Marland Saul of ‘Volvo Cars of Tucson’, is the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. We are from Alaska and were shopping for late model vehicles out of state for better selection and a possible road trip adventure home. Starting with Email then phone inquiries regarding used late model XC-90s, Marland kept us informed of current and incoming inventory, without the pressure that many dealers are using during the Covid Pandemic. Example: “this won’t be here long, you better put a deposit down now.” We made appointment to visit him and test drive vehicles while Tucson. My wife and her mother, also looking for future vehicle, spent an afternoon with him driving 3 different vehicles and getting educated about the product line. On a different day together we spent another afternoon with him driving different vehicles and further getting educated. Marland actually made us feel like what he wanted to do that day was help us decide on the right vehicle for us. His knowledge of the vehicle line is complete and refreshing. We never felt the stereotypical ‘Car salesman pressure’. There was no pressure to include dealer “AddOns”. At the end of the afternoon we decided We needed to special order the exact Car we wanted for maximum long term value and satisfaction. We decided to have the vehicle delivered to Alaska instead of picking it up in Tucson. It may have been simpler to take all the Info Marland shared with us and just order it from the local dealer. Waited a long time to go from a 2010 to a 2020 XC60. There is no comparison to the fit, comfort, and digital experience. The stereo is outstanding. Like night and day. And I really like the older XC60!

When we pulled into Tucson a few weeks ago from Ohio on an Friday our brakes begin to fail. I called them and they told me their service schedule was booked for the next three weeks but to drop the car off on Monday and they would work it into their schedule since it was a safety issue. By Tuesday they had it fixed under warranty and also did a full safety check I could not have been happier with their responsiveness, kindness, and professionalism. We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

We bought a used 2004 Mercedes Kompressor from Mr. Lopez. The purchase was for my grandson. The vehicle was clean, no dents, etc. Our experience was good. Mr. Lopez was patient and understood our concerns (he was accommodating and seemed eager to help us). We test drove the vehicle and it ran well. The vehicle seemed reasonably priced. In spite of this, we were able to negotiate a discount. Upon purchase, we took the vehicle into the dealership (Mercedes-Benz) for routine maintenance. Other than the need for an oil change, the mechanic found the vehicle in good working condition. Vehicle running good so far. Although we understand maintenance on these types of cars can be expensive, we are satisfied with the purchase. My grandson is happy. Thank you Mr. Lopez.

This is my third Volvo and my favorite model of the three. It is the perfect car for me. It is a very comfortable car to drive. I love the design of the car. It has a lot of storage in the back. It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

Hands down overall the best car buying experience! Went in discouraged came out super satisfied! Staff were very professional, listened and delivered to my unimaginable satisfaction. I will be referring all my family to this Carlot for superb service.

Great commuter car. Adaptive cruise control is better than most. Good mpg. Very attractive. Agile and good is small spaces ( city driving ). Base sound system should have more power.

This is my forth Volvo and i love it very comfortable and for long trips good gas mileage smooth ride and very roomy i am very pleased with my Xc90
