Being from out of state I had reservations as to how I would be treated once the deal was made and paid for. However: I quickly learned that the dealer was up front, repaired what they said they would, and made the transaction and shipping very smooth. A particular thanks to Rob Venlet, your help and honesty is greatly appreciated! Robert F. Brown Clearfield, Pa.

I recently purchased a car from Reina, and I must say that it was the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a car. Very friendly and I got a great price on my new car. It was fun to look at all the exotics they had too while I was waiting to get the deal done. I would definitely recommend this dealer.

A beautiful car and a great ride with the top down

I had this car from 1989 through 1994. It was a beautiful car and a delight to drive with the top down. It handled the curves very well and had good acceleration. However, it broke frequently and had all types of unusual problems. There are lots of electrical problems and a good number of problems with the motor.

Great online car buying experience
by Gordon from Seattle, WA
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.1 (122 reviews)
I recently purchased a very hard to find car from Rob at GR Auto Gallery. It was my first foray into buying a car online and I was initially apprehensive about buying a car located 2000 miles away sign unseen. Since I couldn't find a similar car in my home market, I decided to take the plunge. The large number of high quality pictures on GR's website really helped alleviate any concerns about what was going to be delivered. While not quite the same as seeing it in person, they had photos of all the angles and critical areas I was concerned about. Rob was responsive, straight forward, and easy to work with. We quickly negotiated a fair price, worked out the paperwork, and transferred funds. Rob then handed me over to John to coordinate delivery of the vehicle. John was able to quickly find a truck headed my way and booked transport at a very reasonable rate. The trucking company, OK Auto Transport, did an amazing job with the delivery, dropping the car off at my driveway 2 days ahead of schedule, on a Sunday. The car arrived as described in the listing and photos. My only complaint about the whole transaction was that the car arrived a little dusty inside and out, probably due to sitting in their warehouse for several months. A quick cleaning before shipping would have been appreciated, but this is a minor gripe. From first contact to delivery these guys were a class act. This was perhaps the easiest and most satisfying car purchasing experience I've ever had and I look forward to working with Rob, John and the rest of the GR team in the future.

I have purchased five different vehicles for my family over the years, most of which being repairable vehicles, but my daughter's was a running & driving trade in. With every vehicle I've purchased from George, it's been a smooth process of finding exactly what we were looking for, including parts and labor, within a reasonable time frame and our budget. I continuously refer friends and family to East Coast Auto Source for their parts and vehicle purchases.

DON'T JUDGE THIS DEALERSHIP BY PAST EXPERIENCES!!!

Let me begin with this by saying, I believe that there are many people who have a negative view of car dealerships, and the people who work for them. As for my experience I can only speak for myself! It was hard not to judge before I even started with my experience after seeing negative review after review!! I want to give the sincerest of thanks to VIP Honda and most of all Nato for an absolutely unbelievable experience! His professionalism and patience with my choice of car made my 3 hours of journey to your dealership worth the entire trip! He went to great lengths with me; granted all of my requests in my examination of an, 09 Honda Civic Si. After polite and cordial negotiations with one another, he ultimately earned my business. I'm so happy with my choice. Not once feeling any pressure to do anything that I didn't feel comfortable with!!! Thank you so much Nato for everything; I will never forget my purchase experience and chats of Fútbol! I highly recommend purchasing from VIP Honda! ... And consider, sometimes you can't let negative reviews effect your judgment. Had I determined off the bat that I was going to have a bad experience, I would have never had the courage to call VIP Honda, and ultimately not have ended up with one of the best experience and purchase I've ever made! All the Best to VIP Honda in the future! Continue the greatest professionalism! PS... Best 3 hour drive back home, EVER!!! Sincerely, Satisfied Customer

GRAG is the best! I purchased a beautiful 1973 Trans Am from them and they were awesome throughout the entire process. Rob Venlet was very responsive to all of my inquiries, as well as being honest and straightforward. John Hoekstra was very helpful in working with the driver in the pickup process, and Angie Rodriguez was extremely accommodating in expediting my title paperwork to me. These folks are honest, trustworthy professionals who truly care about their client's satisfaction! GRAG will be my first choice for any future classic car purchases!

