After 1 1/2 years, I still LOVE my car!

I did a ton of research on this car before purchasing it, searching high and low to see the colors in person and in the Inscription package that we wanted.
I absolutely love the car. I have no complaints. It is extremely comfortable, rides beautifully, is easy on the eyes and has some great pick up! Sometimes I pull away from a light or when entering the highway faster than I intend.
I still love the car and after longer road trips will often make that comment. The only single thing that I would change is the exterior color. It was a compromise because my husband and I could not agree and we were not impressed by the white or black. There was a darker blue shade that we really liked but it was not an option on this model (Denim blue - hint, hint Volvo).
Plus the rear seat leg room is insane. Our teenage kids have no complaints when we go for long car rides. We sometimes drive 5 hours to go ski and no one is needing to stretch their legs or uncomfortable.

Keeps getting odd electrical faults

My Volvo S90 has many odd electrical faults, heads up display, when getting close to a vehicle in front with cruise control on some times the white car in heads up display disappears and also it as cancelled. The problems started with my car doors unlocking, the windows opening, and the boot lid open. Some times when I use my indicators to turn left the car slows. The radio cuts off. and many more faults. This car is still under warranty . And help would be great full

I added a S90 to my luxury taxi fleet, the base T5 Momentum is plenty to accelerate into the highway and I average 28mpg, my customers seem to enjoy the quiet ride and plenty of leg room, if music is preferred mine has the B&W upgrade stereo that is super fantastic. The car is almost crash proof with all the tech. I am enjoying it and looking forward to adding a 2018 when they reach the used price point that works for my situation.

Is this a car or a computer on wheels. I love the big tablet touchscreen. Much prefer that over buttons and knobs; most of which are so redundant. Have only had it a couple of weeks but get a lot of oohs and ahhs. I got the top level Inscription. I chose to get 18" wheels to improve ride quality and quietness. It was too noisy and rough for me with the 20" wheels. To say that Volvo takes safety to the extreme is an understatement. I really did my shopping this time and didn't find any other car with all the bells and whistles.

This being online only,i was a bit wary, but they ave a huge inventry and great prices. i did't feel like haggling with a typical dealer, so decided to do it from my couch. Wanted a luxury sedan that was a little different from the standard BMW, Audi or Mercedes Benz. Test drove all the comparables and chose the S90 for its understated elegance and roomy cabin. Purchased a T6 Inscription trim with amber interior. Being a tech fan, I love the SENSUS infotainment system. Some of the safety warnings a little intrusive but were easily turned off. Not really a sporty driver so the 316HP all wheel drive is plenty for me. More then enough to zoom around the beltway.

I loved this car until the engine light went on at 6,000 miles and the air conditioner stopped working with my two pets in the car 30 minutes from home at 10,000 miles. Now I'm concerned that they won't be able to "replicate" the problem and I will get to drive around waiting for the air to break down again. This is familiar to me as it happened in my prior Volvo but.....it was 9 years old with 130,000 miles on it. Also the crash car light and loud alert comes on when cars are not in front of me and are in my periphery that scares me to death. The cupholder situation is not user friendly. Otherwise the pilot assist and many other safety features have worked great. I know I do not want to drive a car that I am concerned about the a/c in Florida. Very disappointed.

It went fine. I received a recall notice for my Rav4, called and booked an appointment a few days before. Upon arriving at the dealership (my first time there) I was directed to a shorter line for people with appointments, which I appreciated. Kimberly took down my information, got my keys and told me it would take about 2.5 hours. This seemed pretty long, since I was waiting for the car. But it turned out to be only a little over an hour, which was great. They had a little bit of a mixup trying to bring my car back to me after the repair...that took about 15 minutes, but the repair got done and I'm happy.

This vehicle is a true from of luxury and simplicity. The vehicle has great curb appeal and the seats are beyond comfortable. The standard Pilot Assist is a fun feature and definitely helps you out on those long drives and when you get a little tired and sloppy on the road. The only thing I found a little difficult finding on the vehicle is the heated seat controls and the button to open the hood of the vehicle.

Oil Leak - quickly diagnosed and repaired

Discovered an oil puddle beneath our 2016 XC60. Needless to say, NOT a good thing. Emailed Na'Em Adams, our regular service writer, and sent him a photo of the puddle as well as a paper towel showing the color and hue of the offending liquid. Na'em was waiting for me when I arrived and made sure the shuttle ride home as requested, was available. The problem turned out to be a cracked drain plug washer [perhaps the best oil leak problem one can have] and that was quickly repaired, the oil refilled and problem solved. Cannot ask for more than that. Got a phone call from Na'em explaining the repair and was able to pick up the car that afternoon. Almost too easy. Almost.

Have a 2012 Xc60 and a 2018 Xc60. Both are serviced by Rusnak/Pasadena Volvo. So I have years of experience with the service. It has been uniformly excellent of the the 6 years that they have been servicing the 2012 and I expect that they will provide the same concientious service to my 2018 T8. I've found Volvos to be reliable cars, even with all of the high tech gear they carry. I haven't had any trouble with either car other than a rat chewing on the wiring of the 2012.

I have a Volvo XC70 and I love it but it needed service so for two weeks I got to drive a 2018 S90 Inscription T6 and man, this car amazing. It has everything. Sleek and sexy this car is a real head turner. It handles like a dream, has every option imaginable and blows away most cars on the road. The trunk is great. The legroom is great. The stereo rocks. I really couldn't find anything I didn't like about it. My advice? Get it in black!!!
