Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

Bought this car at the end of May of 2023. I drove it a lot that summer. Awsome highway cruiser with the panoramic sunroof. I retired this car from daily driving and now is my 2nd car for when a car is down or something. Recommend this car to anyone.

My 2011 328i has just reached 223k miles. No timing chain replacement. Only oil changes and coolant flushes. Obviously break pads and rotors. It’s been amazing. Fun to drive although I get 22mpg average. As Long as you don’t touch it and don’t drive it like you stole it, you can count on it.

My first Volvo coming from BMW’s. It’s very affordable to fix and initial cost. It’s comfortable and heated front and rear seats and steering wheel was a real selling point. Automatic transmission shifts ok also has sport mode or manual shifting options. Gas mileage is decent. Has start stop option you can turn on or off. Back up cam is great. Visibility all around is great for being a larger vehicle. No blind spots. Love it so far!

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

Bought my 2007 Toyota Tundra CrewMax from Bryan almost 3 years ago now. Since the purchase, I have basically put 52K miles on it and had no issues with the vehicle other than routine maintenance. I felt Bryan was honest and straight forward in his dealings and would buy from him again if the need and vehicle arises. Was overall a very pleasant and low-pressure buying experience.

Great ride for the age and miles, you cant even tell. Runs smooth and strong, and you cant even tell the car is on. Car just needs floor mats and a really good detail, but overall very clean inside and out.

Sporty little hatch with all the right upgrades to a Subaru. Better road noise. Better handling. Better Styling. Simple in all the right ways, and symmetrical cockpit.

Had this car 3 years, and I’m planning to keep it longer, despite its faults. I have the 2016 500x 2ltr diesel, 4x4 auto version. All good, apart from... AC stopped working - and will be very costly to fix; and Intermittent gearbox problem - generally happens after a few hundred miles at motorway speed. Dealer doesn’t know what to do, out of warranty, and they deny there was a recall - which, if you google, is really easy to find.

I recently wrote an honest review regarding our negative experience. Within a day of the review a manager of the dealership called and said they wanted to repair the problem. They did end up repairing at no cost to us and also gave us another truck to drive while they had ours. The door and door locks now work perfectly and we appreciate their effort to make it right. I was unable to remove or edit my previous review, so wanted to be sure to leave another to share that they did end up correcting the problem. We are pleased.

So my wife picked it out Nov 2014. I was a little apprehensive, but the price was right. It had 9miles and we now have 50,056. The only issue was the front air dam between the wheels. Pull to close to the parking block and it will tear off when you back out. Never bothered to replace it. With gas on the rise our timming was really good. I'd get another V but it was discontinued. Versatile is a perfect description for it. Happy shopping 😁 It really handy size wise and mileage is super.

My Scion Xb is 12 now and acts like the champ it was in 2011. It was a lease car so I don't know how it was treated day to day. Yes, the milage was a little high. The paint job is something to see also. It's metallic amethyst (purple). I got it for 12k because of it's history. It was also a dealers online bate car. I love it all around. No major problems in 12 years.

We recently bought our third Outback from King’s Subaru and once again the entire experience was a joy (aside from the cost of course). The Prius was discontinued worldwide as of this year and was no longer sold in North America in 2019. It is a shame because it is an excellent car. MY car is close to 100K miles and I never had any problem with it. It was dealer maintained since buying it new in 2014. It is my second Prius V. The plus: - Fuel Economy: the car averages 40 mpg in the summer. I have managed at times to average between 25 and 27 mpg). The fuel economy drops during the winter which is normal for any car partially running on battery as batteries lose of their efficiency during the winter. - Versatility: The Prius V is a real Swiss Army knife. It can be used as a staion wagon, a crossover, a sedan. Used as a station wagon with the rear seats down, I can fit in more things than in our brand new Honda CRV. It also carries five adults on long distance trips in a very comfortable fashion. - Comfort: The car is amazingly comfortable on long distance driving. I have done a number of long distance trips (New England to Florida, DC to NYC to Boston to NH etc) and I was never tired. The seating position is very good, the driver's seat is adjustable (height, depth, seat back ) and it has an inflatable lumbar support which is very nice. - Heated outside mirrors: This may seem like nothing but it is essential in the Northern States as in New England during snow season. - Audio system and controls are good and ergonomically well designed. - GOod package in my car (I have the 2014 Prius V 3). BT, rear camera, all air bags, GPS etc. - Plenty of storage in doors, in the storage bin between the front seats, and in the double glove box compartments. - Good road handling. -Good acceleration when in Power mode. - Relatively quiet below 55-60 mph. IN fact the car is totally silent below 10 mpg especially when running in electric mode. Between 20 and 55 mpg, the car is very quiet for an hybrid. - Reliability. It is one of the most reliable cars I ever owned in 48 years. - Retail value as a used car. According to all specialized car sites, it is one of the best value in used cars. - Longevity: A Prius V will go well over 200K miles with no problem. I have read that the main battery should be changed at around 140 K miles but from what I read it has been seldom the case for most users. The minus: - Noise at high speeds: forget about listening to any soft audio above 60 mph. It is not loud as it would be in a smaller car such as a Honda Fit or any car that size. It is noisy but not extreme. Two people on the front can have a normal conversation without having to speak loudly. Some noise is expected as compromises had to be made with sonic insulation in order to reduce the weight and therefore improve the fuel economy. - Traction in winter time: Unless equipped with very good snow tires forget about trying to climb icy hills with this car. I was stuck half the way up three years ago in such a hill in Arlington, MA. It was scary. I was stuck once on a small snow drift. In typical New Englander way, I tried to get out by moving forward and backward repeatedly. Normally I should have been able to get out in no time. With the Prius V (I assume as with all the Priuses), there is no torque as when the car is idled, the electric motor is used and not the gas engine. Trying to move the car is impossible. As soon as one of the wheels, front of back senses the smallest slipping, it stops spinning. It is very aggravating. This being said, I have used the car for six winters in the Boston area and in NH with no problems otherwise. Driving on snow is typical of a front wheel drive. On heavily snowed in highways, I found the Prius V having a better handling that many cars around me. - Paint: The car gets scratched very easily. I assume that Toyota cut down in the number of coats of paint applied in order to save weight. - Fragile front and rear bumpers: On model years 1912 to 1915 any small shock front or back will damage the bumper. This was addressed in a redesigned of the car in 2017. - The stock light bulbs are not powerful enough. This is due to the double design of the headlights in the 2012-2016. There are two different sockets and casing for low and high beans. The casing aperture for the low beans is very small. I add to put in high intensity bulbs to be able to see anything on the road. This was also addressed in the post 2016 models. Excellent car.

Love the interior room and Volvo styling. Tons of convenience and safety features. The 3.0 has plenty of power. Plenty of storage in the back even with the seats up.

Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

Very good choise for me and value of money car. Huge cargo space. Powerful engine and fuel economy. Fun to drive and good handling. Very good economy suv.
