In 1974 I went to work at a Toyota Dealership in Casper, WY. I had just went through a year of Votech on repair. Thinking back 50 years since then my first choice of dependable cars is Toyota filled by Honda then Nissan. Today I own a 2019 Corolla, 1997 Buick, 1971 Datsun 240Z, and a 1953 Chevy Pickup. I gave my 2003 Corolla to my son when I bought the 2019. Working on restoring the Z car with Rust repair. I have owned lots of different import cars in my life. The Toyota line is what I prefer to drive the 2019 I have only had to do the 5000 mile scheduled oil change and rotate tires ,as when I bought it only 6,700 miles and currently 34,000 trouble free miles. The 2003 I bought with 25,000 miles and it currently has 180,000 with scheduled oil change and rotate tires with only repairs were an alternator, wheel bearing, and cruise control part under the steering wheel. To me 150K for 03 car and 28k on the 19 Corolla is an excellent record! Oh I forgot my wife lost a key so we are down to 1 key as the frigging cost for replacement key is ridiculous!

This car has been excellent with all the safety features available. Purchasing it was also easy with the help of Paul at AutoNation Toyota in Corpus Christi, TX. Would recommend anyone looking for a car to go there.

I have a stock Corolla 2021 LE with 85000 miles on it. As ridiculous as it may sound, I thought it was a good idea to put it through its paces at Road Atlanta (in the rain as well). For an economic 4-door sedan the car is very fun to drive. It dances a little but it’s still forgiving when it’s warmed up. This car is perfect for safety and fun all in one. You’d have to really try to spin out or crash in this thing…..I have tried (not joking) and I’m not sure if it’s possible unless it’s icy and you’re going 80 miles an hour. As for normal driving, gas is great and reliability is what you expect for a Corolla, no maintenance cost except for a new battery after 4 years in a hot environment.

I recently purchased a car through Toyota of Hollywood and was taking care by a gentlemen named Ellis. I had been looking for a car for quite some time, and was hoping to find something close to my budget. Most dealerships were trying to up sale the cars they had (both new and used). Thankfully when I called in and spoke to Ellis, not only was he trying really hard to help me out through this journey, but was paying close attention to my needs and really worked with me to get a great car and a wonderful deal that I couldn't pass when comparing to other dealerships who were trying to sell me the basic version of the car I purchased from them. Ellis was extremely profession and and down to earth. He went so much out of his way to help me out, that he decided to stay an extra 2:30hr after closing time to wait for me in order to get the car, not to mention doing all the E-signatures to speed top the process. I would highly recommend this place and definitely speak to Ellis, he in a wonderful sales person to work with and really tries to help you the best he can. I’ve owned several Toyotas over the years from a 4 Runner to an Avalon onto several Camrys. Now in my later years, I needed a smaller car, easily handleable, and 35+mpg plus be reliable. The Corolla delivers. Not a speed demon or a car you drive like it’s on rails but does exactly what I was expecting. A great retirement unit for running errands and 100 mile trips.
