Used Toyota Tundra SR5 for sale near Florin, CA

Bill at Automaxx was very professional. He was patient and conscientious in answering our questions and sharing information about the car. He was personable and attentive to the details of our purchase. Bob, one of the mechanics at Automaxx, ensured the oil and coolant in the car was clean and the car was ready for us at pick-up. Even though we purchased a 1967 Camaro, there were plenty of other "cool" cars to look at that were in pristine condition and well cared fro!

My dad bought this truck brand new off the lot in May of 2003. I grew up in this truck, learned how to drive in this truck and when I turned 18 was gifted the keys. By the time she was mine she was already an older girl but she sure didn't act like it. Healthy power, speed, torque and reliability you'd expect in a first gen tundra. She could haul pretty much anything within reason. I have still to this day never found a more comfortable drivers seat in any truck. To my shock she never broke down, never had any issues and kept on truckin' along. After the 300k mile mark I was sure something would go wrong with her due to her age but she thrived. I eventually lost her to a head on collision, broke the frame and crushed the front and even then her million mile engine still purred. When the paramedics showed up they informed me if I was in any other vehicle I would've been dead. I walked away from that accident without a scratch. She took the bullet for me and left such a strong impression on me. The best vehicle money can buy. I couldn't recommend them enough. I am actively hunting the market to find me another one because they are just that good!

I love my Tundra which I have owned for 12 years and over 100,000 miles (now at 155,000 +). I just spent $2650 to get the frame repaired from corrosion. The area just forward of the leaf spring mounting has a plate mounted on the inside with rivets holding it to the main portion of the frame. This creates a space where water can remain and cause corrosion. My truck is babied and garage kept and still suffered this issue. I am an engineer and consider this issue a design problem. Toyoto should be ashamed of themselves. When I contacted them they refused to help because 10 years ago they recalled the truck, inspected it and recoated the problem areas. They should have advised owners to check, clean up and recoat this area yearly.

My experience did not start out great and I left a scathing 1 star review just two weeks ago. I will refrain from repeating the particulars of the combination of events and experiences that earned them that initial review. Brian Zwald (GM) and Mark Roos (Fleet Director) reached out to me very quickly with offers to make the experience right. I was very skeptical that there was anything that we could do. At that point I had already ordered and paid a deposit with the another dealership and was content to wait the seven months for the car I wanted. In the end, Mark and I agreed to a very fair and reasonable price that didn't leave me feeling like I was being taken advantage of. It was almost like the no haggle, no bull crap experience that I wanted from the start. Even better, through some dealer allocation magic, I might even be able to get my car sooner (which to be honest was really the only concession they could offer to get my business back at this point since the other dealer had already done or agreed to much of what they offered). While there is no promise as far as exact time frames or delivery dates (Ford Motor Co still control the manufacturing process and dealer allocations), I am pleased that they are making the effort. I also want to give a shout out to Yves Salas (former Sales Associate of the Year, former Rookie of the Year award, and recently promoted - congrats Yves!) who Mark assigned to worked with me to get the new order going. He was very knowledgeable (I'm one of those people who will ask a question I already have the answer to, so that I can establish a baseline of trust when it comes to the questions I don't have answers for yet), not only about the vehicles he is selling, but seemed to have a great deal of awareness of what else the other manufacturers are up to as well. If only he had been the one working the lot when I stopped by back on December 23rd and had the experience that really started this all off. All of that being said, I am glad we could work something out. This will actually be my fifth purchase from Future Ford since 1999 and I never had a complaint or concern about my prior experiences. While things did not initially go as smoothly as any of us wanted, if things pan out as we hope, I strongly suspect they will see me again when it comes time to buy car number six. This is a big truck and it rides like a truck. It is spacious... especially the back seat. The V8 is nice one thing that appeals to me. My truck currently has around 48 thousand miles on it. I've had to replace the starter and a relay switch for the A/C. I've owned a lot of Toyotas over the years. This is the first one I've owned that needed more than just regular maintenance. While I would recommend it I'm not convinced it is a better value then a Ford or GMC as I once felt.
