I bought this car new in 2008. I have nothing bad to say except the paint start flaking after about 5 years. I should have taken to dealer over paint issue. My car only has 65,000 miles and paint is completely gone. I am in the process of a new paint job. Seems my issue was the clear coat in the paint. I have owned 6 other Toyotas, all bought new. This is only 1 with this issue!

Got the car I wanted at the Price that I could not pass up. Ivan was very easy to work with thank you very much for getting me the car that I’ve always wanted. I drove an hour and a half and it was well worth the trip.

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

This place is very clean great service and very polite. Had a number of vehicles just didn’t find the one I was looking for but very understanding. I would go back

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

Overall very good and reliable vehicle for the money. Not the most comfortable, stylish, or best on fuel but for the price i dont think you can find better

I purchased my 2010 Highlander in March 2011 with 5K miles. I now have 177,377 miles and never had a major repair required. Just replaced spark plugs for second time and should be good for another 75-80K miles. Thinking of trading in-not sure what to do. Oh btw: I’ve never missed a scheduled oil change in 13 years or ownership. Anyone have an opinion??????

My 2003 Highlander is now 20 years old and has been in our family the whole time. 260,000 Miles and this beautiful car runs like new. I love the power of the V6. I love the ride and the FWD does great in the mountains. I love the reliability. I love the tape deck! I frequently drive rental cars that are brand new that I don't like nearly as much as this 20 yr old Highlander. Amazing reliability and a joy to drive.

Each time i have taken my car in for service the technician has been good. My complaint is with the complimentary car wash they provide. Each time my car comes out with more scratches. I have complained but nothing was done. My suggestion is decline the car wash. The damage it does is not worth the complimentary service.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2016 Cadillac XTS from Wood Nissan Motor Company. We had a top-quality experience all the way around. Our salesperson, Jess Thomas, was experienced, respectful, and went out of his way to provide the best buying experience. I left a message on a third-party website on a holiday week-end and Jess Thomas contacted me via text right away, which was impressive. We were from out-of-town (150 miles away) and so when I spoke on the phone with Jess Thomas on Monday about the car provided all the information clearly and he volunteered to send me a personal video of the car. All of the negotiations for the car and our trade-in were conducted via phone in a professional manner. I believe the final numbers were fair to us and fair to the dealership. Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

Got me right in the shop , did a quick and great job. Everyone is always friendly and courteous. Wayne always tries to do what he can for customer's.

We bought this car new in March 2015. It currently has over 205,000 miles, and I am selling it to buy a Grand Highlander next week. I still drive it back and forth from Iowa to Florida 3 times a year, and never worry about it making it. It handles great in any snow Iowa gave me, and last trip to Florida I averaged over 25 mpg traveling about 75. I have done all my scheduled maintenance at Cedar Rapids Toyota, changing the oil every 10,000 miles, and 1 tune up with spark plugs at 120k. Total repairs, (not maintenance), was under $450. 1 rubber seal for sunroof, 4 tire pressure monitors, and 4 sets of lug nuts, as they were rusting on. Truly the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. One reason I am trading up to a Grand Highlander is to get all the new safety features. My oldest daughter is buying this, because they know it surely has another 100k + of life left in it.

I have had my 2012 Highlander 7 months ago with 142k and we have put 9k miles on it. Bought it from the 1st owner that had dealer service on it. They had delt with the oil leaks around 60k with the dealer working on it 4 times before they got it fixed by dropping the motor and doing head gaskets on it the last time. Still no leaks. I had to do a few interior repairs like the radio volume control jumping, jut pull the knob off and spray a electrical cleaner in and protect the dash from it. And 1 of the trunk floor flaps was broken off, also easy fix, clean the throttle body and mass air flow, new air filter, then reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds so it can re learn the throttle body from the cleaning. I then drive to Florida and I got 25mpg with my SE, V6, 4X4. I have a bad back and 3 surgeries and this is 1 of the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven equal to my loaded Suburban, Tahoe, and Avalanches I have had. If I ever get rid of it it will be for another one.

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

Did not buy a vehicle from them, but they answered my questions and we’re professional.

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Got the truck I wanted at a great price, better than just about every dealer in the region. Even helped me turn in my rental and detailed the truck before driving it off the lot, and gave me a gas card for some extra drive time, DESPITE the dealership having been closed for the day when the deal was done. You could tell their priority was getting me a vehicle I was happy with, not making a sale, which was a huge relief. Personable staff, honest dealing. Would recommend them any day of the week!

the car meets all my needs except the rear seat room is very difficult to get to plenty of storage room. great safety features. good gas mileage.

Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).

WOW!! What a staff!! I spent most of a 3 day weekend going from car dealership to car dealership looking for a new vehicle, I wanted something bigger in size, something better than my Bronco on fuel and something that wouldn't break the bank. After tons of research I found that the ALL NEW Mitsubishi Outlander checked all my boxes. It's sleek, plush and ultra refined interior and exterior makes me feel RICHHH. I stopped into a couple local (Springfield, MO) dealerships and got the ickkk from the sales staff and managers, you know the feeling, like you're about to be taken advantage of, that one! I swear at one point I witnessed the sales manager rubbing his bands together and counting his commission in his head... At this point it wad too late, I was already in LOVE with the NEW Outlander but couldn't force myself to buy from my local dealership so I decided to call up Northtowne. I dialed the number and asked for sales, to my surprise the ray of sunshine that answered the phone was no other than my saleswoman (Sawnya). I explained my entire weekend, went into detail of what I was looking for in a car and told her where I would like to be. Let's just say Sawyna DID NOT give me the ickkk we shared a TON of belly laughs during our first 15 minutes on the phone. I swear it was no more than 20 minutes later and Sawnya and her sales manager (Colton) called me back with good news that we could make it work!! Colton found a way to get me exactly what I wanted for my trade-in, the right price for the car I purchased and even was the first one to greet me at the dealership door with a handshake and a smile. To say this dealership feels like a family is no joke. Every single person I spoke to was kind, generous and eager to help! Finance knocked it out of the park and gave me everything I wanted in a timely manner. HUGE shoutout to Tim in finance for getting me covered with the bundle protection package. (I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached, you don't want to know how many key fobs I've lost.) The 175 mile drive was WELL WORTH it for the amazing hospitality, the expertise level of the staff and the forever friendships I made while here. For my next car I know where to start!! Best reliable car around Toyota Highlander 2019. Great all road trips. Spaces and plenty of room for everyone. Bars inside seat for car seats to connect to keep baby safe. I have bought 3 Highlanders and loved everyone.
