My 2010 Prius with the solar panel package has been the best car I’ve ever owned. At 180k miles it drives like a dream and I’ve never had to replace anything besides the brakes. If I drive right I actually get 60-85 mpg. It’s a really wonderful car. I expect another 50 to 100k more miles out of it.

We love the prius after owning a 2007 model. The 2015 is a step up and we got it at a good price for low mileage to hold us until plug-in mile range improves.

I hate the back-and-forth of buying a car. There is none of that at Carmax. Prices are not negotiable but since you know how much a particular car is, you can shop around. I found the car I wanted was priced right compared to KBB and other listings with private and dealer sales. After I decided to purchase the car, I was out of there within 1 hour.

As described and amazing car. Would be nice that it would have a small spare tire of sort but still an amazing vehicle and safety as 1st priority.

I have one complaint. When I bought my car I presented my DD214 to the closing person to get my Purple Heart license plate. When I got a plate which was delivered to the dealership it was NOT a Purple Heart license plate. Turns out a Purple Heart license plate can only be mailed directly to the vehicle owner and NOT to the dealership. The application had to be resubmitted for the plate which I got in the mail, and, I had to file for a refund of the fees which should not have been paid. However, not all the fees paid in error and charged to me on closing were refundable. So, if you're going to apply for a Purple Heart license plate, remember Titus-Will may be ignorant (hard to believe) on the process. I would have thought such a large dealership should have known the state limitation on the mailing of these plates. So I am out some dollars.

7 years old and I've never had a single mechanical issue. Just maintain it per factory specs. Great gas mileage. Not a car to pick up chicks with.:0)==-)

Overall, 5 for reliability and value. 1) Surprisingly lots of room for packing my ceramics pottery, throwing wheel, lumber (just have to leave the hatch open and tie things down). Back seat goes down 60/40 split bench gives some options, too. 2) Good gas mileage. 3) I like the display/dashboard and different view options. 4) I did track my mileage, but it's so consistent with the low mileage that I stopped tracking miles/gallon. 5) POWER mode is good for acceleration. Used it for very steep hills and occasionally for merging on freeways. 6) Tire pressure warning light works well, since I had a slow leak that need attention once every couple of weeks. 7) Center armrest has deep, narrow storage and includes a USB port (use it for my music) and another cigarette lighter charger port. Could do better (4): 1) VISIBILITY: the driver side, looking left has a blind spot that is a problem when looking for pedestrians and oncoming vehicles on the left; when looking right there is less of a problem. The cause is section of the car that supports the roof to the body. The steep slope of the metal covers up a lot, as opposed to if the metal were to come down perpendicular to the ground that support piece would be shorter and it would take care of the visibility issue. 2) Cabin space: a) the dashboard seems of take up a lot of space, b) as well as the center, two-tier design that includes the shifter, 2 cup holders, and the storage compartment above; below is a flat, storage area w/ a port for a cigarette lighter type charger. Should've lowered the shifter and cup holders. 3) Water pump - I replaced it, but it should be noted in the service manual for technicians to somehow check that routinely since failure is a major problem. If you're aware of this problem, then be on the alert and let your service tech know about it. 4) Disc brakes - I moved to a place close to the ocean. Needed to resurface the disc and replace the pads because of rust. Someone told me that the Prius is better in urban, city areas. Makes sense. So I shoot down my brakes with water and drive it around every few days. 5) Low front spoiler, so need to be careful curbing and uneven terrain. Overall, I like my Prius 3. Had it for 7 years and like it. Would recommend it more for urban areas especially. Rural areas need to cautious of the terrain and need to be aware of corrosion issues if near the ocean, since the salt will affect the disc brakes (and obviously anything metal).

this is the third prius we have bought new. '01, '06 and '16. each time the car was a little larger, engine a little more powerful and better fuel economy each time. each has been very dependable - none have never left us broken down on roadside after total of around 410,000 miles of driving them. original tires are low rolling resistance, so make sure you get low rolling resistance tires when replacing the tires as they make big difference in mpg. my truck is more comfortable, but it weighs over 6000 lbs and gets 10 mpg, so only use it when necessary. have taken the prius on 5000 mile trips with no discomforts to speak of. (i am 6-1, 250#) another car i have has much better performance, but it passes everything but gas stations. all in all, even though i have 7 cars, the prius is my daily driver and the '16 has averaged about 55 mpg overall. just wish it was available in a convertible :)

