I bought my 2003 Camry 4 cyl 5 speed stick NEW. Still drive it with over 210,000. MPG is 35. Best car I’ve ever owned now passing 20 years and still going. I refused to trade it. My tags are now dirt cheap too. I get over 500 miles per tank and I brag on it!

I bought this car used with under 40,000 miles in 2014. I have been driving it ever since and currently have 272,000 miles on it. After multiple accidents and repairs it has been an extremely reliable and dependable car. Up until 250,000 I would have still driven it across multiple states. My biggest complaint is the quality of paint and the exterior design being so poor. Last year I replaced the timing belt and that was the biggest cost I've had on the car. It is beginning to throw check engine lights randomly and is burning oil - oil needs to be refilled every 1000-1500 miles now. Overall it is still a dependable vehicle around town if you are managing the oil.

It helped too that my fiancé and I knew exactly what we wanted as far as choice of vehicle. We should note here that there seems to be a "homey" feel to the ambiance. We didn't feel pressured in the least and the entire purchase process lasted approximately 2 hours or a tad over. I bought a pre-owned vehicle from this establishment salesman was Harold Martin I had the car checked out and it checked out perfectly only thing the radio didn't work well Mr Martin charge me another $115 to get the radio fixed now I don't know what the xxxx is wrong with this radio it works sometimes sometimes it doesn't I'm expecting Mr Martin to honor our agreement and fix the radio on a very good note they have a receptionist there her name is Georgia I'm telling you this lady is just awesome what a nice personality over the phone and even when you're in the dealership I definitely think she is a great employee

This is an extremely reliable and dependable vehicle. Something to look out for if you have or are interested in buying a 2007-09 Camry with the 4 cylinder motor, try and look for the service records and see if your engine was repaired with new piston rings at the time when they issued the service campaign for it. I purchased my 2009 just last year with 75k miles on it, and it was a 4 cylinder that was fixed by the dealership! Doesn’t burn a drop of oil between 5k mile intervals. This car is a beast, there is nothing to worry about whatsoever with the V6 models, just be aware that higher power output means more strain on the transmission, but these cars are mechanically fantastic. Just turned 89k miles after about a year of ownership, not one issue. Gas mileage won’t be as good as a new car, but still decent! Do your research before buying, but if you can find one of these older Camrys for cheap, you won’t be disappointed.
