2018 Volkswagen Atlas V6 SE Review
Great spacious SUV

This vehicle has much more space than my previous Highlander, very comfortable on long trips, 0 complaints after a year of ownership, can't say that about other new cars I have owned. The only down side is the 20 mpg it gets, but is comparable to other SUV's in this class.

2017 Volkswagen Touareg Wolfsburg Edition Review
Best car for the $

I bought a used 2017 VW Touraeg when looking at several SUV's in the price range...the VW has more standard features than any other car in that $27k - $35k price range. Plus the car is so heavy but handles like a little compact car...I owned a 2011 Chevy Suburban and it is every bit as heavy but nimble as the 2006 Pontiac Torrent I owned too.
We purchased a new 2017 Honda Pilot. Scott Shutton was our sales man. Scott did an outstanding job answering all our questions and presenting the car to us. Scott also had great working knowledge of all the functions the Pilot had.
The finance guy I believe his name was Frye was great to work with. He was very polite and helpful. He made the paper work a very easy process.
The sales manager I can't say the same about. I believe his name was Cliff. We were dealing with him on the price and at first they couldn't do what we wanted-$33,500(out the door for the deal). We left. An hour goes by and my wife gets a call from Cliff asking if we would go $34,038.00. My told him make it 34,000 even and we will buy it. Cliff agrees on the phone to those terms. Once we start signing papers we realize that they are charging us 34,160.00 + or - a few dollars. I know it isn't much more in the overall picture, but its the principal that he told us 34,000.00 even. Frye(finance guy) made it right and we bought the car.
Other than that issue the buying experiance went good.

I got this car because I wanted a midsize SUV with plenty of cargo space for travel. It has that as well as plenty of leg room for passengers. There are three USB ports and a vent in the back for AC and heat. I also love the moon roof. This car checked off all the boxes I wanted in a midsize SUV.
It was a good experience dealing
with Bud Clary and associates.

This vehicle was purchased by my wife, for my wife, then she gave it to me. Haha. Wasn’t my pick and admittedly different from my previous vehicle (v6 pilot) truly- I average 24-25mpg and these days that adds up to roughly 33% of my payment covered by the gas savings alone, and I’m always first off the line. She’s quick when you stomp on the gas. Smaller yet the seats feel roomier. The back of the seat is heated as well as the seat on the S.E. model which is nice. Sorry VW because I’ve been talking shnit for years but thanks to a series of my wife’s co workers buying VW’s, I negotiated an amazing deal and I’m happier than I’ve ever been with a car purchase. Now let’s see how you handle the test of time....
Wai til they get this thing figured out. Not a good mechanical car...yet..let's see how it plays out. Acceleration, hesitation, auto quit. I like the size, the new style. DVD plays one at a time and hidden in the glove compartment. IN the shop dead at 8000 miles.
