Their Cars are "AS IS" so when you drive off its all on you. The 30 day return document is a formality that will not be honored. 4️⃣ Review the Financing Terms – They Explained that none of their advertised EV cars get the discount it is just a way to get people through the door but they explained my financing options, including interest rates, monthly payments, and any potential hidden fees, so there were no surprises. You will be told you can refinance your car later by their finance guy but Nas let me know chances are slim since their cars have a salvage title. 5️⃣ Take a Thorough Test Drive – Instead of a quick spin, they encouraged me to test the car under different road conditions to make sure it felt right. Additional Important Steps They Advised: 🔴 No Returns Policy – Once you sign, the car is yours. They emphasized doing all research beforehand, getting an inspection, and making sure I was 100% confident before committing. 🔴 Salvage Title Considerations – Many of their vehicles have salvage titles, which means: Insurance rates will likely be higher, and some insurance companies won’t cover salvage vehicles at all—so check before buying. Resale and trade-in value will be lower, and some dealerships won’t take salvage vehicles. Many banks won’t finance salvage titles, so you may need to pay in cash or use a lender that specializes in these purchases. 🔴 Check the Vehicle’s Value with Other Dealers – One of the best tips the manager gave me was to take the VIN numbers of the cars I was interested in and check with other dealerships to see what they would pay for it. I like this vehicle, but I'm just not sure about the Hybrid version. I don't really see that it saves me any money on gas and at only 12,000 miles, the Hybrid battery failed. It took over a week to find a new battery in South Florida where I purchased the car. That battery is $500 not installed. Luckily it was under warranty. I've already replaced the tires at 23,000 because after we moved to Colorado we needed better tires that the OEM ones that came with the car. Every now and again I get a warning when I try and start the car that says, The Hybrid System has stopped working. Please turn the car off and try restarting it. When that happens and it won't restart, good luck!!! Time to call AAA. I also wish this car had or could upgrade to Apply Play. First recall is getting fixed tomorrow for a low pressure fuel pump located in the gas tank. It was a long time before they could find the part to repair the car.

We wanted a vehicle that would be able to comfortably carry 6 passengers, but also didn't want a minivan. The highlander had the most amount of legroom. Also we are getting 32mpg with the hybrid model. We'll worth the fuel savings. Very smooth ride.

Own a 2014. Best bang for your buck for a 8 seater. I'm at 200k miles with just the usual oil changes and tires when needed. Only 1 downside to these cars are the markups from dealerships.

I have had the XLE with some upgrade options as a company fleet vehicle. I have driven it about 12,000 miles in six months from 36k to 48k miles, now. I use it as a work vehicle for sales calls and some personal use. Here’s my plusses and minuses. Plusses: 1. Acceleration is strong and quick. Great for merges and when you need to pass. Amazing for a car this big. 2. While I have not calculated mileage, it is amazing and definitely as good or better than the rating. 3. Space and layout is good. I generally use it with all the rear seats down, though. Only a little family use and it was okay. 4. Reliability. Not a single problem and I think the first rep abused the car and took poor care of it. Minuses: 1. Engine is loud when gas kicks in. Would be unacceptably loud in a luxury car. 2. Comfort is mediocre. Large flat hard seats. Might be better if you are bigger. 3. Tech. Small screen, annoying beeps, lane keep adjusts too hard and would not kick in on a cold snowy day. Maybe the sensor was frozen but should not have. Apple CarPlay is what you want to use. Adaptive cruise tends to keep pushing you back to increase distances. Some cars you can set it, not sure on this. It’s annoying when you’re trying to maintain distance in a fast lane and it’s pushing you back. Also, on curvy roads, almost any curve it auto-brakes gently. You have to turn it off on mountain roads or you’ll make everyone sick. Overall, it is a great car on performance and average or mediocre on everything else. I would recommend the car as a reliable family hauler or work car as I use it. I have a Hyundai Palisade Limited (gas) and if you didn’t want a hybrid I’d totally go Hyundai as it’s way nicer on comfort and Hyundai tech is far better. To be fair, my Palisade is a higher trim but I don’t think the Toyota is that much better on higher trims and tech won’t improve.

My wife had a smaller all wheel drive car from another company that drove me nuts trying to do the driving for me. It was a total hassle to turn it off every time you restarted the vehicle and I complained every time I drove it. Now with the highlander every time I drive it I comment how much I like it. Even considering a second one for my company car. By the way this is our first hybrid vehicle.

The trim package is XLE. This car replaced another XLE Hybrid model which did not have AWD. We mainly drive between Nebraska and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The AWD on this vehicle is great and kicks in without you even noticing it. The fuel mileage in the beginning was not great (29-32) due to trips made in the winter. Have not made a trip lately, but our current mileage is 42 with mostly hybrid type city driving (slow acceleration and coasting stops). There is an engine noise when accelerating which we did not have in our other hybrid, but our other vehicle is a truck, so it does not bother us. However, the generated noise while in reverse on only the electric engine is loud & annoying. One complaint is that the XLE trim is not standardized across Toyota models or within a model.

