I found out about the frame replacement due to holes in too late and was able to get in on it at the very end. So, mine has an upgraded commercial frame which has zero holes in it from the manufacturing process. They also did the front-end new ball joints and a bunch of other things. Was a Great deal. Now approaching 140,000 miles and still running strong. No oil leaks on the engine or transmission. Regular maintenance on it has been done to keep it in great shape!

Purchased the 08 tundra 8 years ago with 141k miles. Sitting at 243k now and it still drives the same as when I bought it. Other than maintenance & the things I wanted to add the Only thing I’ve replaced is the ac pump. For a half ton pickup I wouldn’t go with any other make. Would take it anywhere…tows and drives great while it still looks good going down the road!

I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

I was stressed about getting a car during an inventory shortage, however, this experience could not have been easier! Great experience so far with the Tacoma. Have loved the ride and comfort it provides, with the only negative so far being some of the quality of the interior isn’t the greatest. The door panels specifically are loose feeling on the handles, seems cheap for a $55k truck.

I have been buying new and used vehicles for over 40 years. After making calls to many dealerships trying to find the elusive Toyota Tundra Hybrid I came across McGee Toyota of Claremont, NH. During the entire car buying process with Amber, it was apparent she was dedicated to her career. Amber handled all of my communications with professionalism and most importantly, with integrity. The Gen 4 Tacoma is very nice. There are a few issues that Toyota should have never allowed. First, as in the Gen 3, the drivers side assist handle is missing. That is a nice feature that should be in the truck. Second, the glove box door looseness is an embarrassment. It is disgustingly loose. I was able to buy some inserts online for $11. Toyota ought to be doing that for all the trucks. Third, the electronic stuff is WAY WAY WAY overboard. Way too much and way to confusing and way to difficult to shut off and keep off. I want a truck I can drive, not wrestle with the electronics. The notion of not being able to buy desired options is terrible. I do not need a power tailgate and inability to open the tail gate without a key. Either pay $4000 for some thinks you want or pay $8000 to get lots of stuff you don't want just to get 1 or 2 things you do want. The electronic dashboard is way overboard. Another 'feature' that is way overboard and can not be simplified. This is a truck, how about some analog gauges? The good part is the ride is amazingly solid and smooth, performance is pretty snappy for a relatively heavy vehicle and I expect Toyota longevity. Overall, the basic truck is nice, but the extra stuff is unwanted, unnecessary and adds complexity that is not desired

When I purchased my truck the sales and finance department were amazing. I was about to pull out of the parking lot and the finance manager came running out to let me know they just got a better interest rate! I went back in and a few minutes later I was driving away with a better deal! After getting the truck home I received a call from the salesman asking if I was happy and how my experience was. I let him know I was happy but that the aftermarket bar light wasnt working and that I didnt particularly care but he sent me a new light anyway! I cant say enough about this dealership!

I had few cars in my life and got service from several car dealerships, but can absolutely say that my best experience was at Georgis Auto Sales on Andrei's ownership who gave me the best service and the best deal! I purchased a car that I was super happy about and decided to sent in to relatives to Russia who were looking to get same car. I will definitely make more deals with Georgis Auto Sales in the future!

I have owned a total of 6 Toyota 4x4 truck's in my lifetime I have previously owned -1985 extra cab 4x4 automatic transmission -1991 extra cab 4x4 automatic transmission -1991 standard cab 4x4 manual transmission I currently own 3 more Toyota 4x4's -1997 extra-cab 4x4 manual transmission -1999 extra-cab 4x4 automatic transmission -2003 4 door 4x4 automatic transmission My 2003 double cab is by far a much nicer truck of course it has more room than the extra cab, is more comfortable to drive (it drives and rides more like a luxury car than a truck. My 2003 Tacoma is very reliable and gets great gas mileage. I love my Toyota trucks I highly recommend Toyota Tacoma.... Best trucks EVER!