Triumph TR6: The end of an era
by 50Caddy from Pinecrest,FL

The TR6 has a stiff clutch, stiff steering, stiff suspension, a big six cylinder engine with twin carburetors, a great exhaust note, lots of low-end torque for fast acceleration from low RPM's, big wheels and tires, a convertible top and fabulous styling. It was, and still is, the perfect traditional British sportscar for the true enthusiast. I have owned mine for 45 years. It is, as ever, a joy to behold! My car has a factory-authorized but dealer-installed built-in air conditioner for warm Miami weather or whenever top-down motoring was not practical.

Selling my car

Swap was an easy process and took the anxiety out of selling my car myself. After the inspection they listed my car quickly and for a great price. The system was easy to use when inquiries started coming in and the swap team made sure both the buyer and I had all of the documentation we needed to legally hand things over. If you have an older car and aren't looking to trade it in (which was my case), Swap is a great choice!

GR Auto Gallery Review
GRautogallery in Traverse City MI
by Mike Sutter from Ramona CA
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.1 (122 reviews)
I recently purchased a 2007 Porsche Turbo from GRautogallery in Traverse City. I had been searching for a low-mileage 6-speed 997 Turbo for a while and had missed out on a few cars prior to seeing the GR listing come up on the CarGurus site. As soon as I saw the ad come up, I contacted GR and left a voice message. Cory at GR called me back immediately and we discussed the car. The images on the GR site indicated that the car was in very good condition so I decided to make an offer pending a satisfactory PPI. Traverse City has a limited number of shops capable of generating a Porsche DME report, but Cory was able to provide contact info for a shop that could generate the report. I contacted the shop and scheduled the PPI. Cory coordinated the delivery of the car to the PPI shop and the return of the vehicle to GR after the inspection. The inspection report was favorable so I decided to move forward with the purchase. I live in the San Diego area, and my work schedule was such that I couldn't find the time to fly to MI and inspect the car myself. Buying an expensive car sight-unseen was not something I ever intended to do, but this particular car was the definately the "right car" for me. So after countless questions and requests for additional photos, I took a deep breath and transferred the money to GR. I then contacted a well-known carrier to ship the car from MI to CA. Given the weather and the transport schedule in Northern MI the carrier couldn't pick the car up for 1 month. GR was kind enough to store the car indoors, covered, and hooked up to a trickle charger until the shipper could get it. Well, the car arrived today and I have no regrets. The condition of the car is exactly as it was described by GR. In this age of internet scams and outright fraud, I wouldn't normally make a deal of this magnitude without personally viewing the vehicle and the dealership, but the professionalism exhibited by GR convinced me that this was a no-risk situation. It took 5 weeks for my shipper to get the car to the west coast, but it was worth the wait. Many thanks to Cory for answering my countless texts and phone calls during the purchase process. I couldn't be happier.

