Used Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0T SE for sale near Carson, CA

I bought a 2004 Pilot a month ago here. My salesman, Tim, knew exactly which loan to submit me for because I had no job and bad credit but a big down payment. He had me financed with no problem in minutes. A few days before I went to Carmax Burbank for a different car but with the same down payment and the saleswoman there did not do the same thing. The car was purchased in 2 hours and I was driving home. I bought the warranty tey offer which is a great bumper to bumper extended through their company. They have a 5 day return policy. I opted to return my car on day 4 to pay for the warranty in cash so as not to finance it at the very high interest rate I bought the car at. The return was also easy and everything was done in less than an hour. A month later now, I have found a few things wrong with this 2004 that seemed to have slipped past their extensive reconditioning program. I took it in with odd complaints a dealer would normally say they couldn't duplicate. They addressed them all and even gave me a loaner SUV for my babies to fit in while I waited the few days for the parts to arrive. GREAT STORE! Great customer service! And there's a play room for the kids! *Avoid the coffee!! It is terrible!!!

This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

Our salesmen, Miguel and Oscar were very helpful as we went thru this car-buying process, Miguel even helped me set up my bluetooth before I left for home .......... I would recommend Car Max- this is our 2nd vehicle purchase at this location.

I absolutely love this car and all it’s features even though it doesn’t open and close trunk via keyphobe. Kids love the car especially the panoramic sunroof.

We were happy with the service and time it took to complete our purchase. A sales rep (Jerry) worked with us over the phone and had many documents ready to go and prior to our arrival.

Good all - around vehicle...decent power, roomy and comfortable interior, quiet and smooth ride, good handling and nice steering feel, great gas mileage, good visibility... Freeway passing requires a bit of patience and planning...

I?ve been receiving emails regarding the cars, (MBZ S550 n Audi A8), that I?m currently interested in They have been updating me regarding the vehicle.

It's a medium-sized SUV. It's not a Porsche, Audi or MB. It is comfortable, reliable, the size and capacity I sought. In two years I've put on ~24K miles and absolutely no problems. My wife is handicapped and uses a walker. She thought the car was comfortable and we made two round trips from Hartford, CT to Key West. In the last 60 years We've had a Beetle, Passat, and a VW Bus that carried our family of four and 2 Dachshunds aacross the country and back to Connecticut - Twice!

I came in to buy the Passat that I was leasing because I loved the car so much! They made the buying process painless and pleasant.

Great car, quiet ride mostly for an SUV, glad I bought it, tested Honda CRV, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorrento, Chevrolet Equinox, Terrain, and many others, at that time I could not make a comparison with Toyota since there were none to be tested, the Tiguan stood above the others

A lot of the negative reviews on this place are a bit silly. In my experience from this past weekend, if you listen to the salesperson who you are assigned, bring all the documents requested, make appointments, and come fully prepared, you will have an excellent experience just as I did. I placed a 7-day hold on the exact car I wanted, and made an appointment to come test drive it and apply for financing a few days later. I spoke with my salesperson, Jerry Neyland, a few times on the phone before coming in, and he always had the answers I needed. He advised me on what documentation to bring with me, and when I arrived for my test drive appointment Jerry has the car ready for me. We took a quick test drive, I fell in love with the car, and we started the financing application. Since I brought everything we'd need, it was a BREEZE! In total, I was maybe at CarMax for 2 hours maximum. I had been stressing over it all week, only to find out it was all so, so simple. Jerry's customer service is second to none--he was friendly, quick, and understanding. He kept me informed every step of the way, and not once did I feel he was putting pressure on me or trying to "sell" me on anything. CarMax Buena Park gets 5 out of 5 stars for me, and Jerry Neyland gets 6 out of 5 stars! Overall an excellent experience in every regard.

I chose this Tiguan as it is large enough for me to carry my skis inside. It is extremely good on gas. It is very quiet on the road handles very well is very comfortable and is loaded with many safety and convenience features that I did not know I would even appreciate. It is very comfortable and enjoyable to drive.

Ms. Stredder worked diligently with me, my husband, and my brother, (who she also sold a car to months earlier). She was very patient, thorough and demonstrated delightful customer service skills. In fact, my first car of choice was a Mercedes Benz GLE, however, Ms. Stredder?s dedication to provide the best experience at Audi is what detoured us away from Mercedes and into your dealership. It?s a workforce like Ms. Stredder that made a difference, both for your dealership and for your customers. My husband and I were very pleased with the smooth, `no-nonsense? approach Ms. Stredder provided, accompanied by the relaxed and `no pressure? atmosphere there at Audi of Santa Monica. Unfortunately, at the end of our visit, your finance manager devastated our pleasant experience. Mr. Michael Williamson completed the transaction with the final maintenance and service portion. Upon entering his office, he demonstrated an unfriendly, arrogant demeanor. He rambled through the finances in a disinterested and irritated manner. Ms. Stredder had given us a deal which included maintenance in writing. Mr. Williamson called her into the room, unpleasantly, demonstrating rude body language by rolling of the eyes and grunts. He spoke to her in an entitled, rude manner. He scolded Ms. Stredder in his office, in front of his customers for making a deal in writing. If fact, Ms. Stredder?s agreement was what lead us into your dealership to begin with. Regardless of the circumstances, representatives need to be aware of their surroundings while on duty and exhibit a professional manner at all times, remembering that they represent the organization which employs them, in this case, Audi. Mr. Williamson presented a poor representation of Audi by acting unprofessional towards Ms. Stredder in front of customers, which made both my husband and I very uncomfortable while in the room. The room soon turned silent and hostile. Despite Mr. Williamson?s unprofessionalism, Ms. Stredder kindly nodded her head, with a pleasant smile, and apologetic, she notified him that she was going to speak with the manager. Please remind your staff, that all matters with other employees should always be handled behind closed doors and not in front of your customers. We are confident and optimistic that even behind closed doors, employees are treated respectfully.

