It seems there are corolla’s with transmission issue mine was replaced at 36k miles this is my ninth Toyota the first with big issue like that although my car was just out of warranty Toyota replaced the transmission i had to pay for labor

I have only had this car for 1 month but so far it runs well. My only issue, so far, is the front bumper and black grill. The bumper came loose ( I bought used) and now, the black grill has come loose... the hood seems to be tighter on one side than the other but works fine... just is not even...carfax said no wreck though. The exterior of cars these days seem cheap and flimsy. I never had that problem with my Honda CRV. I cannot tell you how many cars I see on the road with loose bumpers.

My 2014 Corolla has 300,000km on it. Still has the original belt, rear brakes and exhaust. I average about 47mpg on a road that allows me to drive 80km/h with the engine at 1200rpm. I drive a combination city/highway miles. I tow a trailer quite often. I plan on keeping this car for another 9 years / 300,000 kms

On the 16th of Feb i was in an accident in my 17 corolla xse. A car was lane hopping and was trying to get around traffic and no matter which way he act he was being stopped from getting around other cars. On his last lane switch he side swiped my passenger wheel well and made me slide into the Steele post barrier. This car is great! It’s small but mighty. It zips and I have not had any issues with it. It’s super reliable and ridiculously good on gas. This particular year, in my opinion, is great because even though it’s older it still looks newer/modern. Toyota did a great job with this one.

I keep hearing about lack of trunk room. My wife just bought one. So the first thing I did when she got home was open the trunk. I was shocked there was plenty of room. My 18 year old son and his 200lb friend jumped in there. It isn't a powerhouse and fuel mileage wasn't as great as I thought. But seems to be a great car. Plenty of room front to back. Side to side seems tight. Averages 31mpg. I have a 2015 jeep grand cherokee that gets 18mpg. So it's an improvement but I was thinking corolla 35 to 40mpg. Leather interior, sunroof. Backup camera for 14k dollars. I thought it was a deal. 51k miles and great on interstate.
