I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

After 15 years with my previous Tacoma TRD Offroad, I bought the same vehicle to replace it. I really wasn't ready to replace it but the 24's don't excite me with the 4 cylinder turbo and I figured the longer I wait, the harder it would be to find a discontinued 6 cylinder in new condition. I got lucky and found a 3 month old 23 with 1,400 miles on it. I think Toyota screwed up with the 24 models, they cheapened them in many ways, crap engine, thinner frame, less underbody protection. Basically, they made them for people who don't want or need a truck but like the image.

I just want to give a shout out to Mr. Uton Brooks at Palm Beach Toyota. He was very transparent and honest throughout the whole process of buying this car. I originally wanted the RAV 4 XLE premium but I changed my mind at the last minute because I drive over 100 miles daily for work. Mr. Uton was able to secure a hybrid for me and I got it within a one week time frame. I got the exact color I wanted. Thank you Mr. Uton for your hard work. He went above and beyond to help me out. Remote connect is cool. But it does not reporting your windows are open. Secondly if the car has started remotely and you open the doors. Car shuts off. They say it’s a safety feature. It’s not because I’m 2024 models that problem is not present

Started looking for a 2023 Highlander hybrid eight months ago. Tried every single Toyota dealer in the Phoenix area. Only Tommy at Avondale would sell a car at MSRP. We gave him a $500 fully refundable deposit, told him exactly what we wanted, and he stayed with us. Finally our car came through, and the transaction was the smoothest I have ever experienced with a dealer. Fast, efficient, and completely honest. We didn't see anybody but Tommy. He handled everything. Four weeks ago he gave me an oral indication of what our 2019 Highlander would be worth in trade, subject to inspection. He gave us the higher end of what all the bluebooks said the car was worth in trade, and THOUSANDS more than Tempe Toyota offered. And he honored the price when he saw the car for the first time when we consummated the transaction. My wife drives nothing but Toyotas and we will never buy one from anybody but this dealer and this man.

Was looking for a mid-size truck to replace a big Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 and a small 90's model Chevy S-10 pickup. Was interested in the new gen Nissan Frontier but went with the Tacoma. My first ever Tacoma truck. A 2022 SR with the V-6 motor and SX package. Purchased it used with about 9,000 miles on it. Overall I really like the size and style of the vehicle. The previous owner put a leveling kit and wheel spaces on it. As well as 285 AT tires. It has that go anywhere look. And while it has the power, the tranny is lackluster. And it rides like a truck which is good and bad. I've had a lot of compliments on it so it's obvious there are a lot of Taco fans out there. I got it at a fair deal and you just can't beat the reliability factor. Probably won't be my last Tacoma because this one meets or exceeds most all my expectations. Happy camper here!

Great little truck. will pretty much do all you need. Although comfort and engine are very lackluster. If you're tall, 6' and up. Buy the seat jackers you will need them. Autostart is very clunky as the engine shuts off when you open the door (so basically the same wear and tear as AutoStart/stop). the toyota app is not even on the table if you don't pay the subscription.

Krystal Marshall was our sales person and Brandon Bonge handled the financing and paperwork. However, Loren Lookingbill was the outstanding star of our experience at Jeff Hunter Toyota. Krystal was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She was not your typical pushy, manipulative car sales person. I told her what we wanted, it was not in stock but she found it and we agreed on an out-the-door price with very little haggling. However, the RAV-4 we originally agreed to buy was not available. Krystal found a replacement and after a modification in the agreed upon out-the-door price, we happily made the deal. Brandon was also friendly and knowledgeable but he made an error on the paperwork. A Mechanical Breakdown policy which I did not want or agree to purchase was added to the final sale. This oversight added $2,500 to the cost of the vehicle. I was equally responsible for this error because I did not insist on reviewing a hard copy of the paperwork before we signed it electronically. So In my opinion, Brandon still rates 5-stars. When I discovered the $2,500 error the next day, I called the dealership to speak with Brandon. However, Brandon was not there and Loren Lookingbill took my call. I explained the problem and Loren took care of it without hesitation. A refund was received a few days later. A copy of the Bill of Sale was not included in our paperwork. All the information on the Bill of Sale was included in the financing contract so I was not concerned. However, our auto insurance company wanted a copy of the Bill of Sale. I contacted Loren and he emailed me a copy within minutes of my request. Loren was not involved in the original sale or responsible for the problems I encountered. However, he stepped up, immediately resolved the issues and kept me a satisfied customer. If the rest of the employees at Jeff Hunter Toyota treat their customers like Krystal, Brandon and Loren, then I look forward to patronizing this establishment in the future.