My experience was Absolutely Wonderful!!!! I've never been to a dealership that was so welcoming. The staff was very pleasant, courteous and respectful. They made you feel like you belonged there and they appreciate your business. Even though it was a lengthy process, good communication, conversation and attention made the time fly by. Scott and Ahmed were totally awesome!!! Great salesmanship. Everyone was so attentive and my daughter and I greatly appreciated giving them our business. And......I GOT MY CAR!!!!! 2023 Highlander Hybrid greatly improved over the 2009 model. Over 37+ miles per gallon , smoother quieter ride than our 2009 which we enjoyed until finding how improved the 2023 models are plus the safety features.

This SUV meets all my needs, the MPG and spacious exterior is great. The hybrid aspect of the vehicle is hardly noticeable as it switches to battery mode.

Ulissa went over and beyond to help me get back in car. She did more than be a saleswoman she treats you with respect is up front with you. She really makes you feel you are talking to a friend. She is truly an asset to this company, they are very lucky to have her.

I love this car. I have 200,000 miles on it and it runs like the day I bought it. Other than normal maintenance I have had no problems. I have not had to put brakes on this car yet and I just had it inspected.

Bought a 2023 Highlander Hybrid, Limited. My first Toyota. Ride comfort is good, mileage is fantastic (35-38). Two things disappoint me. First, the wind noise...pretty bad. I’m hesitant to have the dealer touch it because they say nobody has complained about. If you search online, it is a known problem (the noise is TERRIBLE compared to my XT5). Secondly, the car seems chintzy. The exterior metal is tinny...again, compared to my XT5...just not nearly as solid. I would buy it again...I think Hybrids are the way to go. I’m just surprised how chintzy the car seems. I suppose the lack of insulation , etc is the trade off for the great mileage

My car was stolen and destroyed, and I was left without transportation. This was devastating to me, but I had to keep it moving as life does not wait so, I had to look for new transportation. I ended up at Alexandria Toyota. Never in my life have I met so many nice and wonderful people in one place and never has such a huge process been so easy! I've been waiting for years to find a car to replace my 2006 4Runner. I finally gave up on seeing a 4Runner redesign and decided I wanted something that was better for the environment. The Highlander hits the sweet spot for me. I've averaged 33 mpg overall since getting the car in late April. I saw an improvement in mpg once Summer gas became available. My best trip mpg has been 40 when driving from the Portland OR area to the coast. If you can keep speed in to 50 - 60 range, this car gets amazing mileage. I've been amazed at how often the gas engine is shut off and the car runs in EV mode. The transition is pretty seamless too. Disappointments: 1) My biggest gripe is that in order to switch the air flow to recirculating mode, you have to access a setting in a menu. I use this often when encountering dust or smoke, and it's much harder to switch via a menu than it would be with a mechanical switch. From the pictures I've seen, it appears that the 2023 model has resolved this issue. 2) The wireless phone charger is worthless. I'm lucky if my phone doesn't lose charge while on that charger! 3) My platinum model did NOT come with the digital rearview mirror. I really wanted this, but not sure how much I would use it as I wear glasses and the focal distance to the digital image is a bit too close unless I tilt my head back. 4) There are a lot of little rattles on rough roads... more than my 2006 4Runner had after 178k miles! 5) I'd like to be able to force the AWD system to be on under certain conditions. I barely made it to my friend's cabin due to the front wheels spinning in mud. 6) When the battery isn't fully charged and you downshift to slow down, the regenerative braking system should kick in but instead the engine is engaged. Overall I'm very happy with this car, but it could be better with some small changed. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

We knew we would purchase another Highlander hybrid after owning our first one. The new 2021 Highlander does not disappoint! It has all the latest features and is an overall great vehicle.

I had a great experience purchasing my truck from Sheehy in Fredericksburg. They did all the paperwork electronically for me and got everything done. I didn’t wasn’t over 30 minutes and the two days I was there. It was great to walk in and pick up your keys and drive out with your vehicle. my salesman was Jim glasner he was great. He did everything he could to get us in and out of there quickly because we could not stay for an extended period of time because we care for my elderly mother congrats y’all thumbs up

I have driven this car for about a month now and am very pleased with the performance and handling. The seating is quite comfortable with plenty of leg room in the front and center row seats however, the third row does not have much leg room. Both the center and third row seats fold down easily to provide ample cargo space if needed. All the safety features are amazing and work as intended, I especially enjoy the backup camera system with its blind spot warning system. Comes in handy in those parking lots where cars and people can appear from anywhere. Fuel mileage depending on driving habits and conditions is fantastic. I have only added seven gallons of gas in my first month of driving. I cannot properly rate reliability as I have not owned the car long enough to make an accurate assessment. But taking into consideration the manufacturer's different warranties that come standard with the car I am betting that if properly maintained it is very reliable.

I purchased the hybrid Toyota Highlander XLE. This is our second highlander. The product is rock solid, reliable, comfortable, and gets 35 mpg in the city and on the highway. Love it.
