I have purchased new and used cars before, from different dealerships all over the Atlanta area. A total of 10 counting this one. Plus 2 bikes, but I'm not counting those. I have had absolutely TERRIBLE experiences, and I have had okay experiences. This was, without a doubt the best of them. What made the difference- Sam Rangel. My wife shopped around online and found a van she wanted to look at, and it happened to be at the Hardy Superstore. She went by herself to check it out. She met Sam. Sam was the opposite of what many come to think of when they think of a used car salesman. Sam was very kind and helped her. He listened to her and genuinely desired to help her find what she was looking for. I know most good sales people are like that, but there are some that don't have a customer service quality to them, but Sam does. She never felt pressured. Sam made us feel like he was on our side of things- whether it was the vehicle, the negotiation, the financing, or whatever. He was our representative. I love looking at cars, and investigating them, but absolutely HATE haggling and the actual car buying part. Sitting and waiting forever, going back and forth. Then when you are done, you have to wait for the vehicle to be cleaned and gassed...ugh. Did I say I HATE car buying? So this time, I done the whole deal with Sam through text messaging! A first for me. Whenever I asked for something, Sam replied. Sam's manager, and Finance closer- Mitch Feraco made a great team. And he had the van ready so when we got there, we signed and drove away! So, if you find a vehicle at the Hardy Superstore, or need someone to help you find one, call Sam Rangel- you wont regret it. Look, if you dont know about the virtues of the GTI, you really need to go drive one. This is the total package, a great combination of speed, handling and practicality. This is the mature, grown up way to inject enthusiasm into your daily commute, while still being able to show up at your In-laws place and look respectable. They'll never know that you can blow the doors off a lot of boy racers on the way there. Bottom line: If youre looking for a car that will make runs to Costco and then put a smile on your face on the back roads home, this is your best bet.

Volkswagen did a great job refining the MK8 GTI. Key points -One of the best handling FWD cars mainly due to the LSD, XDS and suspension refinement. -Very smooth power deliver almost 0 turbo lag. - 40th anniversary has to be the best value purchase as it comes standard with DCC and IQ lightings which are only available on the highest trim. The negatives include: -The infotainment can be improved wireless android and apple car play need to be standard. Can't set your phone properly on the wireless charger when the phone is attached to the wire. - Compared to the MK7 the coin holder and the sliding storage below the driver sear is missing. -Unable to disable auto start and stop feature permanently as restores to default on every time you start the vehicle.

The services on my car were detailed and transparent. The speed of service was solid. The work was done professionally too. Service Department treats me very well too, very friendly group of folks!

It’s simply the most fun you can have with your pants on! Add an APR Stage 1 tune for a lot more giddy up and go. In town MPG 28-29. Interstate MPG 38.5. Other highways up to 44 MPG.

Diesel Volkswagen. Need I say more? Comfort, reliability, BEST FUEL MILEAGE, and they don’t hesitate to continue making manual vehicle. 10/10 recommend. I can’t see myself driving anything else.

This was an excellent choice. I really appreciate the patience of the dealership working with me. I think, thought, and over thought this purchase trying to look at every possible angle of why get this vehicle. They had no pressure to buy. They answered any and all questions. They kept offering water/snacks and other amenities for comfort. But no pushy pressure. Patience should be in their title. It was a better experience than I’ve had at other dealerships. Final choice was the iD.4 which they explained everything up front and worked with me to iron out a deal. I tried to look for clues to them being shady or sneaky but it wasn’t there. I feel good about my purchase and would highly recommend them to others. Well done.

This all-electric car is fun to drive, comfortable, and has lots of fun features! ( So many that I am still learning about!) We knew we wanted electric, and I love the Volkwagen that I had, so this was the perfect car for us. It seats 4 comfortably, 5 is a little tight but do-able.

2016 e-Golf SEL bought use 2yr old for 16K with 28k mi. Now 10/2023 with 63k miles. Two tires an a bunch of wipers. Fun, handles well, cheap charging costs (4.2/kWh), 5.3 mi/kWh, practical layout. No updating the navigation, not the best visibility but great backup camera. Not thrilled about the defrost wires in the windshield but it is fast. One foot driving is great! Like a poor man's Model 3.

I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

One of the best daily drivers for the money in my opinion. VW got the 2.0 TSI engine down pat for this generation, very reliable and tunable. The interior is quite comfortable, even the backseat. I’m 6’ 1” and can sit behind myself decently, the same can’t be said about many SUVs and sedans.

The best combination of AWD 4-door hot hatch with 6-SP manual. Rear 0-100% torque vectoring is a huge technical advancement. Powerful and economical 313 HP 4-cylinder. The Golf R is a true sleeper. M2 performance in. a low-key wrapper.

Best vehicle that I have ever owned, great mileage, reliable, has that inimitable distinct VW design, doesn't look like every other car on the road. Considering the VW Bus when it comes out in the fall of 2024!

GTI's do almost everything well. Economy, performance, flexibility, holds value, road car, back roads car, safety, comfort, feature-laden and now almost $10K less than the price of the average new vehicle. Two minor flaws IMO. All GTI's should have Golf R climate controls. Standard controls too confusing and fussy. Rather set it and forgot it. DSG is "still funky after all these years." Don't get me wrong, the lightning quick shifts and in-traffic ease are compelling, but DSGs can be clunky and feel strange at low speed and can't yet read all of your intentions correctly, thus some odd decisions/shifts on occasion. Not a fault, just a thing. Otherwise brilliant. GTI is among the contenders for "best" mass-produced combustion engine car of all time. Yes, that good. If shopping the used market, I would strongly suggest one try to get a Performance Package car. Much better brakes that won't need brake service as often and stop better. Also, the electronically controlled differential aids both traction and handling.

Solid for a convertible. Goes surprisingly well in the snow and with the seats down can haul stuff. I have this as my only car and it is actually very practical. Plus, it’s just a joy to drive.

There what is the miscommunication between the sales people and the manager David Love and I got pretty upset about it because it was not what we agreed upon and I put a deposit down and we kind of talked back-and-forth and he called me back and said that he was going to refund my deposit in so he did right by me and that’s very rare in this world and so I recommend this dealership highly just for this.

I once owned a 91 golf, but I hear those new parts are alright though. I would like to have my little buddy back. 500 down 250 per month for 36 months.

I have owned my convertible bug for 10 years. I bought it brand new and have 98k miles on it. I have taken this car for its yearly inspection and oil changes at the dealership and completed all factory recommended service. Believe it or not I have not had to do anything besides buy tires...its on the second set...This car is still on all its original parts breaks, rotors etc...Its insane!!! I love my bug and it has been the best little car I have owned.
