After 15 years with my previous Tacoma TRD Offroad, I bought the same vehicle to replace it. I really wasn't ready to replace it but the 24's don't excite me with the 4 cylinder turbo and I figured the longer I wait, the harder it would be to find a discontinued 6 cylinder in new condition. I got lucky and found a 3 month old 23 with 1,400 miles on it. I think Toyota screwed up with the 24 models, they cheapened them in many ways, crap engine, thinner frame, less underbody protection. Basically, they made them for people who don't want or need a truck but like the image.

Service Rep - explained everything well and was thorough. Helped me take advantage of the deals they had on four tire replacement. Service saw a small leak in my coolant tank and I was able to come back the following week to have the warranty cover the work

Remote connect is cool. But it does not reporting your windows are open. Secondly if the car has started remotely and you open the doors. Car shuts off. They say it’s a safety feature. It’s not because I’m 2024 models that problem is not present

It was a normal buying process. It took about three hours. Cylus was a good salesperson. I knew exactly what car I wanted so that process was easy.

Great experience so far with the Tacoma. Have loved the ride and comfort it provides, with the only negative so far being some of the quality of the interior isn’t the greatest. The door panels specifically are loose feeling on the handles, seems cheap for a $55k truck.

Great experience buying my first car at Longo Toyota in El Monte. Was helped out by Simon and Brandon they are the best ! they explain everything to you and are not shady like other places. I Will no longer go to small used car dealerships that have only been bad experiences for me, and they overcharge. My first experience with Wondries Toyota service department was so professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and kept me updated on my defective 2024 Prius Prime vehicle.. Apparently, my engine broke in half which is unheard of. This is the 1st time I’ve purchased a LEMON car from Toyota. Nelson (service agent) is so helpful, understanding, caring and making sure everything goes smoothly. He knows what I'm going through is very stressful and having to wait over 30 days for the engine to arrive doesn’t make things better. He took good care of me and I’m very impressed with him. I have nothing but good things to say about Nelson. He's the guy to go too. As for the management, I give them my utmost respect because they put the customer first. I have a friend that mentioned John Kan to me before I even went to the dealership. She told me how great of a manager he is. I totally agree with what my friend said about him. At the beginning, I didn’t have the opportunity to meet John in person. I did talk to him over the phone and he made sure I’m taken care of. There were 2 things that warranty didn’t cover but he went out of his way just to make it happen. If it wasn't because of John nothing is possible. This is excellent customer service just like Nordstrom. I’m so glad I finally had a chance to meet John and thank him in person. This is a go to dealership for service work or making a purchase. They provide excellent customer service and make sure everyone that leaves there is happy with their service. You won't get this kind of service from any other dealership like them.

No sure why it took me so long to discover the Toyota Tacoma but I'm sure glad I did. As a long time Ford truck owner I became disappointed in the direction they were headed along with some reliability issues going into 2024. Hello Tacoma. But after pricing out the 2024 Tacoma 4x4 the way I wanted it and adding in dealer markup with the wait time I decided to explore the 2023. I cast a wide net and found exactly what I wanted in a full loaded 2023 Tacoma 4x4 Sport in RED owned by St Cloud Toyota dealership in Minnasota. Purchased thru Waite Park Auto & Sport with Travis and Mitch handling the sale to me. By FAR the BEST automobile purchase experience to date. I have bought and sold over 40 vehicles since 1972. They both exceeded my every expectation. I flew NY to MN and drove the truck back 1400 miles to Rowe MA. What a great truck and I expect it to deliver the solid reputation as the best selling and most reliable mid size truck 14 years running. Love the 3.5 six engine, the ability to manually shift and the overall solid feel on the highway or dirt country roads. Looks like I'm a Toyota Tacoma fan member. Anyone want to buy a perfect and AZ clean 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0L auto, extended cab with 6'bed RED ( I only buy RED trucks) 2WD. The 1995 Ford ranger has been sold.

Purchased this truck new ten years ago, four door, six foot bed, towing package- fuel mileage is not the best (16mpg avg) due to the towing gear ratio, however I tow a lot of boats up to 22 feet and have never had a problem. Currently have 80,000 miles with only routine manufacturer recommended maintenance. Only negative, my wife finds the truck too long (19 feet) for the mall parking spaces.

The Gen 4 Tacoma is very nice. There are a few issues that Toyota should have never allowed. First, as in the Gen 3, the drivers side assist handle is missing. That is a nice feature that should be in the truck. Second, the glove box door looseness is an embarrassment. It is disgustingly loose. I was able to buy some inserts online for $11. Toyota ought to be doing that for all the trucks. Third, the electronic stuff is WAY WAY WAY overboard. Way too much and way to confusing and way to difficult to shut off and keep off. I want a truck I can drive, not wrestle with the electronics. The notion of not being able to buy desired options is terrible. I do not need a power tailgate and inability to open the tail gate without a key. Either pay $4000 for some thinks you want or pay $8000 to get lots of stuff you don't want just to get 1 or 2 things you do want. The electronic dashboard is way overboard. Another 'feature' that is way overboard and can not be simplified. This is a truck, how about some analog gauges? The good part is the ride is amazingly solid and smooth, performance is pretty snappy for a relatively heavy vehicle and I expect Toyota longevity. Overall, the basic truck is nice, but the extra stuff is unwanted, unnecessary and adds complexity that is not desired

So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.

Was looking for a mid-size truck to replace a big Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 and a small 90's model Chevy S-10 pickup. Was interested in the new gen Nissan Frontier but went with the Tacoma. My first ever Tacoma truck. A 2022 SR with the V-6 motor and SX package. Purchased it used with about 9,000 miles on it. Overall I really like the size and style of the vehicle. The previous owner put a leveling kit and wheel spaces on it. As well as 285 AT tires. It has that go anywhere look. And while it has the power, the tranny is lackluster. And it rides like a truck which is good and bad. I've had a lot of compliments on it so it's obvious there are a lot of Taco fans out there. I got it at a fair deal and you just can't beat the reliability factor. Probably won't be my last Tacoma because this one meets or exceeds most all my expectations. Happy camper here!

I just recently purchased a Mercedes M-Class from CarMax at Costa Mesa. For the size of motor it's surprisingly powerful. The transmission is smart and performs when needed, use the manual shift when needed. The ride is smooth, the suspension superior on the freeway handling anything I ask of it nicely. Off road it has traction features galore, nothing left for complaints. Best truck I ever owned.

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma TrailHunter is a special vehicle. It is a definite upgrade from any Toyota Tacoma ever produced. The list of improvements and options is too long to specify. It has everything you need for your daily commute and off-road adventures plus extra. Technology and convenience built in. The only drawback is the interior is a bit tight particularly in the back along with the price being a bit elevated, but you should be able to negotiate a better end-of-the-model year deal.
