My first Volvo coming from BMW’s. It’s very affordable to fix and initial cost. It’s comfortable and heated front and rear seats and steering wheel was a real selling point. Automatic transmission shifts ok also has sport mode or manual shifting options. Gas mileage is decent. Has start stop option you can turn on or off. Back up cam is great. Visibility all around is great for being a larger vehicle. No blind spots. Love it so far!

I had been to several dealers and none were able to get us a deal we felt comfortable with for a car we liked. But here at Primera Auto it was different. I purchased my 2004 S80 used with 128,000 miles hoping it would last me a couple of years. That was in 2013 and it is still going strong with a few little old age quirks. The fabric is starting to pull away from the front passenger pillar by the windshield. The leather seats are worn, which is expected after 20 years of daily use. When the temperature is 35 degrees or lower it is stubborn starting, However, once it does (2nd to 3rd attempt) everything is good. I am slightly under 200k (197,779). Upkeep and repairs have included: Regular maintenance Replacement of 5 cylinders, although not at the same time. New radiator due to road construction mishap. (hit a good size pot-hole). Side mirror cover replacement because of theft. The S80 was not what I was looking for in 2013. The price was great and I took a chance. I am so glad I did. The car is not garage kept and there are not faded areas at all.

S60 T6 R design with 3.0. First off, 205,000 miles on original engine and transmission. Do the basic maintenance and the car will reward you. Amazing acceleration and handling, in league with other sport coupes. Except, comfy seats and smooth on long drives and pretty quiet. This, for a fraction of an audi or bmw. Wish it had a manual. Wish Volvo would keep making a true sport coupe like this. If they still made these I would buy another. I love this car.

Love it but hit a elk at 55 mph car was smashed up but no injuries and I fixed the front end my self for around 1600 dollars no macinc skills easy to work on handles great and fast enough great car

Bought it New in December 2012. We have had very few problems over the 11 years we have owned it. Granted we only have 85,000 miles +/-, but I would love to get an updated 2024 version of this Volvo. If I had it to do again I would definitely buy it.

Love the interior room and Volvo styling. Tons of convenience and safety features. The 3.0 has plenty of power. Plenty of storage in the back even with the seats up.

My Volvo S80 is 2007, now as I am writing this review it is year 2020. Simple put, the best car ever made. I owned Mercedes, Toyota and Mazada. All fine cars but got rid of them within a year or two. This one I kept over a decade and has no plan to part with it. In these 13 years it only required oil change, new tires and scheduled service. Only just replaced battery last year. The newly redesigned Volvo has only V4. Better for the environment but just don’t feel the same.

I really like the look of my S90. It's a different brand that I would normally think of when I think of luxury sedans. However, once I sat in the inscription model it felt expensive. I got a deal buying it used for 30K. Loaded with safety features and decked out with the Bowers & Wilkins sound system it's ready. I really like the sound of the B&W system and the look is amazing.

My first Volvos were XC70 models starting in 2002. I loved those cars and now I love the perfect fit of the V60XC, more tailored and a tad more athletic, great size for me and my dog.

Before buying used, have an independent mechanic check it over. I had a bad experience with the dealer with several expensive issues shortly after my purchase. Brakes, alignment/tires, shock and steering wheel electronics (voice command, radio). The steering wheel electronics problem is common.

This car has blown me away. It has all the bells and whistles I wanted and drive like butter! The color is perfect and the rims are bomb! The interior is clean, and very well taken care of.

Love our gently used 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 Turbo wagon. 130k miles on it and we have only had to replace the alternator and battery. Does not burn oil, does not leak oil. Has been a very reliable car. If you do the maintenance and change the oil every 5 thousand miles it will last a long time. Regular oil changes are very important as with any car. Most people don’t do this. The 6 cylinder is one the best engines they have made. Timing chain will last a long time as long as you put new clean oil in the engine every 5k miles. No transmission problems and no differential problems for us. No one likes to spend $2,000 for the 90k service but it’s a big one. Important preventative maintenance will take this car to 200,000 miles. Read the owners manual and follow the service schedule.

8 years later we still love this vehicle. We plan on driving it until it goes to the junk heap. The dealership in Edmonton is excellent and this is an SUV made for cold Alberta winters. Volvo makes a great realiable car.
