08 Solara with 89k. Just had the timing belt and related parts swapped out. I don't think it could run any or any better! Toyota is just not playing fair. This car is 16 years old and shoes no signs of slowing down. Just routine maintenance. Don't forget your timing belt!

We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

I've had my 2005 Solara convertible Cosmic Blue SLE for about 7 months and I have loved every second of it. I have enjoyed bringing it back to life. I love it! I get a lot of compliments on it. Great car so far and I cant wait to drive it for many more years to come.

What a great dealership! After being mislead at another local dealership (drove 2 hours to get to this one, rhymes with tow), I called to see if another vehicle was still available. Usually you get the overly sales pitched, on top of you, annoying and usually somewhat dishonest sales person at a car dealership, not at Rusty's! You will be treated like family! Offered, drinks, snacks, a play area for kids and down right honest conversations, where you know you get a fair trade, and a quality vehicle at a price you can achieve! Brandon did nothing but process this deal quickly (which I appreciated with two young kids under five and the hubby not with me that day), honestly and openly tell me about pricing and financing options, offered us a great vehicle and made it an easy process! He even has the best marketing, leaving you lots of his fun stickers so you know who to call and who to refer, which I have been doing since buying from Brandon at Rusty's! Our finance associate was also FANTASTIC! He was quick and kind in explaining details and options and made the process easy too! To top it off, during that time, they offered our family a trip to their "candy store and ice cream" at the dealership, helping to keep my kiddos and myself happy during a process that does take a little time. After finishing things up we were gifted a nice wine bottle and some more of Brandon's personal goodies (snow scrapper, car koozies, etc.)! I have never felt more VIP at a dealership! I wish we lived closer so I could service all my vehicles through this dealership. It's really like none other! You'll need to find my guy Brandon because he's the BEST! I love my Solara convertible. No problems at all, ever. It rides like a Rolls Royce, has plenty of power, and the interior is as nice as a car that cost twice as much or more. The top goes down quietly and quickly and never leaks including air at high speeds. The ride is ultra quiet top up or down. All you hear are the tires on the road. Seats are super comfortable and hold you in place if you want to drive it like a sports car. You can manual shift the auto transmission but why bother? Great gas mileage. The exterior is the original paint and still looks brand new. Just a super high quality car. And this car is not small, having owned many other convertibles to me it is large. I would not sell my Solara Convertible at any price because it cannot be replaced. It is more Lexus than Toyota. Every little detail about the car spells luxury. Compass in the rear view mirror and a rear view mirror that tints itself at night when car lights behind you are too bright, then it goes back to normal after there are no lights? Seriously? This car will become a high priced classic.

There are only two used car lots in baton rouge I would trust this is one I bought a car from them over 6 years ago and the owner still knows who I am and even the car I bought might I add the car lasted about 8 years before it was totaled in a accident with over 236k miles on it still running strong my advice is when buying a used car know what you are buying so that you know common issues with those vehicles and are prepared for them if they come my car had no issues because I took care of the common issues as if it was maintenance the and I was never on side of the road because of that port city sold me a car and I loved it Value 30 out of 10

I couldn’t afford car payments anymore and just wanted a car for local driving. So I purchased this car with cash. The 137,000 miles on the car made me nervous. I purchased the car at the end of 2022 and the car so far has been great. I’m trying to reserve mileage because the car already has high mileage but already put around 2000 miles on it and the car runs like a charm with no problems.

Bought used have never regretted it.l...low maintenance...no big problems..only the wheel sensor needs replacing and 02 sensor..not bad for 200 000 plus miles..just keep your oil changed and you'll get great service..runs like a dream..

Plenty of leg room. My only complaint is the VSC light keeps coming on. After lots of research I feel as though Toyota should deem this a recall item. Seems as though many people eventually have this problem.

I needed a good gas mileage reliable car. I knew there’s no car ever made that is more reliable than a 90’s to early 2000’s Toyota and I was lucky enough to find a 25 year old Celica convertible in great shape. I had no idea what a truly exceptional car this was. It handles nearly as good as my first generation Miata, but brakes better, steering is very precise, it has a back seat and ride quality that makes a day long marathon trip comfortable. The trunk is a little difficult to open and it won’t scare you with acceleration, but it will put an enormous smile on your face every time you drive it. I’ve owned dozens of cars- many of them classics, this may well be my favorite.