Nice riding vehicle EXCEPT it has a hesitation issue when you step on the gas from a standstill. Happens most when the "stop/start" is active, less when you turn it off but it still hesitates. Dealer has no answer other than it is normal and we can't find anything. Others have voiced same concern, recall?

I have a 2021 Tiguan SE 4 Motion, I have the car for over a year and with 11,000 miles. I give this car a general 4 stars. It’s a great car, very stable, great MPG, the air condition is very cold, road noise is very minimal, great driving view. Very comfortable to everyone except the driver seat, the middle armrest is low and further to the back, the door armrest is low, I have to drive with 2 small billows on long road trips. All other seats are very comfortable. The 3rd. Row is very very tight. The interior dash design is outdated, there is NO end call button on the steering wheel. Performance is good but 30-40 more horse power will definitely makes a difference. Value for money is great, but not for a resale! If you are planning to keep a car for a long time buy it. Exterior design I love it. Reliability, with less than 200 mile I had a cruise control fault, took it to the dealer it was fixed for over $1,000 but it was under warranty, two months later the problem came back again. At 8000 miles I had an engine light, EPC light (electronic power control system) something to do with the engine, and the car lost power, I took it to the dealer and there was a misfire on engine cylinder number 3. I still love my car, I would buy it again, and I hope that it will last for 10 years minimum.

Recently went to the dealership to check out a VW I saw online. I was met by Raj and he was courteous and knowledgeable. No pressure and showed me a couple of options and we ended up with a Jetta. Perfect car for my son's first car. This dealership is brand new, beautiful and clean. I highly recommend VW South Coast.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!! so comfortable, roomy, perfect for this family of 4. Pleanty of room for my 17yr and 9 yr old to have their own space. Drives like dream the options are endless. I will definitely be getting another one when it’s time to buy again!!!

30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

I got interested in this car when I rented it for a couple of days while conducting business out of town. I discovered that it suited my auto needs 100 percent, and at such a reasonable price. I am of a certain age and I find it more of a challenge to get in and out of cars. I don't like climbing up into and sliding down out of trucks and SUV. I don't like bending the slipping into sedans and having to pull myself out of them. The Tiguan comes closest to walking into the driver's sit and walking out. As for stowage, the stowage in the rear also is at perfect mid-thigh level, minimizing bending and lifting. So comfort was of highest priority. But economy comes in a close second, and so far the MPG is great. So is the pickup; it's plenty peppy.

I really love the feel and comfort of this vehicle. It serves my family of 4 well. I am the 2nd owner at 13,000 miles. Only issue so far is the oil consumption. After only driving the car 600 miles after my first oil change, check oil light came on. It was a qt. low. I am now in the process of getting it checked at my local VW dealer. Will update on outcome.

I've always absolutely loved this car for ALL of its awesomeness, but I decided to write this review today because my Tiguan saved my life. I've owned it for 5 years and enjoyed all of it - for its reliability, performance, comfor, style - you name it. But today, thanks to this car and its safety (airbags performance in particular), I am still alive, so I wanted to write this review because this car truly deserves it. Larry Yu absolutely took fantastic care of my wife and me. From our first contact all the way to walking us through the features on our new vehicle. I have nothing negative to say about my experience at all. We had been real tired of reaching out to dealer after dealer to find out they are marking up vehicles and installing needless dealer accessories on them. I must be an exception. I have had no issues with my Tiguan at all after a year and a half of ownership. Bought in October, 2021. I do notice the hesitation on start up but it’s not an issue. I had an Audi allroad and was considering the Q5 but, you get pretty much all the same features with the Tiguan that the price difference just wasn’t justified for me. Plenty of get up and space when you need it. I’m a life long VAG customer so the quirks don’t deter me. I’ve had a great experience and would recommend the Tiguan.

We bought a 2019 Tiguan and we are very impressed. We've had many Toyotas and this is our first VW. Driveability is awesome, comfort is excellent. We will wait to see if it's as long lasting as a Toyota.

2022 SEL R-Line I see the other negative reviews which is unfortunate but I have not had one issue with my 2022 Tiguan. I purchased in October 2021 and have enjoyed the car since purchase. Well appointed with all amenities that come with the Audi Q5 which I was also considering. I went with the Tiguan because all you’re getting with the Q5 is the clout. Long distance driving is amazing as the car basically drives itself. Perhaps I got lucky but I’ve not experienced anything negative so far. Would highly recommend.
