Used 2023 Toyota RAV4 SUVs for sale near Phoenix, AZ

Great car overall but have have had problems with radio/screen. Needed to go back to dealer to reboot. As a current owner of now 2 Toyotas only disappointment was service.

I recently visited Camelback Toyota to get my first new car. I was a bit nervous and unsure about what to look for, ask, or how to negotiate the price. But Brent was an absolute lifesaver! I recently purchased a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid and love the car in general. That said, I have one major complaint. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I was using my iPhone connected to the Multi-media screen through CarPlay, when the iPhone maps app disappeared and I got a splash screen saying “Experience Toyota Drive Connect.” There was no way to exit this screen apart from pulling over and restarting the car and reconnecting the iPhone. I googled this issue and saw various possible solutions, but none worked. I called Toyota and after multiple delays, was told that the only way to get rid of this screen is to purchase a subscription to “Go Anywhere” which includes Drive Connect and Remote Connect. The cost is $15 per month, plus whatever tax you pay in your locale. While Go Anywhere has some nice features, it should be an option, not a mandated purchase to utilize CarPlay. It seems to me that this is essentially extortion, forcing owners to purchase a subscription in order to use CarPlay. This is beneath the high standards of Toyota. I’m sure that Toyota could disable this splashscreen easily should they so desire.

I was treated with a respectful and caring attitude. They listened to my needs and answered all my questions with patience. Together we found rhe perfect car for my needs and I am delighted with my purchase.

I love my Rav4. It's not only fun to drive but is a sharp looking vehicle. It has plenty of room for passengers as well as our 2 dogs.

Beautiful, well running car. Excellent mileage, quiet, with comfortable ride. Lots of advanced safety features. I miss the CD player, and radio is too complicated—user friendliness could be better.

Truly a positive experience. One sales person and sales @ MSRP. Without ridiculous dealer add on's. I was given the price (Maroney label) of the vehicle and that was exactly what I paid. After market products were offered but not demanded, no pressure. My sales person was professional and respectable. Started looking for a 2023 Highlander hybrid eight months ago. Tried every single Toyota dealer in the Phoenix area. Only Tommy at Avondale would sell a car at MSRP. We gave him a $500 fully refundable deposit, told him exactly what we wanted, and he stayed with us. Finally our car came through, and the transaction was the smoothest I have ever experienced with a dealer. Fast, efficient, and completely honest. We didn't see anybody but Tommy. He handled everything. Four weeks ago he gave me an oral indication of what our 2019 Highlander would be worth in trade, subject to inspection. He gave us the higher end of what all the bluebooks said the car was worth in trade, and THOUSANDS more than Tempe Toyota offered. And he honored the price when he saw the car for the first time when we consummated the transaction. My wife drives nothing but Toyotas and we will never buy one from anybody but this dealer and this man.
