Awesome Experience When Taking In Car For Service
November 6, 2018
99% of my visits for service is through appointments. However, one morning I had to unexpectedly make a trip to Toyota Central to get my car looked at. It was 7 am when I took my car to get it serviced and I had to be at work by 8 am. When I arrived, I was welcomed and warmly welcomed with a friendly smile by a very friendly female person. The sense of frustration on knowing that I had resigned to to the fact that I was going to be late to work quickly evaporated when I was greeted and warmly welcomed with a smile by a female employee (sorry if I didn't get a name to give her credit, but all I remember is her smile and the cool tat on left wrist). From there, I drove up my car behind a short line of parked cars. I briefly wondered if I should go and see Lenny in the Service Department. As I was checking to make sure that I removed my car key from my key ring and anything that I would need to take with me to work, Lenny was walking towards me. He greet me with a smile and a handshake and for several minutes I had forgotten about knowing that I would be late for work. He took my car's information down, we walked to his workstation and from there I went to arrange to have a shuttle give me a ride to work by another friendly person located in the waiting room. (Damn, as I'm writing this, I realized that next time I'm going to ask their names and give them the credit they deserve). As I was waiting for my name to be called out, without looking up, I heard a man come in whistling, as if in a good mood. He came up to me and enthusiastically came up to me to greet me and to shake my hand. (Yes, another person that I didn't get his name, damn. I'm starting to feel guilty about all these nice people that deserve equal credit). This gentlemen with a mustache had recognized me from my previous visits and he would be the one giving me a ride to my place of work. We had a great conversation and it made the whole Toyota experience very pleasant. I wanted to extend my appreciated to Lenny who was the focal point of being very courteous, professional, and understanding my needs to ensuring that I would receive my undivided attention despite it being a very busy morning and being short-staffed. Nevertheless, he was very patient in answering a few of my questions with thorough and clear-to-understand answers. Finally and to close, just as I was about a block away from work, I pulled out my smart phone to see what time it was. I was astonished to see that I had made it to work 5 minutes before my start time of 8 am. Amazing. Thanks to superstars, Lenny and all the unnamed Toyota employees that made it all possible. You guys are amazing!!!
