Used Volvo C30 for sale near Bandera, TX

Came in for a regular oil change and left with a new (gently used) car! A big Thank you to Ronny for the full attention he gave me with no pressure to buy. My first car was a Renault Clio Bebop, followed by a Peugeot 106 rally car, then an Alfa 145 and then I met this C30 guy in 2009. I loved it. Then I bought a C30 again in 2012, with a nicer design, the EcoDrive. I still have this and it's been 10 years. It brings together everything I like in a car: safety, stability, resistance and beautiful design. It is a shame that so much damage has been suffered in the workshops that represent Volvo – Santogal in Portugal. There it was damaged in several ways, and in the last inspection, a few days ago, they did several things to it, namely: they filled the coolant tank too much (1 finger over the maximum), they cleaned the air conditioning system and at the time removing the grille. which is near the front glass, they broke a fitting and on the same side they lost a screw, that is, this grille is only fixed on the left side, on the right side it is loose. They discovered that the inner bellows was broken and for this reason they wanted to replace both steering arms. I know that to change this bellows you have to disassemble many things, it is a lot of work, but saying that “there is considerable clearance in the suspension arms” to justify changing the right and left arms seems too much to me, especially when I go for the mandatory inspection to request an evaluation of this clearance and verify that there is no clearance, they confirmed that the internal bellows is broken but found no clearance in the suspension arms. In the past they have damaged the rims mainly because Volvo wheel nuts are really challenging as they are one of the few brands that insist on making a capped nut that is sealed to look better but eventually comes loose. . When they loosen, they cannot be released easily and that is why they do it by hammering. Over time the paint wears off and now I have wheels that are a shame. In addition to all this, the C30 for me is a fantastic car with extraordinary features. On the home/work route it consumes 5.4, which is great, and in the city it consumes more, staying at 7.2. However, in addition to being a pleasure to drive this car, because we feel that we are in a safe car, it drives quite well and responds very well in situations where we need engine and power. The engine is a known and proven engine (Peugeot 307) and as such presents no problems in this regard. The exterior design for me remains one of the most beautiful. When the car is well washed (mine is silver) it looks beautiful and has an aggressive look, naughty I would say! :) It's lovely. It's a shame they ended this model. I won't let go of mine. It will stay with me until it reaches classic status! :)

I bought this car due to its performance potential...It absolutely lived up to its hype and for as much modifying as was done to it, it handled it all very well..I want to raise the reliability score when I read people giving it poor reliability ratings in the review section..Their reasons for the low score were not owning to the car long enough so they gave it a 1, and the other was parts and labor are expensive, but still didnt state if they actually had a reliability issues..Ive owned this car for 6 years, and not one time has it remotely let me down, and I'm in the forums for the following of people with the c30..Rarely have I seen a complaint..

The C30 is what the Mini wants to be. Waited and watched for a couple years to buy the Polestar version of the C30. In mid 2016 found the 01 of the 250 built for the US with around 50k miles for sale. Bought it for 19k. This model C30 has the works. Leather, premium sound, sunroof, heated electric 5-way seats, etc. I bumped the power to a stage 3 with the Euro T5 version Borg Warrner K16 turbo, larger intercooler, 650 injectors, 3 bar MAF, custom air intake, custom tune, etc. Car now puts out 340 horses and slightly less torque. It's fast and nimble. Best thing about this car is even with all the mods it is stunningly reliable. The C30 is my everyday driver and I even take it on 12 hr. road trips. Assuming I keep my foot mostly out of turbo the car gets around 26 in town 30 highway. I am good with that considering. Car is going on 11 years old and 100k miles. Paint and interior are still great, and maintenance is what you would expect from a car half its age. At this point, 2024 the C30 will have been out of production for 11 years. Can't say I would advise anyone to buy this car as some interior and exterior parts are already becoming difficult or impossible to buy new. Unless you are an enthusiast like me that want's a C30 regardless Volvo has newer models less fun but as reliable.

