Used Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0T SE for sale near New Hanover, PA

Barry Grimm, Yanni (the Finance Manager) and the staff at Fred Beans Volkswagen were all fantastic. The process of purchasing a fantastic used car for my son went very smoothly and we were able to get him exactly what he wanted for a great price and percentage rate. There was a minor issue with the car that they took care of for us without any problem. It's a medium-sized SUV. It's not a Porsche, Audi or MB. It is comfortable, reliable, the size and capacity I sought. In two years I've put on ~24K miles and absolutely no problems. My wife is handicapped and uses a walker. She thought the car was comfortable and we made two round trips from Hartford, CT to Key West. In the last 60 years We've had a Beetle, Passat, and a VW Bus that carried our family of four and 2 Dachshunds aacross the country and back to Connecticut - Twice!

Barry is knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. He made the buying process a complete pleasure. Very efficient! No doubt will be back for our next vehicle.

I really love the feel and comfort of this vehicle. It serves my family of 4 well. I am the 2nd owner at 13,000 miles. Only issue so far is the oil consumption. After only driving the car 600 miles after my first oil change, check oil light came on. It was a qt. low. I am now in the process of getting it checked at my local VW dealer. Will update on outcome.

I bought my Tiguan from Koch 33 VW. They do all of my service. They are prompt in answering questions and reasonable with rates. The service gentleman are stellar! I highly recommend this dealership.

30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

I must be an exception. I have had no issues with my Tiguan at all after a year and a half of ownership. Bought in October, 2021. I do notice the hesitation on start up but it’s not an issue. I had an Audi allroad and was considering the Q5 but, you get pretty much all the same features with the Tiguan that the price difference just wasn’t justified for me. Plenty of get up and space when you need it. I’m a life long VAG customer so the quirks don’t deter me. I’ve had a great experience and would recommend the Tiguan.

I absolutely love this car and all it’s features even though it doesn’t open and close trunk via keyphobe. Kids love the car especially the panoramic sunroof.

2022 SEL R-Line I see the other negative reviews which is unfortunate but I have not had one issue with my 2022 Tiguan. I purchased in October 2021 and have enjoyed the car since purchase. Well appointed with all amenities that come with the Audi Q5 which I was also considering. I went with the Tiguan because all you’re getting with the Q5 is the clout. Long distance driving is amazing as the car basically drives itself. Perhaps I got lucky but I’ve not experienced anything negative so far. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and I recently leased a 2017 Volkswagon Jetta from Barry Grimm at your Doylestown dealership. After all of the paperwork had been completed, and we took that beautiful car home, we realized that maybe we should have opted for the automatic transmission, as opposed to the standard transmission which we initially decided upon, purely due to economics. We thought for sure that we may be stuck with a gorgeous car, yet one that neither one of us felt totally comfortable driving (honestly, I couldn't even get it into first gear, bleh!). Just purchased a new VW from Anthony Law at Fred Beans (Devon, PA). Everything done via the internet - this was the easiest purchase I have ever made! I had shopped several dealers here in N.J. and Anthony gave me the best price right from the beginning with no haggling. He was extremely professional and I knew ALL COSTS ahead of time via the buyers order that was emailed to me. (Buyers do need to be aware when obtaining quotes from dealers as they will ALWAYS contain every rebate available. Be an INFORMED BUYER and ask lots of questions!) No high pressure. Sarah was extremely thorough and made the vehicle pick-up fast & pleasant. Couldn't have been more pleased with the purchase of my 2017 Passat SEL PREMIUM. And YES ~ I'm a loyal VW owner. I'm turning in my 2012 Passat diesel, but sticking with the Passat as it's a great car and I really love it.

Nice riding vehicle EXCEPT it has a hesitation issue when you step on the gas from a standstill. Happens most when the "stop/start" is active, less when you turn it off but it still hesitates. Dealer has no answer other than it is normal and we can't find anything. Others have voiced same concern, recall?

Drove past a few weeks ago and a few of the cars in the lot caught my eye, I wasn’t in the market for ancar but had some time to kill so my friend Steph and I decided to go take a look around. We stuck to used cars mostly (although there were quite a few new cars, especially the Audi’s that caught my eye!) we were greeted the second we walked in the door, actually before we walked in the door because the first thing we did was walk outside in the lot looking at some of the Certified pre owned cars, we were barely there a minute before Brendan came up and introduced himself, he could not have been a nicer, more knowledgeable guy! We were up front saying we were just killing time, but he didn’t care and still grabbed keys for us to open some of the cars, offered refreshments etc. We eventually went inside and Brendan showed us some of the other pre owned cars they had, asked what we were currently driving, if we were interested what were we looking for etc. He even grabbed his boss, Joe, who I guess is the used car manager and he introduced himself, ended up taking us out in a beautiful black 2016 A5 that if I didn’t just recently lease a car I would have bought on the spot. The two of them really took the time to show us around, ask questions, make us feel comfortable and just seemed to care. Honestly, I wish I hadn’t just leased a car because I would have MUCH preferred buying from these guys then where I did get my car (which was closer to where I live and the opposite of this great experience). We got there cards and gave them our info. Well, this morning my friend steph who was with me decided she was buying that beautiful a5! Her car is a bit older, but still reliable, but she just couldn’t get over he great experience, service and deal, so as long as that car is still there this coming week it’s sold! Thank you Brendan and mike! You guys left such a great impression on us both that you sold a car to someone who wasn’t even in the market! You guys are THE GREATEST!

I got interested in this car when I rented it for a couple of days while conducting business out of town. I discovered that it suited my auto needs 100 percent, and at such a reasonable price. I am of a certain age and I find it more of a challenge to get in and out of cars. I don't like climbing up into and sliding down out of trucks and SUV. I don't like bending the slipping into sedans and having to pull myself out of them. The Tiguan comes closest to walking into the driver's sit and walking out. As for stowage, the stowage in the rear also is at perfect mid-thigh level, minimizing bending and lifting. So comfort was of highest priority. But economy comes in a close second, and so far the MPG is great. So is the pickup; it's plenty peppy.

Unfortunately the vehicle I was shopping for wasn’t a available for financing with my bank (bank’s issue not the dealership’s) so I didn’t end up purchasing from them but the customer service was so great I wanted to leave a review. During my car shopping experience in all of my years I’ve never had a dealer try so hard to get me what I wanted. Their salesperson was so accommodating that he was even up and texting with me before the dealership was even open (due to my work hours). The sales manager tried everything he could without any nonsense or games. Next time I’m in the market they will be the first place I look.

They’re very responsive and communicate well via email. I ended up not getting the car because it was purchased before I was able to go to the shop but they kept me updated and offered me alternatives.

Great car, quiet ride mostly for an SUV, glad I bought it, tested Honda CRV, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorrento, Chevrolet Equinox, Terrain, and many others, at that time I could not make a comparison with Toyota since there were none to be tested, the Tiguan stood above the others

Good all - around vehicle...decent power, roomy and comfortable interior, quiet and smooth ride, good handling and nice steering feel, great gas mileage, good visibility... Freeway passing requires a bit of patience and planning...
