I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

This is best Prius I have owned. The safety features allow me to be a better driver. The furl economy is amazing - 58 mpg on the last tank of gas with in town driving!

This car was purchased as a gift for my son to use to travel to his job out of town. He has a lease and I didn’t want him to rack up miles on his other car/lease. As a previous Prius owner, I know he would love another Prius to use daily. After this reliable vehicle is paid off, I plan to buy one for my other son and then a new one for myself! A straight forward economy car to save money but it is very comfortable and fun to drive because it's so light. The gas savings at almost 50mpg are amazing.

I have had the opportunity to purchase 5 Nissan vehicles since 2000 with 3 being mine , 1 being my granddaughters and 1 being my daughters . this is the third prius we have bought new. '01, '06 and '16. each time the car was a little larger, engine a little more powerful and better fuel economy each time. each has been very dependable - none have never left us broken down on roadside after total of around 410,000 miles of driving them. original tires are low rolling resistance, so make sure you get low rolling resistance tires when replacing the tires as they make big difference in mpg. my truck is more comfortable, but it weighs over 6000 lbs and gets 10 mpg, so only use it when necessary. have taken the prius on 5000 mile trips with no discomforts to speak of. (i am 6-1, 250#) another car i have has much better performance, but it passes everything but gas stations. all in all, even though i have 7 cars, the prius is my daily driver and the '16 has averaged about 55 mpg overall. just wish it was available in a convertible :)
