New and used 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE for sale near Upper Saddle River, NJ

Never had a bad experience with this place. Must be the competitors leaving the bad reviews, shaking in their boots to the company whose cars and reputation are superior above others. Also, look at other website reviews of this dealership and you'll see they are rated highly. I would advise to do your own due diligence for the vehicle your looking for and your experience will be fun and productive.

It is not a really bad car but not for everyone. You have to live in warm or hot climate - not a cold for sure. You have to primarily drive within the city limits. You should not drive too little or too much. And one more thing: there is something wrong with either gas engine or its mount - sometimes strong vibration and its is often noisy. I will buy gas only car next time.

This is my first hybrid but second RAV4. I like it because it is simple with sophistication. Great ride and I'm getting over 40 mpg. The media system was easy to learn and operate and I use android auto with It. I was able to take delivery in less than 2 weeks.

Great styling and performance. Superior handling and acceleration. XLE model doesn’t offer as many conveniences as I had hoped but access through my phone provides the additional features.

At the dealership (Hendrik Toyota , Merriam, KS) I was tricked to purchase more expansive and worse car that the one I was test driving. I was told that the car I was driving had been already purchased. I am sure that was a lie. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and agreed to buy this one. There is definitely something wrong with the gas engine. Sometimes it heavily vibrates after I turn it on in the morning. I have purchased an extended warranty for 7 more years, so i do not worry much. Who needs that stupid sun roof? Sun shields at the front window are ridiculously small. There is no real door key. Other than all that the car is fine but only for people who do not drive much and are in a warmer climate. Do not even think about it if you leave on North.

The hood of my Toyota Camry wouldn't close properly but Irvin "Will" Paneto took a look and an interest. He let me know what I needed to purchase a new lock at my local Toyota dealer and temporarily secured the hood of my car, enabling me to continue my road trip. Grateful for his kindness!

I was looking for a used caravan, been looking for about 6 months and had one problem after another with other dealerships. Advertised price and then another $3,000 in fees!! I called Rivera Toyota and spoke with Joe, very friendly and helpful. I asked him what the price was on the car advertised, and he said the price show IS the price. No other fees, unless you want some of the additional services we offer. I told him if I am wasting my time I will throw you out of the window, JK. Next day took it out for a test drive, has two issues, nothing crazy, and was about to get off a few dollars. The price was the price and I did not have to hassle or get upset. Joseph was very helpful as well as his manager Bob. I was able to drive my new/used car that day home. I would definitely recommend coming here, for a used or new car. I went for inspection and oul filter change. Check the current discounted offers online before going, otherwise the tech will not make you aware of them and you’ll pay extra.

WAS ON DOT TO GET ON SERVICE WITH DETAILED EXPLANATIONI. I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY VEHICLES FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY DON'T DO ANY WORK THAT ISN'T NECESSARY. I TRUST THAT THEY WON'T TRY AND SELL ME SOMETING I DON'T NEED.

The service department is always excellent. Even though I did not purchase my new vehicle at this location in 2022 (not by choice, but because inventory of new vehicles of my preferred model was very scarce at the time) they still offer all the benefits of the warranty and extended service plans I signed up for during my purchase elsewhere - making for great Toyota brand loyalty. I work closer to this dealership than the one I purchased from, so it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy working with this dealership right from my first visit. I especially appreciate the shuttle service they offer to take me home and back when there is going to be a long service procedure. Also, I have a choice to schedule online or by phone, and I like having both options. Finally, the explanatory videos taken by the technicians when they have finished the job are great to have both at the time, and later at home when I want to review and fully understand what they said once more.