The Prius is the last cat you will have to buy. The reason being is that this vehicle is extremely reliable. It gets over 50 MPG & it doesn’t have any issues or problems whatsoever. I was skeptical upon purchasing this vehicle, being 6 ft. 1 & 235 lbs, but it actually is quite comfortable inside. Overall this is a rock solid vehicle, it will not disappoint you in any way. Highly recommended!

I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

Sales people were friendly, especially the man from NY, and the sales guy, I bought a Honda Odyssey from them the next day I took it right into the dealer for an inspection, all the fluids needed to be changed, that's something i think they should have done before putting it on the lot, but other than that the van seems fine so far

I have a 2013 Prius. It has 129k on it. This is by far the most reliable & efficient vehicle. I had only had to change the oil & that is it. It regularly gets approximately 55/60 MPG. I absolutely love this vehicle & would not hesitate to get another Prius.

I drive for Uber, and this is the perfect car for ride-share drivers. I did previously drove an Acura MDX which was more comfortable and luxurious, but at 21 mpg it just didn't make since. The dealer was surprised and asked if I was trading it for the Prius, I assured him I knew what I was doing. Turns out it is the smartest car I have ever owned and for me was a very smart purchase. Do not give it a 2nd thought if you are on the fence. I can get Luggage into the back that surprises people with the amount of space, way more that a sedan with a regular trunk, and the ride is surprisingly comfortable. I am averaging 54 mpg which is just phenomenal. As a bonus the maintenance and tires are way cheaper to maintain and replace too. These are built in Japan and it shows quality wise.

Unlike most used car dealers!! I was surprized and pleased to find such a great used car seller, it's clear they are looking to build relationships and not just move cars. I wasn't a fan of buying from a used car lot until now. Smart Motorz is putting out quality used cars at good prices and most cars have a helpful free carfax. They also have good working knowledge of the cars on the lot with an onsite mechanic and free oil changes after the sale. I bought a 16 year old car that I love. The guys at Smart Motorz (Kamal, Rafik, and Omar) were happy to take the time and effort to answer my questions and help me to see every inch of this car so I could feel confident with my purchase. I highly recommend Smart Motorz!

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

I just retired and got my XLE 7 months ago. I was lucky to get it. Someone else decided to pass on it. I have some upgrades like the 12 inch screen and glass top. I would have never purchased a Pruis before this new model. So far, I absolutely love it. I don’t drive it like a sports car, so I am getting 53.5 to 54,5 mpg. It is amazing to spend $12 dollars on gas every two weeks instead of $30 to $40 every week like I use to. I really love the design. I have cutting edge silver. It isn’t quite as luxurious as other cars I have had but that wasn’t why I purchased it. I think it can last me the rest of my life.

Great car. Second Prius. Touring model very comfortable on both short and long trips. Surprisingly roomy interior. The safety electronics/sensor are terrific. Reliable, and gets 54 mpg ave from day one! Would definately buy another.

