Mostly what you would expect

I had a 1998 S70 T5 with the VERY rare 5spd manual (one of 363 in the country in 1998). This car was probably my favorite car I've owned out of about 15 cars now, despite it constantly giving me issues. The first and biggest issue with the car and volvos in general, is that volvo is actually a very eco friendly company that uses a lot of recycled material in building their vehicles, and it does not age well. On older volvos like this one, this lead to interior parts and even many parts under the hood, basically turning to glass over time and crumbling/shattering when touched. I loved the car. WIth nothing but a tune, was EXTREMELY fast, sounded really cool, had absolutely awesome seats and a surprisingly good factory stereo system. It was a good car, very solid build (doors were reminiscent of a bank vault), comfortable for long drives, but as she got older, started to give me that anxiety if "will this car start" every time i inserted the key. I am a volvo guy at heart too. I dont know if id buy another p80 chassis "white block" volvo, as i think this was kind of volvo's weak years. I plan to buy another volvo, but probably something older or something much newer once i wear my Lexus out.
