Ty Griffith was my sales person and he kept me informed during the search for my wishlist of a 2-3 year old SUV. He seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicle the dealership found for me even though it was not the brand sold new at Dan Hecht. The buying experience was very good considering the dealership was undergoing construction at the time. Everyone at the dealership was helpful and friendly!
They were helpful and followed up. I only had e-mail and phone contact with them, but it was positive. I intended to visit that area but purchased a truck prior to doing so.
2018 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited Review
It is a dream to drive this car

Everything about this car is fantastic. It is quiet and so comfortable. Makes long trips enjoyable. It is so dependable, and I never have to worry about our safety with this car. We are a Toyota family...We love our Toyota’s.’’’’’’
I'm getting excellent fuel mileage averaging 57 MPG in the summer and 52 in the winter. My only complaint is the interior space. We feel a shortage of legroom in the front and rear. Entering and exiting the vehicle is difficult.
For the most part very pleased with this car. I had the 2006 model before. This car is missing the ability to open the very back windows electronically. In order to open I have to crawl in back or open the rear to manually flip the levers.
The previous version had a much sturdier cup holder that pulled out from the dash. This one is more flexible and thus takes navigating to get drinks in and out while driving.
8 months in AC quit working and I was told there was a hole in the compressor and that it must have been caused by damage so not covered under warranty. Seem like such a part that sits inside the hood made of extremely thick metal should be able to withstand some road debris.
The seats and ride are very comfortable on both short and long distance trips. Handles the wind very well. The gas mileage is great, averaging 30 mpg all round driving. The vehicle has nearly as much room as the Highlander for less money.
I had a 2017 model that was totaled, however my wife who was driving it did not have a scratch except the pains from the accident. All air bags opened instantly and the seat belt tightened immediately preventing her head hitting the steering or windshield. The other car was also totaled , however the other driver had several broken bones. Therefore we decided to buy the same car and same model but the 2019.
I was surprised at the gas mileage I get on the highway! At times 30 plus miles to the gallon. It has pickup when I need it too. I added a trailer hitch because it is needed at times. Car pulls a trailer fine! Seats are very comfortable. I like the dashboard arrangement of the 2015 Rav4 that my wife has than the arrangement of the 2017 model. Downside, turning on a street at night. The headlights do not illuminate the area that I am turning into very well. Love the radar, works very well on the highway.
