumer Reports ???True Car??? approach worked, with just a few hitches. The first big hitch is that when you sign up, you have to provide both a phone number and an email address. There is no way on the signup to indicate one???s preference for contact, or whether there is a problem with any form of contact. (For example, I???m a teacher, and it is absolutely not OK to call me during the school day, which almost all of them did.) So, within three minutes of clicking yes for quotes, my phone started ringing and dozens of emails began pouring in, sometimes from multiple agents at the same dealership. And since Consumer Reports sends the request to three different dealers, the bombardment is from three different dealerships. It???s awful. But once I reached the callers and told them to STOP CALLING and reach me only by email, the calls slowed down. The second hitch is that once my butt was in the chair for the paperwork, they came at me with unexpected offers of all kinds of extended this and that policies, special protective treatments for the paint (I kept remembering the ???True Coat??? scene in the movie ???Fargo,??? and felt a mixture of irritation and amusement. Classic car-dealership sleaze moves.) If I had known this crap was coming, I would have refused to sit down with the paperwork guys until this information had been given to me in writing so that I could go home and read it, research it, and make a cool, dispassionate, logical decision. I ended up being talked into a $3,200 service/protection plan (???only $50 a month for five years, and you get eight years of coverage!!!), and ended up angry with them and myself. Went back a few days later to deliver my final check after receiving my outside financing, and told the finance guy how annoyed I was with that add-on. He was a bit defensive at first, but then switched tactics: of course I could decline the add-on, but I???d have to wait to have it refunded by Toyota finance. WHAT? I didn???t even take Toyota finance! No luck getting him to understand how offensive it was to have them move ahead with Toyota finance when we had an agreement that I was not taking Toyota finance, and had seven days to secure my own. Whatever. I was going to have to wait for refund of the $3,200. Then they guy came at it again; I could get this policy for $1,000 less (???our employee and family discount price???)! He talked me into that. I think ??? think, not believe totally ??? that the protection plan is reasonably helpful, given all the sophisticated electronics in my vehicle. But I???m still walking around with deep resentment of the process. In the end, I got a good car with the features I wanted, at an OK price, explained well by the internet salesmen with whom I worked. I was treated respectfully, which is important to me as a woman buying on my own. But next time I???ll work hard to head off the last-minute crud at the end, and demand to have all that info in writing before I even poke my head into the office of the bookkeeping/finance guys.

Big disappointment

Well, it is a Toyota so I bought a 2019 Avalon XLE Hybrid primarily for its reliability. However, it has two major flaws. Firstly, it is supposed to provide 43 mpg, but actually it is a lot less. Currently, it is 34.6 mpg. Secondly, for a pretty luxurious car I expected it to have all the safety features for which Toyota is famous. Unfortunately, it turned out that it is missing Intelligent Clearance Sonar and Parking Assist. When I called Toyota and asked if these features could be installed, I was told that it was too complicated. Big disappointment.
