My recent experience buying a car from Carbone Subaru of Troy was joyful, which is not something I thought I'd ever say in my lifetime. As a young woman, buying a car from a dealership has proved to be difficult time after time. I've felt taken advantage of and just another inexperienced buyer easy to target; this has left me loathing the processing and feeling incredibly uneasy. I've learned all the "games" over the years, and even then, buying a car is my #1 most hated human experience. Not recently -- I want to share why! My spouse had purchased a car the week earlier from Vito (highly recommended!), and my partner had a great experience. I immediately felt like I would be taken care of, too, when I reached out to my sales associate. There were no games, no elaborate marketing strategies -- just an easy, open, and honest process. Vito introduced me to Jay the Used Cars Manager. I wish I had the words to describe how grateful I am to have worked with Jay. From the moment I sat down in his car, he took care of me. I didn't once feel like I was playing a "game," but like my family's needs mattered. He asked me candidly what I financially needed to make this a comfortable process. Not only did he see and hear me, but he was able to offer me more money on my trade which impacted my payments to meet what I needed. Jay's compassion was the missing ingredient in all of my previous experiences.  Every step of the buying process was made personal, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

I went in to Mohawk Honda not knowing what I wanted, the models, etc. Mike Decker was so helpful and explained everything to me. I went in just to start looking for a car, but ended up getting one! 2018 Rav4 was totaled by someone who ran a stop sign. Miss this car every day. Every single airbag went off and me and the other passenger were safe and able to walk away alive. Thankful for this car.

I have a 2021 Prius AWD with 233,000 km. Not one issue. Starts even at -40 degrees and everything works as it should. No rattles or lose pieces. Just a solid car. I have driven through muddy roads and a foot of snow and the front air dam xxxxxxsnow and keeps going. Who needs an SUV when you’re driving one of these.

Well it fits all 7 members of my family. Has pretty good gas mileage. It is comfortable and doesn't take 3 years to get up to 35-40 miles per hour.

Quick and courteous. This visit was a state inspection only and Sami Dawood was helpful in getting our two cars in and through in the same hour. We appreciate the service and also received tips from the mechanic on one cars alignment. Much appreciated, keep up the great work!

I just bought this 2013 4 cylinder Venza with 126K miles on it. I have the base LE trim. My primary reason for buying it is because I am 6'4" tall and this model does not have a sunroof. All cars with a sunroof have lower head room. The only minor issue is the suspension is very firm and I feel every bump. But that firm ride also makes emergency high speed maneuvers safe. There is no top heavy rocking like most SUVs suffer from.

My car was due for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Michael Bingham walked me through the process and pointed out an issue with my tires. He guided me through the process and offered up his future help with trying to recoup some compensation with the company I bought my tires from. (they are not that old and are starting to wear) Michael was very helpful with my entire visit to Lia Infiniti. I frequent Lia Infiniti both for maintenance and purchase of my car and I am always happy with my visit there. I only have one very small complaint....there wasn't a sticked put on my windshield letting me know when my next oil change is due. I rely on that sticker. BUT that is a very small issue.

My recent experience with Romeo Toyota was by far the most amazing car buying experience I have ever had. Their staff were knowledgeable, friendly, allowed me to ask the many, many questions I had, not all of them.car-savvy. I kind of knew what I wanted and wasn’t dissuaded from my original idea. I felt supported and encouraged. Great experience, from Zac, in sales, to the finance staff, all very professional and helpful.

Bought my 2017 used in 2020 with 14,000 original miles. Very happy with it. The shifter took some getting used to as it's not as smooth as other cars in its class. Otherwise it's been very dependable, good at plowing through drift left by snow xxxxxxat my driveway. Good under carriage clearance. Great heating and cooling system.

April,2025...I needed to find a new toyota 4-runner as soon as possible and called many dealers. I have been buying Toyota vehicles since the year 2000. My wife and I each have one. Our son has two Toyotas and our daughter has a toy 4-runner. In addition to that, My sister has a 2025 toyota highlander. We are definitely a Toyota Family.

This is my 3rd Prius. For a couple years, we owned 2 Priuses (Prii?) at one time: a Green 2007 Base model with cloth seats and then added a Red 2009 Touring model with leather seats. I started driving for Uber/Lyft in the '09 Prius in Jan of 2015. The Chicago Uber/Lyft mileage rates were pretty low, so having a car that averaged 50 mpg was a plus. Then, after selling the '07, we traded in the '09 for the 2012 PPI. Bought it in Nov of 2018 at a Chicago Warehouse Dealer. It was in perfect shape and had tinted windows. Then in 2022 we moved from Chicago to Florida and bought a house with Solar Panels. I added Instacart to my Gig work and most of the time, my deliveries are on electric only miles. Even doing Gig work....I average only about $25 a week in Gas costs. In all 3 Prii....I've never needed any major repairs. I change the oil every 5k miles and have never needed new brakes yet on any of them since I do my best to use the coasting/regeneration method of braking.....which I believe extends the life of the brakes. Only regret is: the car has HEATED seats.....which was great in Chicago, but now here in Florida....wish they were Air Conditioned seats instead! I already have my eyes set on the new 2023 Prius Plug in (Prime?)....but will wait for them to come on the used car market. My current 2012 PPI will be too old for rideshare in 2027....so I have a good 3 more years to do research.

Craig kept us informed of the status, and when it became available again, we were able to grab it. We had a very specific set of features we were looking for. Craig was very patient and helpful throughout the entire process. I would definitely buy from Romeo Toyota again, and would recommend Craig to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car.

My son and originally went to a local Toyota dealer and was not impressed by the service from the very start. As I had bought several cars from them. Not mentioning any names specifically. However the entire experience at Romeo was excellent. My older son whom had been in the field for over 17+ years stepped in and opened up communication with y’all and from that moment we were able to get my younger son the best deal ever! I bought this car used with under 40,000 miles in 2014. I have been driving it ever since and currently have 272,000 miles on it. After multiple accidents and repairs it has been an extremely reliable and dependable car. Up until 250,000 I would have still driven it across multiple states. My biggest complaint is the quality of paint and the exterior design being so poor. Last year I replaced the timing belt and that was the biggest cost I've had on the car. It is beginning to throw check engine lights randomly and is burning oil - oil needs to be refilled every 1000-1500 miles now. Overall it is still a dependable vehicle around town if you are managing the oil.

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.