Looking at vehicle online, there were 100+ great photos, Mo sent me two video walk-arounds and offered to FaceTime if I had any additional concerns. For those buying online, this is a very reputable dealer. I sent a deposit via Zelle. Mo held vehicle and cancelled other showings for that day, as promised. The price was more than fair for my vehicle. At the time, there was not another for sale, in the entire country, with less miles in my preferred configuration (TDI). He even arranged shipping for a very reasonable price and within a few days of the purchase. They handled the out-of-state title transfer for me. I'd never purchased a vehicle without seeing in person and driving. Mo delivered on service and quality. The vehicle was as advertised, an awesome find. I've always liked hatchbacks and the C30 is the best one ever. This is NOT every other SUV or truck. Performance is terrific and if they don't outlaw gasoline I'll be driving this rascal for a long time.

I have a 2011 C30 T-5 with red interior and a polestar tune package. This is my 4th volvo and I like most everything about this car. As all volvo's are heavy weight bricks and can be a little bit sluggish on the launch, but this one is pretty zippy with the tune up. The brakes suck on this car, so I put a big brake kit and that fixes the mushy feel. The car is also way too tall, so I put in coil overs to lower the stance. the car comes with laughable window tinting so that was done too. I would note this car gets poor fuel economy for as small as it is, so if that's a concern, don't get this car. You will be disappointed with each fill up oh high octane fuel. Otherwise, this is a cool original car, and you can be sure there aren't a whole lot out there as you zip around in your very original looking hatchback.

I love that they can't sell it in the U.S. anymore so its cool factor went way up!I love Volvos and have always driven them so I'm partial. This car is very fast, heavy doors, backseat too low for anyone to sit comfortably for long.

I bought my 2011 C30 almost 6 years ago (2015). It has been everything I had hoped for, and then some. This is my second Volvo. (My second car, back in the day, was a 1964 Volvo 122S.) While the C30 is a "compact" car, the Swedes designed the interior with more than enough room for my 6' 3" frame. I love taking the car out on the winding roads through the coastal hills and letting it rip. My C30 has been extremely reliable, and problem-free. As a 10 year-old car, its styling more than holds up over time. I still get compliments from strangers, many who can't believe it's a Volvo. I expect to own this car for many years to come. After years of owning larger vehicles while we raised our family, this C30 has been an absolute joy to own and drive.

First time I sow it I wasn't to excited "What can you expect from Volvo" I thought. First time I drove it I fell in love with it. Car is very soft feels like you draining limousine, comfortable seats, premium sound, excellent handling in city and freeway. I am very happy with this car. I haven't had any mechanical problems at all. Do recommend it

This car is the right size for commuting in. There is decent visibility, handles well and a smooth ride that takes some of the stresses out of traffic. The style is fantastic for a bottom of line model. Sure it doesn't have all the fancy gadgets the bigger cars have, but would you really use them on a daily basis. If you are looking for an up-scale hatch, check it out ...if you can find one.

I have a 2010 C30 R-Design (T5). To sum it all up, This car ROCKS! The performance, handling, and gas mileage are all good. The styling is great! It can fit 4 adults comfortably. Not great for a family with two or more small kids though. If you want a unique small hatchback that is safer than most cars, buy a Volvo C30.

Love my C30 R-Design so much I turned a one day old Cayman back in because it just felt better.. Last month I decided to keep it over the new XC40. Of all my 18 new sports cars purchased over 40 years, this is the one car I like overall the best! 5 cylinder with turbo is good combo along with auto trans that I use in manual mode alot. I wouldn't let it go for less than $15K even at the 93K mark.

This car has the perfect balance of performance and styling. Dash is well laid out for user input while driving. The turbocharged 5 cylinder performs extremely well while getting close to 30MPG. You can tell car was well designed and it very much has safety in mind. Body structure is more substantial and then any other two door car I've owned. I would highly recommend this car!

I purchased this car 10 years ago new. It was a base model with a 6 speed manual. I still comment to myself when I drive this car how much I like it. Comfortable, and all the speed I need for around town and the highway. No problem merging or passing. So far very reliable. Gets a lot of admirers.