My 2010 had 317,000 miles when I bought my 2021. I absolutely love the changes that toyota has made. My 2021 is a perfect truck for comfort and reliability.

Great experience so far with the Tacoma. Have loved the ride and comfort it provides, with the only negative so far being some of the quality of the interior isn’t the greatest. The door panels specifically are loose feeling on the handles, seems cheap for a $55k truck.

No sure why it took me so long to discover the Toyota Tacoma but I'm sure glad I did. But after pricing out the 2024 Tacoma 4x4 the way I wanted it and adding in dealer markup with the wait time I decided to explore the 2023. I cast a wide net and found exactly what I wanted in a full loaded 2023 Tacoma 4x4 Sport in RED owned by St Cloud Toyota dealership in Minnasota. Purchased thru Waite Park Auto & Sport with Travis and Mitch handling the sale to me. By FAR the BEST automobile purchase experience to date. I have bought and sold over 40 vehicles since 1972. They both exceeded my every expectation. I flew NY to MN and drove the truck back 1400 miles to Rowe MA. What a great truck and I expect it to deliver the solid reputation as the best selling and most reliable mid size truck 14 years running. Love the 3.5 six engine, the ability to manually shift and the overall solid feel on the highway or dirt country roads. Looks like I'm a Toyota Tacoma fan member. Anyone want to buy a perfect and AZ clean 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0L auto, extended cab with 6'bed RED ( I only buy RED trucks) 2WD. The 1995 Ford ranger has been sold.

I have 89,000 miles on my 2017 Tacoma SR. It has been a great truck except for a couple small issues and one larger issue. The big problem started 3 months ago when the AC compressor started seizing up. Took it to the Toyota dealer for service. I have been waiting on an OEM compressor for over 3 months. Unable to get one even though I had to pay $1000.00 dollars up front to the dealer before they would order it.

I am a repeat customer and the Mazda vehicle speaks for itself... but GREAT customer Service cannot. When I was shopping to renew my lease, I was able to contact Charles Clark in VW - as I thought I might switch from Mazda to VW. When we could not get the pricing to work, Charles sent me to Ravi Patel. He was helpful, kind and very knowledgeable about all the products in my inquiries. Through the deal, I also met with Joel Cruz. He was a whiz at getting me the best price, the best vehicle and provided the best service. Now, I do not live close... I live about 35 miles away... but I will ALWAYS come back to Brunswick for this high quality of service. Kudos to Brunswick for doing it right! This is my 3rd Toyota truck 2022 (5th Toyota) I’ve only had this for a week and so far I’m loving the way it drives. All the plastic on interior, not so much. It looks okay but feel cheap. My biggest complaint so far is the all the cup holders are a tad to small for my water bottle, which I take everywhere I go and the color options in the model I wanted. I may have to ask my grandson to trade me back for my 2002 model or perhaps trade up when the new one comes out… we’ll see

I was in the market for a small truck. I've owned lots of Hondas over the years with great success but I didn't like the way the Ridgeline looked. I knew Tacomas were known for reliability and resale value. I bought the off road model and so far, so good after a year and a half. I paid stcker price when they were selling for 2 or 3k over MSRP. It's probably still worth as much as I paid.

For the size of motor it's surprisingly powerful. The transmission is smart and performs when needed, use the manual shift when needed. The ride is smooth, the suspension superior on the freeway handling anything I ask of it nicely. Off road it has traction features galore, nothing left for complaints. Best truck I ever owned.