I love my Tundra which I have owned for 12 years and over 100,000 miles (now at 155,000 +). I just spent $2650 to get the frame repaired from corrosion. The area just forward of the leaf spring mounting has a plate mounted on the inside with rivets holding it to the main portion of the frame. This creates a space where water can remain and cause corrosion. My truck is babied and garage kept and still suffered this issue. I am an engineer and consider this issue a design problem. Toyoto should be ashamed of themselves. When I contacted them they refused to help because 10 years ago they recalled the truck, inspected it and recoated the problem areas. They should have advised owners to check, clean up and recoat this area yearly.

I spent quite a bit of time at Georgi's yesterday and today looking at used Tacoma. These guys are awesome, they know Toyotas! I was getting discouraged by lack of knowledge from even the dealership when I had specific questions about older pickups but these guys have all the answers and don't pressure you with the typical kiss-xxx car sales pitch. They also have an amazing fleet of the highly sought after used Tacomas. Andre and Georgi were super friendly and took time to talk with my bank on Saturday morning, supported my plans to finance, went over all the numbers with me, came down in price a bit (even though their prices are highly competitive) and let me test drive the vehicle without a passenger (which I really appreciate). Once I chose a vehicle, they gave me tons of details regarding the history, where it came from and the accident it was in - even showed pictures of when it was wrecked. These guys are doing great work and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal on a reliable Toyota!

Bought new in San Diego area 2/'04 for $23,056 OTD. V-6, 5-speed, SR-5 Access cab. 91,000 miles as of 3/'23. I Completely standard. Seats are hard on the back, but I use a "McCarty" metal frame orthopedic seat and that fixed the problem. The manual gearchange is notchy, not as good as most others I've driven. First gear a bit higher than I like. I have driven it with the bed full of equipment and towing a Buick LeSabre and never felt underpowered. The 3.4 V-6 has adequate power and is very smooth. I average 20 mpg. No repairs, and never in snow and almost never in rain. I do my own maintenance and the truck has proven very inexpensive to own. It's beautifully made, in Gary, Indiana. I wish it had had the option of a 4-liter Diesel. A wonderful truck and great value for the money.

These guys are great! They are honest, low pressure, and knowledgeable. I bought a beautiful 2013 Tundra for a great price and have zero regrets. I test drove it twice on two different occasions while I was shopping around and they were totally understanding and accommodating. I highly recommend them!

Bought mine new. Love this truck. In 2022 I was in an accident, hit front and rear. Only damaged the bumpers. No Insurance Co Approved Body Shop would repair it (!!??) so Insurance Co agreed to Total it and allow me to retain Title. It only had 84k on Odo. They valued it at $19,500! Salvage value at $3,500. Got the parts online for $600 and paid a shop $500 to install everything. I’ll never sell it.

I bought my 2006 Tundra new - ordered to spec. It has 200K on it with nothing more than basic maintenance. Poor beast has never had a garage - my lady's sedan always gets that honor. It has taken us across the country from duty station to duty station more times than I can count. It has towed everything from trailers to boats to sedans on trailers and has driven through every inclement weather from hurricanes to blizzards - and never let me down. Not flashy - just gets it done. I still laugh every time I see some bumptious wanna-be-tough guy in a new Dodge Ram driving fast in a parking lot. Ever notice how you don't see many old Dodge trucks - because most are junk 7 to 10 years after they roll off the line. Then notice how many 30 year old Toyotas you see on the road - quietly rolling along.

I bought the truck new. I have changed oil, had regular service, and never had a breakdown. If you don't take care of your vehicle, it will fail.

This vehicle is a 2004. It has been very reliable. It is a five speed manual transmission V6. It has enough power. The only fault I can give is (like all Toyota Standards they often haven't be double clutched to get them in reverse. Other than regular maintenance it's been a great vehicle.

If you want extreme reliability in a small truck this is it. Best used small truck ever and very comfortable. I've heard of these trucks going more than 500 thousand miles with regular maintenance.

I purchased a used 2006 Tundra just for local driving…. It’s more reliable than my 2021 Chevy… I have 171k on it and use it more than my new car. I know… I will be purchasing a new tundra when my Chevy is paid off

2004, purchased with 130,000 miles, now has 198,000, miles. Only major repair was ball joints. Watch out for those, that is this trucks only major Achilles heal. Consistently hauls its max or close each week in water, only for a short distance, but still. Pulled my 88' Toyota 40 miles on a two lane highway. Deserves the hype.
