The mechanic discovered we needed new rear brake pads and an alignment. We were about to head off on a 400 mile trip. So glad he caught it. I first contacted Sandberg Volvo on a Friday morning, but our search began many days before. My wife and I previously owned a XC60 and we were set on the new Recharge Extended Range. We searched all dealers in WA, ID and OR looking for the best package and price. These models are limited and we expected a different experience than when we bought our first Volvo when the market was “normal.” Friday morning I combed the 250 mile dealer radius (we live in Olympia) and found a model we had not seen at any other dealer; a Polestar Engineered. Assuming this was ordered, pre-sold, or not available, I inquired about it through their automated buying process. Just before the dealership opened I received an email from sales consultant Fouad Fares and within minutes we were texting and conversing on the phone. Fouad and manager Bill Tapscott tailored the deal, we drove up the next day and the entire process was simple, transparent and by far the best car buying experience. All the staff were friendly and DJ in finance was also a pleasant surprise. We never felt pressured, all of our questions were answered and we left feeling a little bewildered because it was not at all what we expected in the best way. The only downside to the whole process was the drive from Olympia to Lynnwood. It was worth it and the drive back was amazing in our new XC60 Polestar Engineered Extended Range! Thank you again Fouad, Bill and DJ! We’re definitely making the drive again for our next Volvo! Hopefully this review gives you the confidence to consider and start your search with Sandberg Volvo. It will save you a lot of time and you won’t be disappointed.

Jacques Smith was the best. He was very personable and answered all of our questions. Their was not the presumed rush or sales pitch upon entering. To be honest it was a very enjoyable. Everyone at the dealership seemed like family, which made the experience all that much better.

Derek Thomas has been service department point of contact since 2018 for my XC90 T6 R-Design. He always goes above and beyond for me whether its setting up a loaner car or ensuring my vehicle service is done as fast as possible.