Ferrari-Maserati of New England Review
The best car buying experience ever!
by Al from Warwick, RI
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.3 (18 reviews)
First let me say that I have purchased several vehicles over the past 50 years. I have found that negotiating an agreement with the management is always a nerve-racking hassle. My point is that I always do extensive research into every aspect before talking with a dealer so I am well prepared to "haggle" with the dealership to get my best deal possible. Because I am 6'8" tall and just don't fit into most cars made today, I have been purchasing full size conversion vans for the past 30 years. Unfortunately, conversion vans are almost impossible to find in New England. To make matters worse, unbeknownst to me, they stopped making the style of van that suits my needs in 2014. I now was forced to search for that nearly impossible to find used conversion van in great condition with low mileage. After months of looking, I finally saw a van on the internet at a Ferrari dealership in Massachusetts that looked interesting and just had a price drop. My wife and I decided to take the 45 minute drive to the dealership to see the van. I searched for a "friendly looking" sales person and asked if he could help me. Fortunately, Esmael Rodrigues was the person who took the van in trade and knew all the details. I explained my situation and he took my wife and me to see the van. We liked the van and went back to Esmael's office to discuss what each of us needed to make a deal happen. I asked that the sales manager be in on our negotiations from the start. While we waited for the sales manager we had a friendly conversation about our travel experiences. Somehow the traditional adversarial car buyer versus dealer conflict disappeared and it was friends talking about their past experiences. Somehow, whatever charisma we had going on increased when Chris Lozanski, the sales manager walked in. We didn't talk about the van; we talked about our interests and life experiences for quite a while. When we got back to talking about the van it was almost like we were old friends that had a shared problem that we both wanted to solve for our mutual benefit. Being a Ferrari dealership, they specialized in selling expensive, high end 2-door sports cars to a certain type of customer. Unfortunately, Chris acquired an 18' long "fancy passenger van" (that could probably fit one of his Ferrari's inside the van) as a trade in deal. The 4 year old van with 8 doors and a bed inside had been sitting on the lot for months and was not the type of vehicle Chris usually sold. Chris knew he needed to move the van that didn't fit into his normal inventory range. There was no haggling, no high pressure to buy this product or pay extra for some other service. Just friends helping each other solve a problem. We signed the papers and I gave them a certified check. Unfortunately the actual delivery of the van was a little more complicated because of differing state laws, the Christmas - New Years Holidays, and unforeseen mechanical problems. As part of the "dealer prep," they discovered a few problems that were fixed under the manufacturer’s warranty. In addition, they also replaced 4 tires and a wheel rim because they did not meet the Ferrari dealership’s exceptionally high standards for customer satisfaction. Our salesperson, Esmael Rodrigues, has to be the nicest and most considerate person we have ever done business with. We talked on the phone often (sometimes three times a day) as he explained a problem and how they were going to make sure that it was going to be resolved to their high customer satisfaction standards. Instead of sending a "runner" to perform the ordinary mundane tasks, Esmael personally drove the van everywhere to get whatever procedure needed to be accomplished. In fact, I was so impressed with Esmael that I actually designed and handmade a special gift because of his commitment to total customer satisfaction. Al Warwick, RI

Dream Car Experience
by Dan M from DealerRater.com
November 6, 2018

From the moment we laid eyes on the new C7 Corvette at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant, I knew we were hooked and that someday there would be one parked in our garage. That day happened two weeks ago. We decided now was the time and began our internet search for the car of our dreams. Sunnyside Chevrolet had the perfect car. A 2016 Stingray Z51 2LT in my color, preferred group and black wheels. I contacted the dealer and spoke with Jason Eyman. I was impressed how friendly and easy Jason was to work with, especially since I was 400 miles away. Jason took time out to make a detailed personal video of the car for me, pointing out what he thought might be some imperfections (which I still don't see). Jason was available to me 24/7 (via his personal cell phone) to answer any and all questions. We negotiated a very fair trade for my car and was able to come up with an agreeable price for the Corvette over the phone and internet. We set up a date to meet and upon arrival, we found the Corvette to be outstanding. Jason arrived early that morning to make sure the car was perfect and full of fuel. A couple a signatures and a talk with David Samples in their Finance Department made the experience hassle-free. Jason guided us every step of the way. Then took his time explaining the functions on the car and we were soon on our way home. Next time I'm in the market for another vehicle, a call to Jason Eyman at Sunnyside Chevrolet will be my first priority.

We had a great experience with Ammon at Bening. He was straight forward. We felt like he wasn't trying to do the normal car salesman pitch on us. He helped us out and got us into a 2015 Ford. I would highly recommend stopping in and seeing Ammon.
