I got the Prius V particularly because instead of an SUV or sporty crossover I wanted a bit more of a station wagon feel (not as big as a mini van) that would be long enough to put a bunk bed single mattress in the back (It is). I love the fuel economy and the extra size. I traded in my '06 Prius for this Prius V. I've only has it about 5 hours but think I'm going to love it! I love the Blizzard Pearl. Would have also been happy with Sea Glass Pearl....

25K trouble free miles so far. Everybody picks on the 55 kW maximum charge speed, but the car is so efficient that it still adds 100 mi in ½ an hour at a DC station. Imagine a 200 HP Fit, and you've got the idea. Zero dollars on maintenance/repair.

Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

I still have my 2001 Allroad (built on the A6) and did not think the A4 Allroad would have the same feel - but I was wrong. The 2018 is solid, has great torque and overall performance is superior. Interior is as impressive as the exterior. Very stylish with outstanding handling for a 'station wagon'!

Awesome car. Simply the most car you can buy for the $$$. Only short coming would be for a person without home charging since DC charging is not the fastest on the Bolt. If you took a VW Golf GTI and mashed it with an old school quite, cushy Cadillac and made it cheap to own and run like say a Prius you would have the Bolt.

Bought my Crosstrek from the dealer, and have owned many cars, raced cars, built cars, and even owned my own auto repair shop. The 2013 was first year out, and yes it has improved over the years so I can't leave a 5-star review. The strong points for me have been reliability and looks. Secondary has been a 4cyl with great gas mileage, and decent performance. Interior noise is a little higher than an SUV like a 4Runner, sound system sucks, and Subaru probably should have mated it with a turbo, but overall it has been a great ride, and Subaru fixed many of these issues in later editions. The AWD is amazing in the rain! For those that have the oil consumption in later years, just add engine "restore", and the issue is solved. Replace your bearing w/ the backing plates, and you should be good to go for another 100K. For the first year out, Subaru did an amazing job.

My boyfriend bought his car from Carmax and it was a great experience. So when I needed a new car I looked at Carmax as well. They had everything I wanted but I thought I would get a better deal at a dealership... Boy was I wrong. Went to three different dealerships almost went through with a deal but they couldn't get me a good interest rate. It was so painful and awful I had decided to give up and just sink money into my current car and try again next year. I had an appointment at carmax the following Sunday and Dwyane called me to verify the time. I told him what happened the previous day and said I would be keeping my car because I needed a good rate and didn't want to be making crazy payments. He said, I hear you and totally understand, I'm happy to help you whenever you're ready. Just so you know when you are ready I have a good rate for you so I know we can find you something to make you happy. I was surprised because the other dealership said we couldn't get close to what I needed. Well folks, I'm in a new car, my payments aren't crazy and I have peace of mind. I bought my first 2002 WRX wagon in '04 to replace my Honda CRX Si for a growing family...the car had 48k miles...I had it up until 2017 with 268k miles running a Stage 2 tune. The car was bullet proof and I ran it hard! A car ran a stop sign and took out my rear axle and quarter panel totaling it. After my 02 was totaled (and a lot of sleepless and all-night weeping), maybe 2 months later, the stars were aligned and I was able to find an identical car (year, color, wagon) but with Stage 3+ modifications (300 whp) with only 110k (currently at 180k) and in immaculate condition. No matter rain or snow or w heavy winds, Subaru AWD felt like driving on dry pavement. You really do hug the roads and super stable. I actually LOVE how rough (and uncomfortable says the wife) the car feels because driving a WRX is all about the experience and really feeling the asphalt, dirt of gravel... add all the bells and froo froo whistles and you'll numb the senses of real Subaru boxer engine experience. It truly is a beast and hell of a driving experience that can barely rival it. I feel you'll get better reliability with the older EJ series motors than current/modern Subarus. The wagon (with my roof basket) allows me to carry nearly anything I've thrown at it...and I use the basket weekly...always toting things around. I'm after another Subaru to add to the family because you just can't beat safety, performance, reliability , and resale value of a Subaru...Looking for an 04-06 Forester XT.

Love my KIA SOUL; wish it was Brand New. At my age It would be my best performance car in life.. I will never drive nothin else.. It is perfect in most all ways as for the performance concern.. I am 73.. " GO Granny GO. That is how I feel while driving my KIA.." Only wish it was a Brand New one Black , beigh interia..

I use to only own Hondas- I had Accords and Civics and they were very good cars. However while in college, I needed a new car and was on a shoestring budget. That landed me my first Ford- a Crown Victoria. Now that was an amazing car- very cheap to maintain, easy to work on, etc. It was so amazing, my next car was another Crown Victoria! It too was just as reliable, but unfortunately at over 200k miles and rusting out considerabily, it was time to upgrade. Unforuntately Ford doesn't make the Crown Victoria anymore, but being loyal to the brand, I started looking around. After researching for approximately a year, I felt comfortable enough to pull the trigger on the 2017 Ford C-Max Titanium Energi, and it was a very good decision! It's incredibly comfortable, the heated seats are amazing, and the visibility is awesome as well. The fuel economy is pretty amazing as well- I've averaged about 46 MPG since I got the car in November of 2024. There are a few things I would change if Ford were to ask me- first, there is no map light. The dome light is adequate but its over my head and behind me whereas a map light would be ideal because sometimes you need light directly above you. Second, on a cold day, when you set the heater on 90, the blower will blow cold air on you immediately before the engine is warmed up. Even my old 2005 Crown Victoria did not do this- the blower would not blow any air until the engine had warmed up. Beyond those two complaints, it's an amazing car and perfect for bopping around town.

I contacted J-Linn through their website (J-LinnMotors.net) and filled out their Secure Loan Application. They had around four cars that met my criteria, being low miles and mechanically sound. Their salesperson Fred contacted me the next day was quite friendly. He said they had cars in my price range. I went to buy a car on Friday, May 29, 2020. The first question I asked was "Are you going to be able to finance me?" due to my credit score being very low. I had spent almost two weeks hearing every dealership/auto sales business say no. He responded by saying "Let's run your numbers and see?" He forwarded my information to their finance companies and found one that would do financing. He then told me he had a car that he thought was perfect for me and would meet the finance companies qualifications. He drove a beautiful deep blue 2010 Chevrolet HHR up to the front and I looked it over. It's 10 years old and looked and ran like new. We then did all the paperwork and I drove that car away the same day! I can't say enough about this company. They've been in business for 20 years so I trusted them. The customer service women were wonderful and also quite friendly. Even their other salesman was kind and funny. I've now had the car for a week and a half and have driven it quite a bit. So far, so great! I'm not used to the more modern power assist capabilities but am learning as I go. Again, So Happy!

I owned one from 2007 until 2023. Probably the best car I ever had. I traded it in on a Corolla Cross, but if I could find a factory fres 2007 Vibe, I' d buy it. The only oddity was thst I had to replace two bad water pumps, and serpentine belt. The new Corolla has too much infotainment gadgetry, and a poorly written manual by comparion.

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

Bought a brand new in 2019 Transit Connect, since then we only had to change the brakes and oil !!!! Love this van. Works fine for our company needs. The money that we saved on gas alone is priceless (27/28 MPG). I decided to write this now because this is the only Ford product that didn't disappoint us. Hopefully they start making this work horse again soon.

Need the smallest cargo van for travel. The cargo area offers huge space and the acceleration and ride are fine. Lack of road noise (on decent roads) was a pleasant surprise. I wish there was a larger center console with closable storage. Appreciate that the battery is easily accessible and there is a full size spare. Plenty of light in the cargo area. Fun to drive