I had called Auto Connections early one morning to inquire about a car I’d seen on Cars.com. A nice gentleman named Stu answered the phone. I really didn’t expect anybody to be at the facility as it was only 8 am. We had a wonderful conversation about growing up in Seattle, life in general, and lastly about the car I was interested in. About 30 minutes into the conversation I asked what his relationship with the dealership was? (I had assumed he was on the maintenance staff or the cleaning crew) To my Suprise he told me he was the owner, along with his partner Keith. I told him I’d be there in 5 hours and he said Keith would be waiting for me. Upon arriving at the dealership and entering the building I was totally floored! A collection of the most amazing vehicles I had seen in a long time. The next more impressive than the first, all beautiful and in pristine condition. I looked around and nobody was in the building which I found quite odd. (Most dealerships the sales staff swarms you). Finally I found a gentlemen in a back office, his name was Keith. What a wonderful individual. We drove the car around for several blocks and returned to the dealership. Keith provided the information about the vehicle, a CARFAX, what they had checked on the car and answered every question I had. Very comfortable individual to deal with. I was sold! We agreed upon a price and I told him I’d be back in the am with a check. There was no pressure to sign anything just a handshake, trust has been established. The next morning I met Stu the other owner. He was a wonderful gentlemen and we had a nice conversation. Doing my research that evening, I had discovered some issues with this particular vehicle and had gone down a Rabbit Hole on the internet. I made my concerns heard by Stu and he reluctantly gave me a few more hundred dollars off the price of the vehicle. This was both unfair to Keith, whom I had agreed to on a price, and to Stu who hadn’t been in on the prior days negotiations. When my wife and I returned a few days later, I returned the extra monies to Stu and apologized for my selfish behavior. I asked him to also sincerely apologize to Keith as we had made a purchase agreement. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and my experience with Auto Connections. The car was made ready and any detailing and issues were addressed by Shane, the most grifted detail man in the business. This gentlemen is truly amazing at what he can do for a car. He went the extra 100 miles, even sanded the headlights for a clear beautiful look. Auto Connections covered all their bases and have the experience to truly find the car of your dreams. My previous car was a 2014 Prius. The 2018 has added safety features which are very valuable, & has even better mileage, and a very smooth drive --handles well. However, there is less trunk & glove box space, & it is more complicated to work some of the features, such as setting the clock. On the 2014, all I had to do was press the hr & min buttons. On the 2018, I had to watch a youtube a few times, & then it took me a few tries to reset the clock.

My experience was great. I didnt get the car, but the service i received was very fast, professional, and i wouldnt hesitate to deal with Brandon, or Duffy's in the future. Mike

Vehicle does everything very well. And it is not as slow as people say it is. It has great acceleration from a light blowing away most of their cars. If you’re in to that.

I owned BMWs. Totally unreliable German ingenuity, honestly overpriced garbage. This car is amazing and reliability is amazing. Just a well made car. I totally recommend this car to anyone. After working with John Y., Eastside Subaru will be the first place I look the next time I’m car shopping. My husband and I had been to many dealerships while searching for the right ride. A few years back I had a Suburban and hated coming upon hybrids. When the time came for a new car I first was thinking Corolla since it was my first new car decades ago. Then I figured why not a Prius? I have the XLE model that has most anything you could want in a new car. I usually only go 5mph over speed limits but I'm always passing all the cars when going uphill. I get looks from other drivers I pass wondering why I'm passing them in a Prius. Great handling too and so far I've taken it up to 114mph. I could've kept going but there was traffic ahead so it'll wait for another stretch of road. If I ever buy a Ferrari, I'll get a license plate frame that says, "My other car is a Prius"!

First, I'd like to say I'll never buy from a dealer (other than CarMax) again. This process was painless and positive. If you go to Renton - ask for TYSON - he was great. Laid back, informative, and what I value most - not pushy or slick. I told him some of the things I wanted in a car and he came up with the perfect choice for me. The signing took about 30 minutes and I was done. They filled up the tank - put a pretty bow on the car when I picked it up - and generally made me feel important and valued. I can't recommend this company enough!

This car meets all my needs. It gets great gas mileage, clean, runs great! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for an economical car for commuting or just driving around town.

I visited Gene Pankey Motors after seeing some vehicles on their website that seemed interesting. There was no pressure, everyone was nice, it was a small store and they explained the care they go through to find these cars that it seems would be difficult for a "big dealership" would struggle to do when going through so much more inventory. I would normally be a little bit more skeptical about the little dealerships, especially on South Tacoma Way. They had the best interest rates around, and shopped me with all the best rates at all the credit unions in the area. After making my decision and applying for financing I was approved and able to leave in about 35 minutes to sign all the documents. It was nice not having to spend all day at a dealership. Glad I stopped by this place.

Bought this prius just before our great leaders started bankrupting our economy. Driving it instead of my 4X4 truck for running around, to save gas. I am so glad I bought this thing. It's great in every respect, especially at the gas pumps.

Best experience ever with a dealership repair...wanted a new key fob programmed, wrong one sent, they managed to get it all done anyway and were helpful and friendly in the process!
