Worth the 3 hour drive to buy a car

After visiting dealers within 25 miles of me, I could not find/get the Model, Trim, color I wanted. I could wait for one to be built, OR I could have one ordered and brought in from another dealer and I would have been willing to do that but I could not get a fixed quote or timeline. So I decided to do my own search online. A number of dealers showed a picture of what I wanted but did not have it available. It was already "sold" or they said they could get it in for a location/delivery fee. Several "fudged" or lied. They fudged by saying "we have it available" but when I asked if available meant that they were in possession of one on the lot, they then fessed up and said no. One said none were available in the Tri-State area. Not true. I had already located 3. So I called the 3 that had the car I was looking for and decided to go with North Corpus Christi because Sam Rodriguez was straight forward, willing to answer endless questions, generally patient and friendly and quoted a fixed and best price. The dealership offered NO CHARGE on add-ons that were already on the car since we were coming from a long way. Upon arrival at the dealership, Sam gave us a test drive and thorough tutorial. He knew the vehicle very well. There was one minor problem with the car and he immediately had it fixed. We decided to purchase the vehicle but we did not want to give our SS# as requested on a form. Santiago Valle was called in and approved us going forward without supplying that information. We then met with Roy Davila and the same positive experience continued. Friendliness, transparency, thoroughness, and efficiency. We highly recommend this dealership and are appreciative of the three folks we worked with there. It was worth our time to drive the 3 hours to Corpus Christi to get the car of our choice.
